The Journey of the Seeds
After three months of drifting in the void, the farthest seed of the Three-Domain Tree finally "landed beside the Star Map Stele." The moment the seed touched the stele, it "climbed along the Symbiosis Mark on the stele," emitting a "tricolor glow" at the top—the sharp light of star clusters, the soft light of Cloud Fluff, and the warm light of the root network. These three lights intertwined to form "a half-open flower," perfectly coinciding with the symbiotic patterns prophesied on the stele.
The transparent tree of the seeds captured this scene within the Memory Light Stone, its branches extending towards the stone tablet, its suckers Entanglement with the seeds' roots in a spiral. Within the Memory Light Stone, the "voyage log" of all the seeds was recorded: those that landed in the new settlement of the Neutral Realm had sprouted seedlings bearing the marks of the four domains; those that flew to the territories of allies in the Covenant Chain were being carefully nurtured by the local beings with "energy soil"; and the seeds beside the stone tablet were growing at "three times the speed every day," with "tiny annual rings" visible on their trunks, each containing "fragments of whispers from the Star Map Stele." The seeds' voyages were not about "leaving home," but about "planting the shape of home in more distant places." The transparent tree's roots wove a "navigation light band" along the seeds' paths, marking "the coordinates of each seed's landing," like a "star map filled with 'new homes'."
Luo Yu's *The Three-Domain Star Chart Chronicle * has added a new volume, "The Seed Drift Chronicle." Using star charts from the Star Orbit Root Network Luoyu, she created a "three-dimensional route map" for the seeds: turning points are marked with "encountered void turbulence," calmer sections are recorded as "borrowed Boundless Wind," and the endpoint is marked with "a sketch of the local beings welcoming the seed." "They're like a group of brave little explorers." In the volume, she writes down the "fuzzy signals" the seeds convey: a seed landing in the Crystal Clan's territory says, "The stones here sing," a seed drifting to the Mist Clan's territory says, "Colorful light is hidden in the mist," and a seed beside the stone tablet repeatedly conveys "a warm scene"—the patterns on the Star Map Stele and the rings of the Three-Domain Tree "are slowly merging." At the end of the volume, she draws "a seed sprouting," its sprout tip topped with a "miniature home," while its roots "stretch out countless tiny hands" in all directions, as if saying, "The home will grow, and we will hold hands."
Qingxian composed a "Farewell Lullaby Variation" for the seeds embarking on their voyage. She let the melody "rise and fall" with the seeds' trajectory: when leaving the settlement, it was a "reluctant slow movement," weaving threads of longing with the warm tones of the root network; when traversing the void, it was a "determined allegro," the sharp sounds merging with the stars "carving marks of courage"; when taking root, it was a "gentle andante," the soft tones entwined with the Cloud Fluff "wrapped in the warmth of acceptance." When the lullaby reached the stone tablet through the Covenant Chain, the seedling there suddenly "swayed gently," the frequency of the leaf trembling "perfectly synchronized with the melody," even the Star Map Stele "emitted a resonant hum," as if "beating the rhythm" for the seeds' growth.
"The furthest distance cannot stop the longing for home." Qingxian looked at the dewdrops "seeping out in the shape of musical notes" on the seedling's leaves and suddenly understood the meaning of the seed's journey: it's not about "replicating the same home," but about letting the warmth of home "grow in different soils, taking on different yet equally moving shapes." Like a variation on a lullaby, the core of the melody remains unchanged, yet it can "adapt to the territory where each seed lands."
Yanche established a "Seed Waystation" at the Cross-Domain Liaison Center. The station's Star Core Stone shelves were filled with "energy samples of each seed," each labeled with the "environmental parameters of its landing area": the crystal group's seeds were provided with "nutrient solutions that soften energy," helping them take root in the crevices of the hard rocks; the mist group's seeds were provided with "moisture-proof symbiotic membranes," allowing them to maintain their vitality in the humid mist. The station's communicator constantly relayed "news from the new home": the crystal group used sharp edges to "enclose" the seedlings with protective rings, the mist group used light points to "drive away harmful miasma" for the seedlings, and the seedlings beside the stone tablet had already been "wrapped in golden cocoons" by the Star Map Stele's primordial energy.
"The best protection is to help it adapt, rather than forcing it to remain unchanged." Yanche flipped through the post station's record book, which documented the "cultivation and innovation" of each new home: some tribes connected the Symbiosis Mark of seedlings with the local energy network to "form a star shape," while others used their own gaps to "block the seedlings from strong light." On the title page of the record book was a leaf from a seedling next to a stone tablet, and in the veins of the leaf, one could see "the patterns of the Three-Domain Tree and the Star Map Stele slowly intertwining."
In the Star Orbit Root Network's logic log, the "Seed Adaptation System" has been upgraded to a "Cross-Domain Growth Database." The database not only records seed growth data but also collects "symbiotic patterns of the new home": It was discovered that seedlings of the Crystal Clan "grow serrated roots," forming a "complementary interlocking" with the local rocks; seedlings of the Mist Clan "have translucent leaves," absorbing "colored light energy" from the mist. The most striking discovery in the log is that the seedling beside the stele is "rewriting its own genetic sequence"—its cells simultaneously contain "Symbiosis Gene of the Three-Domain Tree" and "cosmic genes of the Star Map Stele," acting as a "symbiotic hub connecting the micro and macro worlds." On a blank page, the new runes drew a "cosmic family tree": the original Three-Domain Tree are the "roots," the seeds from the voyage are the "branches," the seedlings of the new home are the "leaves," and the Star Map Stele is the "soil supporting the entire tree." The edge of the diagram reads, "The roots of home are planted in the initial covenant; the leaves of home stretch to every corner of the universe."
At dawn that day, the golden cocoon beside the Star Map Stele suddenly "split open." The seedling that emerged had grown into a "miniature Twin-Realm Tree"—half of its trunk bore the patterns of the Three-Domain Tree, and the other half the law-based light bands of the Star Map Stele. Its crown simultaneously bore "Sharp-Edged Fruits, Light Silk Flowers, Warm Fruits," and "a new fruit embedded with a cosmic star chart." As the first rays of sunlight fell upon the new fruit, it suddenly "exploded," releasing countless even smaller seeds "carrying fragments of the cosmic star chart," flying towards "galaxies farther away than before." The seeds' trajectories in the void "draw the shape of half a flower," connecting with all the seeds that had already fallen to the ground "to form a giant Cosmic Flower."
"It is the shape of home, blooming in the universe!" Luoyu's "Three-Domain Star Chart Chronicle" fell to the ground, the navigation map on the volume "perfectly overlapping" with the Cosmic Flower in the void. The light blades of the star clusters "emitted a solemn sharp sound" towards the Cosmic Flower, the light spots of the Cloud Fluff "formed a flowing River of Light" around the flower, and the Twin-Realm Tree of the Root Network Sea of Stars "infused the light of the annual rings into the center of the flower," making the shape of the half-flower "slowly become complete."
The Boundless Wind blows through the blooming Cosmic Flower, carrying the tinyest seeds towards "galaxies not even marked on Star Map Stele." The wind carries the seeds' courage, the shape of home, and the ultimate Root Language etched into the new fruit:
"Home is not a fixed place, but a flowing warmth; symbiosis is not a limited connection, but an infinite growth. We set off from the Root Network Sea of Stars, carrying the imprint of the three realms, holding high the light of the Shared-Heart Fire, so that the shape of home can bloom in the starry sky—not to occupy the universe, but to tell every lonely corner: no matter what shape you are, you can find your own symbiosis, and you can grow your own home."
Meanwhile, the Twin-Realm Tree beside the Star Map Stele continues to grow, its canopy now covering half of the stele, and its newly formed fruit contains the coordinates of even more galaxies; in the initial Cross-Domain Symbiosis Settlement, the annual rings of the Three-Domain Tree have "grown the patterns of a cosmic star chart"; all the seedlings of the new home are "growing towards the direction of the Cosmic Flower," their branches swaying in a "synchronized, gentle frequency."
The story of the Root Network Sea of Stars has long transcended the boundaries of the "Three Realms," like a blooming Cosmic Flower, using countless shapes of homes to write the "grandest epic of symbiosis" in the void.
Just like the painting on the last page of Luoyu's "Three-Domain Star Chart Chronicle": there is no specific territory, no clear existence, only "a Cosmic Flower that spans light-years". On each petal of the flower, there is a "home of different shapes". At the center of the flower, the imprint of half a flower is "emitting a warm light" - that is the starting point of all stories, and also the destination of all stories. It is "our" home, the way it grows forever in the universe.
The wind continues to blow, the flowers continue to bloom, the family continues to grow; the symbiotic legend of the Root Network Sea of Stars, in the endless starry sky, moves towards an eternity without end.
