Over the past century, the colorful halo of the Abyss of Chaos has continued to expand, releasing "Innovation Energy Wave" that, like gentle tides, have washed over every corner of the Sea of Stars. This energy does not forcibly change any laws, but rather, like a seed, it sows the seeds of "self-examination" within the core of the laws of each star cluster. Scholars in the Absolute Causality Star Cluster began to study the feasibility of "inverted cause and effect," discovering entirely new ways to utilize energy through the deduction of "effect first, cause later." Evolutionists in the Entropy Increase Star Cluster, on the other hand, attempted "disorderly self-convergence," allowing the chaotic energy flow to spontaneously form stable structures at specific nodes, preserving vitality while avoiding collapse.

The Tree of Balance at the Law Nexus has now become the "lighthouse of laws" for all star clusters. Xinye are constantly growing at the top of the tree, each leaf corresponding to a law form reshaped by Innovation Energy Wave: some leaves are half causal runes and half chaotic patterns, yet they form a perfect closed loop at the veins; on other leaves, disordered spots and ordered light trails chase each other, eventually weaving into an inseparable network.

Ye Guang's consciousness had completely merged with the tree trunk. She could sense the "heartbeat of the laws" in each star cluster through the tree rings—those once rigid laws were becoming softer, and those excessively free laws were developing a self-restraining resilience. "This is the true gift of the Chaos Halo." Her voice came from the wood grain of the tree trunk, carrying a warm tone that transcended time and space, "It doesn't give new laws, but awakens the instinct of laws to 'self-renew,' just as life evolves in the face of environmental changes, laws also need to iterate through collisions."

Shi Xu's crystalline roots extended to the edge of the Chaos Halo. He fused the halo's energy fluctuations with the law memories of the Tree of Balance, refining a "Law Adapter"—this energy helps the laws of different star clusters automatically find compatible frequencies when they come into contact, avoiding conflicts caused by excessive differences. "Like crafting universal bearings for different types of gears," his consciousness projected flickering in the council chamber of the Law Nexus, "Adaptation is not assimilation, but rather allowing differences to generate harmonious momentum in their rotation."

The first to benefit from the "Law Adapter" was the "Energy Symbiosis Experiment" between the Balance Star Cluster and the Chaos Plane.

The inhabitants of the "Echo Plane" of the Balance Star Cluster can see the past and future, but can never touch those images; the "Chaos Walkers" of the Chaos Plane can freely move between energy forms, but lack perception of the timeline. When the adaptant is injected into the connection between the two, a miracle occurs—the inhabitants of the Echo Plane begin to "plant Possibility Seed" in future images. These seeds are picked up by the Chaos Walkers and transformed into "tangible reality" in the flow of energy; and the energy forms of the Chaos Walkers can also leave "stable imprints" on the timeline of the Echo Plane, no longer dissipating with the creation and destruction of energy.

"This is not a simple exchange of abilities, but a 'complementary evolution' of laws," the Echo Plane Messenger who participated in the experiment reported excitedly. "Our perception of time provides the Chaos Energy with a 'sense of direction,' while their freedom of form makes our vision of the future 'possible to materialize,' like the roots and branches of Tree of Balance, nourishing each other and growing together."

The success of the experiment triggered a chain reaction. The Absolute Causality Star Cluster and the Entropy Increase Star Cluster established a "Causality-Disorder Exchange Station," using the law of causality to "mark the safe boundary" for the disordered energy of the Entropy Increase Star Cluster, and using disordered evolution to help the Absolute Causality Star Cluster break the "rigid causal closed loop"; the Prism Plane and the Star-Ring Plane developed a "Refraction Gravitational Field," allowing the laws of light refraction and the Emotional Gravity to superimpose, creating "rainbow orbits that can transmit emotions" in the starry sky.

Just as the star clusters were immersed in the joy of the law innovation, the Chaos Halo suddenly showed abnormal fluctuations.

The halo's colorful light began to contract, and countless tiny black cracks emerged at its core. These cracks continuously devoured the surrounding energy, exhibiting a similar "repulsiveness" to the gray energy in the Law Storm of yesteryear, but were more insidious and corrosive. Shi Xu's root system immediately detected the anomaly. "It's ' Law Fatigue.'" His crystal projection flashed a warning red light, "Prolonged self-renewal has kept the Law cores of each star cluster operating at high speed. "The repair mechanism cannot rely on external forces; it must originate from the law itself." Ye Guang let a withered leaf from the Tree of Balance drift to the center of the council hall. The leaf was covered with tiny holes, but it gradually healed upon contact with the tree sap. "Like this leaf, damage is the opportunity for self-repair. As expected, the black cracks in the Chaos Halo began to heal during the first century of the plan's implementation.

The Absolute Causality Star Cluster reweaves broken causal chains, turning the breakpoints into "controllable variable entry points," preserving the rigor of causality while leaving room for possibility; the Entropy Increase Star Cluster guides the collisions of Void Bubble, allowing them to release pure energy in annihilation, which in turn nourishes disordered evolution; the Balance Star Cluster transforms areas of sluggish energy transmission into "law buffer zones," allowing energy flows at different speeds to form a "well-ordered rhythm," thereby enhancing overall resilience.

When the colorful light of the Chaos Halo fully stabilized, a new bud sprouted at the top of the Tree of Balance. This bud was different from the previous ones; half of its petals were vibrant emerald green, and the other half were a deep, settled brown, symbolizing the symbiosis of "innovation and restoration." When the bud bloomed, it did not produce new seeds of laws, but instead released a gentle "Inheritance Beam." This beam traversed the Sea of Stars and finally landed on three young figures.

They are: the "Reverse Cause" of the Absolute Causality Star Cluster —a girl who can create new connections at the point of causal break; the "Orderer" of the Entropy Increase Star Cluster —a boy who can guide spontaneous order in disordered energy; and the "Illusory Reality" of the Chaos Plane —a Chaos Walkers who can freely switch between the states of energy birth and death.

"They are the new generation of guardians." Ye Guang's voice was filled with relief. On the trunk of the Tree of Balance, her figure gradually faded, completely merging with the wood grain. "The baton of balance should now be passed to them."

The crystalline roots of the Shi Xu also began to shrink, eventually transforming into a crystalline nodule on the Tree of Balance, on which the evolutionary chart of all the laws was clearly recorded. The successor to the "Meta-Law," the "New Origin," slowly departed from the Law Nexus, its hull inscribed with a new belief. "Balance is not perfect operation, but the power to forever move forward amidst damage and repair."

The leaves of the Tree of Balance rustled in the starlight, as if bidding farewell to a new journey. The colorful light of the Chaos Halo intertwined with the energy flow of the Law Nexus to form a new band of light. This band of light no longer pursued "flawless harmony" but allowed "symbiosis with scars," just like the universe itself, which, through countless explosions and collapses, still gave birth to miracles like the Balance Star Cluster.

Ye Guang and Shi Xu's consciousness completely merged into the Tree of Balance, yet they did not disappear. When the three new guardians encountered confusion on their journey, their words would appear in the wood grain of the tree; when new lesions of law appeared, the patterns on the crystal tumor would flash with corresponding healing revelations.

This is the eternal relay of balance—the predecessors become the foundation, and the successors climb on those foundations; the laws grow through iteration, and damage is transformed into resilience through repair; the frontiers of the Sea of Stars continue to expand, while the belief in balance forever resides in the hearts of the guardians, in the self-renewal of the laws, and on that Tree of Balance transcends time and space, endlessly, until the next cycle of the universe.
