• Han Feng Yang settled at Yangyuan Peak, while Chen Yang escorted four Yang Clan children toward Xi Yan Immortal Mansion and Luo Qianchou planned to interrogate a captured Demon Soil cultivator.
• At Xi Yan Immortal Mansion, Chen Huai'an drew Lin Ximing to a water-art duel that ended in a draw, and the Yang Clan children concealed their identities as they prepared for the Great Five Elements Secret Realm.
• The Five Directions Immortal Mansion revived the Five Elements phenomenon, and Lin Qiao, Yang Yuanling, Chen Huai'an, and Yang Yuanzhao entered their assigned Secret Realms with guidance from Chen Yang.
• Yang Lingrui subdued an evil relic with Ling Shuang’s help, returned to Fuyao Sect, and fused two divine winds into Candle Firmament after his contest with Nie Ancheng.
• Nie Wuchen and the Fuyao Sect elders approved Yang Lingrui and Yun Xiwu’s union, and the sect agreed to an alliance with the Dongfang Clan and the Northwest Yang Clan.
• In the Fire Dao Secret Realm, Long Yan entered a lava pool searching for Yang Yuanzhao, became trapped beneath a barrier, and was rescued by Yang Yuanzhao.
• Yang Yuanzhao asked Long Yan to help lure out the spiritual earthflame fire breath, promised not to abandon him, and gave him a Water Dao robe to withstand the pool’s heat.

The Yang Clan cultivators helped unlock the Five Elements Immortal Peak, while Wu Xingqiu and Xuan Youli each overcame perilous trials. As Chen Yang confronted Wu Chang and conflict between the two paths intensified, Yang Yuanhong emerged from the Dragon Tomb with two advancements and news of impending war.

• Yang Yuanzhao and Long Yan drew Earthflame fire essence from the pool, and cultivators across the Secret Realms unlocked all five wonders to form the Five Elements Immortal Peak.
• The four Yang Clan members discovered that failed mountain trials consumed real lifespan, and Wu Xingqiu continued risking his life until he broke through the Fire Dao barrier and completed the five trials.
• Chen Yang stopped Wu Chang from using the Dao Stone of Conferment to stir his greed, punished him, and warned him against future disloyalty.
• Bai Di delayed his plans while Wu Chang recovered, and the Azure Flame Demon Venerable revealed that his lifespan was nearly exhausted before the Myriad Corpses Demon Lord accepted a battle assignment.
• Xuan Youli defeated the Meishan sword cultivators and entered a rock wall to undergo true-fire nirvana, while Chen Huai'an kept other cultivators from disturbing her.
• Chen Huai'an won Wen Hui's Dao discussion, and Xuan Youli emerged from nirvana and gave Yang Yuanzhao and Long Yan a wisp of True Fire each.
• Yu Shuang, Yang Yuanling, and Mu Yunshu identified the Five Elements Dharma Disc as a force draining three cultivators and began arranging the Five Elements Baptism to save them.
• Yang Yuanhong spent more than eight hundred days in the Dragon Tomb, advanced twice by refining the ancient dragon's heart and a Gu shell, and learned that the conflict between the two paths was nearing all-out war.

As the war escalated across the Central and Southwest regions, Bai Di and Wu Chang opened a route for demonic forces to enter the Northwest. Gu Wuwei and the Heaven-Measure Sect disciples encountered the first signs of the incursion, and the Demon Extermination Squad’s resistance was overwhelmed as more demons approached.

• Yang Yuanhong entered the Dragonkin Forbidden Ground to cultivate after Hai Liu'er gave him the Eye-Pointing Formula and the Ancient Dragon Horn’s guidance.
• Baili Fusang and Shen Yue led a covert squad to ambush Qi Han, but Qi Han escaped their attacks by unleashing his Hundred Poisons technique.
• The five demon lairs merged with the Vast Sea Demonic Land, bringing thirty-six Demonic Path Venerables and nearly four hundred True Intent Cultivators into the war.
• The Azure Flame Demon Venerable began his tribulation during the fighting, and his Azure Flame Demonfire spread across the Demon Soil and reached the spatial barrier.
• Gu Wuwei investigated demonic cultivators in the Wild Forest, then stayed behind to confront one as Chang Yishan and his fellow disciple fled to seek help.
• Chang Yishan reported the danger to the Demon Extermination Squad, whose forces mobilized after receiving black-alert messages about a threat to the entire Northwest.
• Wu Chang stabilized a spatial passage, and Bai Di sent a demonic vanguard into the Northwest, expecting to take the region within three months.
• The demonic vanguard defeated the righteous cultivators waiting in ambush, killing all twenty Core Formation cultivators, and the spatial channel stirred again.

The Demonic Path invaded the Northwest, where Yang Lingshu and the allied forces fought to hold the front as reinforcements arrived. Yang Lingqing’s tactics turned the tide, but Yang Lingshu faced a final assault from four Demon Children when scorching heat appeared overhead.

• Dong Ruoyin, Huo Yuan, and the Beast King Shrine ancestor organized warnings and evacuations as Chen Yang alerted the Yang Clan to Wu Chang and Bai Di’s attack.
• The Dongfang Clan, Fuyao Sect, and cultivators from the Southwest prepared to reinforce the Northwest, while the righteous forces assigned six main attackers to pursue the Demon Children.
• Demonic cultivators advanced through the Northwest, and the northern front collapsed as they seized a quarter of the region and used mortals to recover between battles.
• Yang Lingshu joined the central camp, then killed two Demon Children through deception and his water-and-wood arts while helping rescue Xuan Zhou, Mo Xian, and Xiao Yize.
• The Northwest withdrew after heavy casualties, but the Yang Clan and Venerable Shuying’s Fuyao Sect set out to reinforce it as the Demonic Path launched another major assault.
