After reaching Spiritual Connection, Shen Yue parted from Yang Lingrui, who uncovered a Demon Child’s murder and joined the Wind Chasing Ceremony to help expose the killer. Yang Lingrui’s screening trapped Bai Sanli among the suspects, and he entered the Wind Cavern with him as a hidden hook.

• Shen Yue endured his Lightning Tribulation and shattered its final Thunder and Fire strike, attaining Spiritual Connection before parting ways with Yang Lingrui to pursue his own Dao.
• Yang Lingrui and Ning Jiu traced a crimson wind remnant to a Demon Child who had killed Ning Jiu’s Junior Brother and planned to target prodigies at the Wind Chasing Ceremony.
