Lin Tian’s diary revelations alert Tongtian to threats against the Interception Sect, while Zhao Gongming and the Three Xiaos mistake Lin Tian’s ordinary habits for the actions of a powerful Sage. The arc ends with Lin Tian agreeing to hear the sisters’ cultivation questions, still believing he is an ordinary villager.

• Lin Tian received the Great Dao Diary System and wrote that Long-Eared Dingguang Immortal would betray the Interception Sect, prompting Tongtian to find the diary and confirm the traitor’s identity.
• Tongtian killed Long-Eared Dingguang Immortal, while Lin Tian mastered the Primordial Grand Dao True Scripture and advanced his cultivation through daily practice.
• Tongtian read further diary entries warning that the Six Attendant Immortals and Duobao might join the Western Teachings, then summoned the sect disciples and began preparing for the Investiture of the Gods Calamity.
• Jieyin and Zhunti planted a Buddhist prayer bead with Duobao, hoping to draw him toward Buddhism, while Zhao Gongming encountered Lin Tian and mistook his tea and wooden qin for signs of profound guidance and power.
• Zhao Gongming brought the Three Xiaos to meet Lin Tian, who unknowingly kept Yazi in his courtyard after the dragon prince swallowed a Sea-Calming Divine Pearl and was weakened by Lin Tian’s surroundings.
• Lin Tian tried to stew Yazi, but Yazi drained the cauldron and failed to escape the courtyard’s powerful barrier, and Lin Tian then tied him to the fence, thinking he was a husky.
• When Yunxiao asked Lin Tian to guide the Three Xiaos in cultivation, Lin Tian refused at first, believing he knew little, but agreed to hear their questions after mistaking their disappointment for financial hardship.

Lin Tian’s ordinary gifts and books gave Duobao and the Three Xiaos unexpected paths to study, while Tongtian uncovered Western influence within the Interception Sect. The Three Xiaos left with books for themselves and Zhao Gongming, and the Western Sages moved toward the sect.

• Yunxiao gave Lin Tian black scissors before Tongtian summoned her, Bixiao, Qiongxiao, and Zhao Gongming back to Biyou Palace, where Tongtian accused six Attendant Immortals of betraying the Interception Sect and ordered an investigation for more Western pawns.
• Tongtian read the Great Dao Diary’s predictions that the Interception Sect would be targeted in the Investiture of the Gods, Duobao would betray it, and four hostile Sages would threaten his formation, then went to investigate Duobao.
• Duobao followed a trace of Buddhist intent to Lin Tian’s courtyard, traded his Buddhist bead for Buddha Is the Dao, and discovered that Lin Tian’s fish soup strengthened his primordial spirit before offering him an Innate Spiritual Treasure axe.
• Tongtian examined Duobao’s primordial spirit and Buddha Is the Dao, warned him to study the book or have his primordial spirit cleansed, and recognized Zhunti and Jieyin approaching in disguise.
• Yunxiao, Bixiao, and Qiongxiao visited Lin Tian, read Covering the Heavens with One Hand, and gained insights before asking to borrow it, which Lin Tian allowed.
• Yunxiao gave Lin Tian six more Sea-Calming Divine Pearls for Zhao Gongming, and Lin Tian sent Perfect World back with her for Gongming to read.
