It's not his fault, Itachi thought groggily.

Itachi gently closed his eyelids, a satisfied smile spreading across his lips, and took a deep breath.

In the soft moonlight, Itachi gently tugged at Koki's sleeve, his voice trembling slightly, "Brother, I'm still a little scared."

"Don't be afraid," Koki replied immediately.

He gently stroked Itachi's hair, lightly combing through his slightly messy strands with his fingers. Every movement of Koki's was filled with tenderness and care, as if he were protecting an injured child.

This is his younger brother.

The weasel's hair seems to have grown a bit longer.

"It's alright, Itachi, everything will be alright." Koki's voice echoed in Itachi's ears, making him feel incredibly safe and trusting.

"Mmm." Itachi leaned close to his brother, his breathing gradually becoming steady, as if he had found a safe haven, no longer caring about the heat or his discomfort.

Itachi only showed all these vulnerable emotions when he was with Koki.

Then, he slowly closed his eyes and peacefully drifted off to sleep.

Moonlight filtered through the gaps in the curtains, dappling Koki and Itachi. Koki held Itachi close, feeling his body temperature and breath, her heart filled with warmth and peace.

My little brother is so cute!!

Itachi's breathing gradually became steady and deep, as if he had already fallen asleep. His body rose and fell slightly in Koki's arms. Koki gently patted his back and murmured softly, making him feel more at ease and fall asleep.

Koki looked down at Itachi's peaceful sleeping face, a wave of tenderness rising in his heart. His eyes shone with gentle light as he looked softly at Itachi's forehead, feeling the beads of sweat on his younger brother's brow.

Koki notice that Itachi's forehead and body were covered in sweat. How could he possibly sleep comfortably like that?

Koki carefully placed Itachi on the bed, covered him with a thin blanket, gently tidied the corners of the blanket, and after making sure her little brother was comfortable, Koki turned and left.

Just as Koki turned around, Itachi, seemingly in his sleep, also felt uneasy about his brother's departure, his brows furrowing slightly, revealing a silent reluctance.

After Koki returned with the water, he carefully picked up a towel, gently swayed it in the warm water, wrung it out, and meticulously wiped Itachi's body. He noticed that Itachi's forehead was covered in beads of sweat, so he wiped it several times to make sure Itachi felt comfortable.

Itachi's breathing was steady and deep, and his sleeping face revealed a rare sweetness. Koki's movements were so light that they were almost imperceptible, as if she was afraid of breaking the tranquility.

He gently wiped the itachi's arms and legs, taking away the day's dust and fatigue, and giving him a fresh and comfortable dream.

After wiping it down, Koki helped Itachi change into a clean set of pajamas. Once he was done, he sat quietly on the edge of the bed, gazing at his younger brother's peaceful sleeping face for a while. Then he got out of bed and turned off the light, plunging the entire room into darkness, with only faint moonlight streaming in through the window.

Using the faint moonlight, Koki returned to the bedside. He carefully climbed onto the bed, trying not to make any noise so as not to disturb his younger brother.

Itachi gently nuzzled Koki's shoulder, a reassuring smile curving his lips, as if he had found a safe haven where he could let go of all his worries and fears.

Sunlight streamed through the gaps in the curtains, falling on Koki's face and awakening him from his slumber. He rubbed his sleepy eyes, slowly opened them, and looked at the familiar and cozy environment in the room.

He slept exceptionally well, as if he had escaped all his worries and stress, and his body and mind had been fully relaxed and restored. He stretched, feeling the comfort and ease in his body, and his heart was filled with joy and satisfaction.

Sitting up, Koki's gaze fell on the corner of the room, where Itachi was sitting upright, intently studying the scroll in his hands, his cute brows slightly furrowed, as if he were pondering the secrets on the scroll.

Wow, my little brother is so hardworking!

"Good morning, Itachi," Koki greeted softly, breaking the silence of the room.

Itachi looked up at the Koki, a hint of joy flashing in his eyes, "Brother, you're finally awake. It's already noon."

Koki smiled and nodded. "Yes, I slept really well. What are you looking at?"

Itachi shook his head slightly. "It's nothing, brother, just some trivial things."

Koki got up and walked over to Itachi's side, sitting down. He looked at the scroll in Itachi's hand, then flipped through the things next to it, finding they were all about Uchiha history. "Are you interested in these?" he asked, then added half-jokingly, "Ask me, I know all about these."

My brother knows everything about the ancestors of your Uchiha Clan.

Itachi remained silent, first nodding, then shaking his head.

"Itachi, what does this mean?" Koki asked, puzzled.

"Brother... I... I..." Itachi hesitated, unsure how to begin, struggling with whether he should reveal the dream to his brother, since he couldn't find his brother in that illusory world.

He was afraid that his brother would distance himself from him because of this dream, afraid that he would really become the monster in the dream, and even more afraid that his brother would not be in the dream.

"Itachi, you can tell your brother anything you want to say," Koki said encouragingly, holding Itachi's small hand.

"Brother, last night I dreamt that the Uchiha Clan's coup failed, and they were wiped out." Under Koki's shocked gaze, Itachi continued calmly, "The entire clan was exterminated, and all of this... was my doing."
