What Phrolova's Noodles Looked Like
When Kexi first saw Phrolova's genitals, she was very surprised. They were so dark and looked dirty, even disgusting. Especially the two wrinkled, dark, and greasy-looking pieces of flesh.
Phrolova could see the changes in his expression clearly.
A faint blush rose to her ears, and a rare hint of unease flashed across her face.
Don't make that face.
She turned her face away slightly, her voice harsh.
This is the first time I've let someone see my genitals.
"I got nervous and put in too much soy sauce; this isn't how beef noodles are supposed to be."
Kexi's eyes twitched after hearing this. He picked up his chopsticks and poked around in the bowl. The two blackened slices of meat looked like two pieces of old tree bark, and they trembled as he poked them.
"Your cooking skills are really nothing to write home about." He put down his chopsticks, his tone full of admiration. "Even if you wanted to harm me, you didn't have to make it so obvious, did you?"
Phrolova's face turned cold, his gaze capable of piercing Floro's cheek. "What do you mean?"
Kexi leaned back in her chair, her smile utterly irritating, "I think if you were hiding drugs in 13, you might have a chance. Looking at yourself like this, even a dog would kowtow to you."
"What did you say!" Phrolova was so angry that she grabbed the soup spoon next to her and was about to hit him on the head.
Luna suddenly appeared out of nowhere and grabbed Phrolova's wrist. She looked at Phrolova with obvious displeasure in her voice.
"Chef Fu, didn't I teach you how to speak to the young master?"
Phrolova struggled, but couldn't break free. She glared at Luna, her beautiful eyes practically spitting fire.
Luna glared back at her, her other hand still resting on Phrolova's spoon handle, refusing to budge.
"Apologize," Luna said.
Phrolova gritted her teeth. She had lived for hundreds of years and had never been treated like this before, except for the time she was forced to smell chicken droppings.
"Hurry up," Luna urged, her voice light and airy at the end.
"What, do I have to discipline you all over again?"
These words were like a needle, piercing precisely where Phrolova's sore spot lay.
She recalled the scenes of being "trained" by Luna, the clothes that would be thrown in the trash but then found and folded again, and the endless humiliation methods in that "Luna Special Training".
She clenched her fists, her nails digging into her flesh, and the wound on her palm that had recently been cut by shards reopened, but she still managed to squeeze out two words through gritted teeth.
"Sorry."
Kexi was completely mesmerized by Phrolova's adorable behavior.
As Phrolova turned back to the kitchen to make noodles again, he pulled Luna aside, lowered his voice, and asked with barely concealed curiosity, "Luna, what happened? What did you do? Why is she afraid of you but not me?"
Luna smiled sweetly, her face completely innocent. "Young Master, it's nothing. Training newcomers is Luna's duty, as long as you're satisfied."
Kexi leaned even closer, her eyes shining like she'd discovered a new continent. "Then teach me, what should I do if she misbehaves?"
"That's easy."
Luna tiptoed and whispered something in Kexi's ear.
Kexi's eyes grew brighter and brighter as she listened, until she finally stood up straight.
"Holy crap! Luna, are you crazy? Does your sister know?"
Luna put her index finger to her lips. "Shh! Young master, this is a secret. Don't tell anyone."
"Haha, okay. I'll try it out tonight and see if it really works."
"Young master, remember to hand over any new recruits to Luna for training next time."
"Definitely, definitely." Kexi patted her chest.
"Oh, right." Luna seemed to remember something, a hint of tattling creeping into her expression. "When Phrolova was making noodles for the young master today, she stomped on his dough quite hard. Luna asked her if she had some secret technique, but she wouldn't tell."
"What?! There's actually such a thing?" Kexi's voice rose two octaves, her face filled with shock.
Just then, Phrolova came over carrying a bowl of fresh noodles.
Upon seeing this, Kexi's lips curled into a smile.
"Luna, you can go down now."
"Yes."
Luna obediently followed instructions.
As I passed by Phrolova, I hummed softly.
Phrolova placed the bowl in front of Kexi, the bottom of the bowl making a crisp sound as it hit the table.
"Eat," she said, her tone so cold it could freeze hot soup.
Kexi raised an eyebrow. "What's your attitude?"
"That's my attitude." Phrolova stuck out her neck, not even looking at him.
"Okay then." Kexi leaned back lazily, drawing out her words, "Then I'll call Luna over."
"No." Phrolova's pupils contracted, and she spoke almost instinctively.
A victorious smile appeared on Kexi's face, "Hmph, apologize."
"You!!"
"What do you mean, 'you'?! Remember who you are now!"
Phrolova's nails dug into her palms again, but after struggling for two seconds, she lowered her head and said, "I'm sorry."
That's more like it.
Kexi then sat up straight and began to carefully examine the bowl of noodles in front of him. He looked at it for a moment, then sniffed it to make sure there was nothing wrong before slowly picking up his chopsticks.
He picked up a few noodles, but instead of putting them in his own mouth, he held them to Phrolova's lips.
"Um... you eat first."
Phrolova glanced at him sideways, her voice cold and hard. "Don't think that I'll be grateful to you just because you're putting on a show of charity."
"Oh, you misunderstood." Kexi's expression was even more serious than hers. "I was afraid you might have poisoned it."
"You!" Phrolova was so angry that his chest heaved violently, and veins popped out on his forehead.
"Hurry up, my hand is getting tired."
She glared at him fiercely, but seeing that he showed no intention of taking back his chopsticks, she could only take a step forward and slurp up a large mouthful of noodles with his chopsticks. Her posture was fierce and ruthless, as if she wanted to devour the entire bowl.
Kexi raised an eyebrow and suddenly shouted, "Shut up!"
Kexi swiftly pulled the noodles out of her mouth, then stuffed them into her own mouth, puffing out her cheeks and chewing twice.
"Actually."
He mumbled, his expression a mixture of satisfaction and smugness, "I mainly want to eat imported ramen."
Phrolova was taken aback at first, then realized what he meant, and his face instantly turned bright red.
She was both ashamed and angry, her finger trembling as she pointed at Kexi: "You! You--"
Kexi wiped her mouth and gave her a victorious smile, "It tastes good, just a bit salty. Use less soy sauce next time."
"Hmph." Phrolova crossed his arms and gave a soft hum.
It should be salty; she just spat into it.
This idiot knows nothing and yet he's eating so heartily.
You idiot, go eat her saliva.
