Yang Lingrui and Yang Linghu survived deadly trials in separate treasure lands, but Yang Linghu died on the journey home and Yang Lingrui returned to take up the family’s responsibilities. The Yang Family mourned him, received rewards, and began strengthening Pine Mountain while Chen Yang pursued a lightning talisman.

• Gu Zhengyuan warned Yang Lingrui about the Mayfly Treasure Land and helped him and Yang Linghu’s group prepare to enter their respective secret lands.
• Yang Lingrui joined the Feng Family, harvested Mayfly Essence, gained the Mayfly Phantom Clone Art, and killed Wang Weiming after they were drawn into an illusion array.
• Yang Linghu discovered a monster emerging in the Black Snake Secret Treasure, organized Rogue Cultivators against it, and killed Dou Hong with Mountain-Splitting Talismans.
• After leaving the secret land, Yang Linghu sacrificed himself to save Zhao Qi and Liang Yi from a moonbeam, while Yang Lingqing sensed his death at the family ancestral hall.
• Yang Lingrui fought off a Blood Feather Hall cultivator, then learned from Zhao Qi that Yang Linghu had died and carried his brother’s remains home.
• The Yang Family received commendations and rewards, Yang Lingrui reached the Seventh Level of Qi Gathering, and Wu Tong gave birth to Yang Yuanhong.
• The family mourned Yang Linghu, received support from the Dynasty and the He Family, and selected Yang Lingshu as its Myriad Transformation Sect Direct Disciple candidate.

The Yang Family strengthened its position by protecting the South Bank, recruiting the Huang Family, and testing its children while Yang Lingrui entered the Dynasty’s martial selection. The selection ended with Ye Lan and Li Qingwan winning top places, as Li Yuande began his painful demonstration of Essence Condensation.

• Yang Lingqing recruited Liu Zihao as the Yang Family’s formation master, and Yang Lingrui killed two attackers sent after him.
• Liu Zihao designed five formations that protected the Yang Family’s lands during the drought, and Yang Lingqing made the Huang Family a vassal in return for formations.
• Yang Lingrui, Yang Lingshu, and Lü Fangxuan departed for their respective cultivation paths as the Dynasty’s border campaign devastated other cultivators.
• Yang Lingrui arrived in Chongtian City and entered the martial selection, where Su Lingyun placed a bounty on him and Yang Lingrui killed the hunters who pursued him.
• Yang Lingshu revealed his Water Wood Double Resonance and joined Elder Mo, while Yang Lingqing tested the Yang Family’s children and found Yang Liu and Dai Wei had complete Qi Meridians.
• Zhou Qing and his accomplices attacked the South Bank, but Chen Yang and the Yang Family’s defenses stopped them, and the family began organizing villages and monthly mountain worship.
• Yang Lingrui placed seventh in the illusory realm selection, while Ye Lan placed first and Li Qingwan second, and Su Lingyun ordered Old Qin to bring Ye Lan to him.
• Li Yuande demonstrated true essence tempering before the young cultivators, repeatedly shattering and restoring his limbs before beginning to condense an Origin Core.

The Yang Family grew stronger as Chen Yang passed on Li Yuande’s cultivation insights, while Yang Guanfeng and Ying Xuan endured the border war and Ying Xuan sacrificed herself to protect Tiger Chasing. Yang Lingrui received the Yellow Wind Dao inheritance at Chengtian Academy and arrived at Daoyuan Mountain as the Two Sects Grand Competition began under the shadow of an unexpected visit.

• Li Yuande destroyed his body to advance through Ghost Transformation, drove back his attackers, and was struck down by Consort Xi as his intent escaped and reached Yang Lingrui.
• Chen Yang shared Li Yuande’s cultivation insights, helping Yang Lingqing and other Yang Family cultivators advance while Elder Yu began closed-door cultivation.
• Yang Guanfeng and Han Wang swore loyalty to the Dynasty and escorted Princess Yingxuan to the eastern border, where they fought through increasingly costly battles.
• After Eastern Wilderness pursuers cornered them, Ying Xuan revealed her identity, gave Yang Guanfeng her Golden Jade Hairpin, and killed herself to prevent the enemy from exploiting her body.
• Chen Yang strengthened himself with the Yang Family’s prayer power, broke through the barrier above him, and formally named Yang Liu as Yang Yuanliu.
• At Chengtian Academy, Yang Lingrui touched the Enlightenment Stone, overcame his fear of a foretold death, and received the Yellow Wind Dao Tradition inheritance, revealing his true face to the gathered cultivators.
• Yang Lingrui refined the Yellow Wind Treasure Bead and reached the peak of the Ninth Level, while Consort Xi summoned Li Qingwan to the palace to pursue the Soldier Path.
• Yang Lingrui and the other visitors arrived at Daoyuan Mountain for the grand competition, where an enormous interrealm immortal boat appeared and Ding Xiu announced the arrival of disciples from three Northwest sects.

After Tiger Chasing won the Perfect Battle, the Dynasty prepared for war against the Eastern Wilderness. Yang Lingshu joined the eastern campaign while Yang Lingrui’s breakthrough and victories at Juhe Pass helped drive Tiger Chasing’s advance.

• Ding Xiu accepted Jia Huarai’s restriction on entry to Daoyuan Mountain, and the ensuing contests saw Lü Fangxuan, Yang Lingshu, and Qi Wei defeat their challengers before Chu Hao lost to Yu Tingzhi and Zi He defeated her.
• Tiger Chasing and the Northwest Four Sects settled their rivalry through a five-match Perfect Battle, which He Shenglai, Tang Ming, Qiu Ran, Lang Wuhen, and Shen Yue won for Tiger Chasing.
• Jia Huarai announced that Princess Murong Ying Xuan and her protector had been killed by the Eastern Wilderness, and the Emperor called Tiger Chasing’s cultivators to war.
• Yang Lingqing learned that Yang Guanfeng was missing in the east, while Yang Lingshu returned with Yang Lingrui and Lü Fangxuan and accepted that Wei Xinqing was his intended marriage partner.
• Yang Lingshu and Wei Xinqing grew close as Yang Lingqing trained Yang Yuanhong, and Yang Lingrui broke through to become the Yang Family’s first Perfected Cultivator.
• Yang Lingshu and Yang Lingrui joined the eastern campaign, where He Shenglai assigned them to mobile squads and took Yang Lingrui to defend Juhe Pass.
• Yang Lingrui used his yellow wind to kill the Eastern Wilderness attackers at Juhe Pass, including a Thousand Blades Palace Direct Disciple, and killed the remaining disciples after they surrendered.
• He Shenglai identified the attackers’ weapon manifestations as belonging to Thousand Blades Palace, while Tiger Chasing advanced eighteen hundred li and Yang Lingrui’s reputation spread fear among Eastern Wilderness soldiers.
