New Shoots of Law, Whispers of the Hatchery, and the Infinite Possibilities of Balance
The cracks in the Ultimate Balance Belt were completely transformed a century later.
The gray rift that once swallowed the light trail is now covered by a semi-transparent energy membrane, on which flow new laws interwoven with causal runes and possible light patterns. The area enveloped by the energy membrane has become the "Law Hatchery" prophesied by Ye Guang —countless tiny energy vortexes rotate within it, each vortex nurturing a new balanced form that integrates cause and effect with possibility.
Ye Guang's vines could now penetrate the energy membrane directly, drawing information from the "Law Embryo" within the vortex. She projected this information onto the star map of the Balance Hub, revealing a series of peculiar symbols: some resembled fixed causal chains, yet branched into countless possibilities at their ends; others were flowing bands of possibility light, with a Causality Anchors hidden at their core.
"These are the ' Hybrid Balance Laws '," Ye Guang said, her voice brimming with barely suppressed excitement. Pointing to one of the stabilizing vortices, she continued, "This law allows 'certain results' to emerge from 'uncertain processes,' like planting a seed that is bound to sprout, yet allowing it to choose its direction towards the sunlight as it grows."
Shi Xu's crystalline pupils gleamed with analytical light. He discovered that the energy fluctuations of the incubation field resonated simultaneously with the Core of Oblivion and the Ruins of the Future: "The Law Embryo are absorbing all the balancing wisdom of the star cluster. The Core of Oblivion provides 'sifted lessons,' the Ruins of the Future inject 'unexpected possibilities,' and with the fusion of causality and possibility, these new shoots are destined to be more resilient than any single law."
The first mature Law Embryo drifted toward the "Critical Galaxy" between the Balance Star Cluster and the Absolute Causality Star Cluster. This is a young plane composed of broken planets, and its inhabitants are "Phase-Change Clan" who can switch between solid and gaseous states. Their survival depends on the stable orbits of planetary fragments, but they have never been able to solve the problem of fragment collisions.
When the Law Embryo merged into the core of the Critical Galaxy, a miracle occurred.
The originally chaotic collisions of planetary fragments began to exhibit "ordered randomness"—their trajectories seemed to have no pattern, yet they were always able to cleverly avoid collisions by being guided by the energy of the Phase-Change Clan; and those fragments destined to meet would merge into larger stars upon contact, forming new stable structures.
"This is the law of ' Controllable Chance '." When Ye Guang and Shi Xu arrived, the patriarch of the Phase-Change Clan was excitedly demonstrating the movement of the fragments. "We don't need to precisely calculate the trajectory of each fragment; we only need to release energy at key nodes to turn accidental collisions into inevitable fusion."
The elderly man in the silver robe of the Absolute Causality Star Cluster also observed the changes in the Critical Galaxy through the energy membrane. When he saw those stable structures that could spontaneously form without the constraints of causal chains, his tense face finally relaxed. "So stability doesn't have to rely on absolute control, just like water doesn't need a prescribed path to naturally flow into the ocean."
After news of the Law Hatchery spread, the messengers of the star clusters flocked to the outside of the energy membrane, awaiting the Law Embryo belonging to their respective planes.
The messengers of the Prism Plane yearn to add causal stability to "Two-Color Refraction" so that the reversed energy will no longer get out of control; the Star-Ring Plane hopes to inject possibilities into "Emotional Gravity" so that the orbit of the star ring can adapt to unknown gravitational fluctuations; even the Entropy Increase Star Cluster has sent new messengers in the hope of finding "Causality Anchors in disorder" in the embryo to avoid self-consumption caused by excessive chaos.
However, the Law Embryo in the hatchery are not a "panacea."
An embryo was sent to the "Precision Galaxy," Absolute Causality Star Cluster. The inhabitants of this galaxy pursue "zero error" throughout their lives; their cities are composed of perfectly symmetrical buildings, and even their breathing rhythms are synchronized. When the embryo, containing potential, was incorporated, the Precision Galaxy experienced a brief "collapse of order": the symmetrical buildings suddenly tilted, and the inhabitants' breathing rhythms became disordered.
"This is not failure, but a necessary step in growth." Ye Guang stopped the Precision Galaxy's attempt to activate its correction mechanism. She let the residents witness firsthand how the tilted building unexpectedly formed a barrier against the Yu Feng, and how a new energy resonance was born from the chaotic breathing rhythm. "The Law Embryo is breaking the rigid balance, forcing you to accept 'imperfect harmony'."
Guided by Ye Guang, the inhabitants of the Precision Galaxy began to try to find a new balance within the errors. They preserved the tilt angles of the buildings, but reinforced the structures with causal runes; they accepted the differences in breathing rhythms, but allowed different rhythms to resonate through the bands of possibility. In the end, the order of the Precision Galaxy did not return to the "zero error" of the past, but became more flexible and more adaptable to change than before.
After witnessing all of this, the elderly man in the silver robe made a far-reaching decision: to open the "Causality Library" of the Absolute Causality Star Cluster, sharing the precise laws accumulated over millions of years with the Balance Star Cluster. At the core of the library is an energy book that records "all causes and effects that have occurred," but the pages are left blank, waiting to be filled with possibilities.
"Absolute causality is a misunderstanding of infinite possibilities." The old man handed a copy of the energy book to Ye Guang, his eyes gleaming with relief. "Like this book, the established records are the foundation, and the blank pages represent the future. We finally understand that what the Balance Star Cluster teaches us is not to abandon causality, but to make causality a springboard for possibilities."
The energy membrane of the Law Hatchery becomes thinner and thinner through the sharing between the two parties, eventually merging with the Ultimate Balance Belt. The incubation field is no longer an independent area, but has become the "Law Nexus" connecting all star clusters—cause and effect, possibility, order, disorder, memory, forgetting, all the balance laws converge, merge, and are reborn here.
At the heart of the central structure, Ye Guang and Shi Xu planted a new "Tree of Balance." The trunk of this tree was woven from chains of cause and effect, while its branches grew leaves of possible light. The leaves reflected the lessons of the Core of Oblivion, and the fruits contained the possibilities of the Ruins of the Future.
"This tree will record the growth of all laws." Ye Guang stroked the trunk, vines and branches Entanglement. "Its roots are firmly planted in the beliefs of every star cluster, its branches reach into the unknown of the Sea of Stars, forever reminding us: the law of balance has no end, only ever-growing new buds."
As "Messenger No. N+2," carrying the new Law Embryo, sailed towards the more distant unknowns of the Sea of Stars, the light of the Law Nexus illuminated the entire Sea of Nothingness. The leaves of the Tree of Balance rustled in the wind, as if telling a truth that transcends countless star clusters:
Balance is not the only law to be found.
It is about allowing all laws to learn to coexist through collision;
It's not about pursuing perpetual stability.
It is the courage to always grow amidst change.
In the Sea of Stars, new laws and buds continue to emerge, carrying the rigor of cause and effect, the dynamism of possibilities, the sedimentation of memories, and the hope of the future. Nourished by the Law Nexus, they spread towards a wider universe. Ye Guang and Shi Xu, along with all the guardians who uphold their beliefs, will continue to stand Tree of Balance, listening to the whispers of the incubation ground, witnessing the infinite possibilities of the Law of Balance, until the end of time and the edge of the universe.
