No Talking to Them
The blazing sun hangs high in the sky, its scorching rays seeming to ignite everything on earth.
Under the relentless scorching sun, the Uchiha clan's training ground was shrouded in sweltering heat, with waves of heat rising from the ground and the surrounding air distorted and unbearably stuffy.
This training ground was desolate and barren, without a single roof over its head to provide shade. Only a lone, helpless sapling stood stubbornly, appearing particularly forlorn in this scorching wasteland.
Its sparse branches and leaves cast dappled shadows under the blazing sun, bringing a negligible amount of coolness to the surroundings.
Beside this small tree, several children dressed in the Uchiha Clan attire formed a circle, their once innocent faces now twisted with malice.
They sang to the lively rhythm, their voices should have been filled with childlike innocence and carefree joy, but what came out of their mouths were harsh and cruel notes.
"You jinx! You good-for-nothing! You wild child from who-knows-where, get out of our Uchiha..."
"Ah--!!"
Suddenly, a deafening roar ripped through the deathly silence like a thunderclap.
The angry shout stirred up boundless resentment. Several children were startled by the sudden explosion, their movements halting abruptly. A look of panic flashed across their eyes as they hurriedly glanced towards the source of the sound.
A figure shot towards them like an arrow released from a bow. It was a young man with a face as sinister as a demon from the abyss. His steps carried a powerful aura that seemed to stir up the surrounding air.
The boy's signature hedgehog-like hair stood on end in anger, ready to launch a fatal blow at any moment.
His eyes burned with fury, his face was flushed red with rage, veins bulged on his forehead, and his ashen complexion resembled the dark clouds before a storm, foreshadowing the coming tempest.
"It's the young clan leader! It's Lord Madara! Run!" Someone screamed in panic, and the scream was like a clarion call for escape, instantly causing several children to scatter and flee like frightened birds.
In their panic, they pushed and shoved each other, some even falling to the ground, but they immediately struggled to their feet and continued their desperate escape.
In the blink of an eye, only the sound of footsteps remained on the training field as their figures quickly disappeared into the distance, leaving only a wisp of dust behind.
The young Madara Uchiha surged towards the tree like a raging wave.
At this moment, Madara's chest heaved with rage, his face ashen, and the fire of anger within him erupted from his throat like cannonballs. "If I ever see you bullying him again, I'll make you suffer the consequences, and I'll pull out all your teeth!"
A sudden, soft laugh, like a gentle spring breeze, swept across the treetops, standing out starkly in the sultry, oppressive, and tense atmosphere.
The laughter was like a spark, instantly igniting Madara Uchiha's anger and causing his already turbulent emotions to boil even more fiercely.
Madara Uchiha's body trembled violently, and his sharp, knife-like gaze shot towards the tree like lightning.
His brows furrowed, and his already dignified face appeared even more stern with anger.
"Koki, what are you laughing at? I'm just standing up for you!" His roar was like thunder, making the surrounding air tremble.
"Haha, thank you so much, Madara." Koki's reply was casual, with a hint of nonchalant teasing in her tone.
He remained comfortably sprawled on the tree trunk, his ease suggesting that he was not on rough branches, but in a gentle paradise above the clouds.
Even after being attacked by a group of unruly children and hearing their vile insults, his expression remained calm and serene, like a transcendent immortal.
Finally, Koki slowly sat up straight.
As he moved, the branches made a soft, crisp sound, and he lowered his head slightly, his posture as elegant as a nobleman in a painting.
Immediately, a pair of bright eyes came into view. They were eyes that stood out in the Uchiha territory, clear as the blue sky above, flawless and transparent, so beautiful that it was hard to look away.
"In return, would you be willing to let me lend you a hand and solve some trouble?" Koki's lips curled up slightly, forming a sly smile.
His captivating eyes curved into crescent shapes, sparkling with a mischievous glint.
Madara Uchiha stared at Koki, his anger miraculously subsiding somewhat. Still somewhat resentful, he snorted coldly, "Hmph, no need for you to worry about it. I can handle these trivial matters myself."
"Really? I know that Asami confessed to you a few days ago, you know? Madara seems to be troubled by it too, right?"
"Hmm." Madara gave a haughty snort, "This is none of your business!"
Thinking that those terrifying women also really liked Koki, Madara stomped his foot angrily, turned around and left, "Anyway, stay away from those people, and don't you dare talk to them!"
What's going on now? Koki shrugged, puzzled.
