• Mu En named Xuan Zi the next Sea God's Pavilion Master, appointed Tang Wulin as his successor, and passed his Dragon Core inheritance to him before departing as a golden dragon.
• Tang Wulin stopped Huo Yutong from leaving, confessed his love, and watched her depart for the Sun Moon Royal Soul Engineer Academy after they promised to stay together.
• Tang Wulin told his friends that he was dating Huo Yutong, then revealed his Golden Dragon Spear and overwhelmed Xu Sanshi in a sparring match.
• Tang Wulin rejected Meng Hongchen’s advances, while she vowed to make him forget Huo Yutong and began following him around Shrek Academy.

Tang Wulin destroyed a Holy Spirit Cult branch, survived Yang Xiao’s attack with Huo Yutong’s help, and joined her in seeking allies and a way to strengthen himself. In the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well, they gained access to Tang San’s hidden knowledge, and a Gray-robed Elder offered a way for the Water-Fire Dragon Kings to follow Tang Wulin.

• Tang Wulin and Gongyang Mo freed the White-clothed Men from the Holy Spirit Cult’s altar, and Tang Wulin killed the Holy Spirit Elder after hearing his claim that Shrek had forced him to join.
• Huo Yutong was arrested after Wang Shaojie lured her away, while Ma Xiaotao was captured and mutated by Feng Ling, who planned to take her to Shrek.
• Yang Xiao attacked Tang Wulin, who killed him after the Golden Dragon King’s power overtook him, and Huo Yutong rescued Tang Wulin from nearby Soul Engineers.
• Old Tang told Tang Wulin to seek herbs at Sunset Forest and revealed that his greatest wish was for Tang Wulin to survive all the seals, then dissipated after helping save him.
• Tang Wulin and Huo Yutong met Vina and Long Aotian, sparred with them, and negotiated preliminary cooperation between Shrek Academy, the Body Sect, the Tang Sect, and the Heaven Dou Empire.

Tang Wulin gained the Dragon God’s power in Dragon Valley, but his return came nearly two years after Huo Yutong had believed him dead. He reunited with Huo Yutong at Sea God’s Fate, and they began repairing their relationship while confronting her fear of losing him again.

• Electrolux transformed the Water-Fire Dragon Kings into Tang Wulin’s Soul Spirits, strengthened Huo Yutong with new abilities and a Soul Spirit, and helped Tang Wulin create the Life Divine Realm to shelter the Immortal Herbs.
• Tang Wulin entered Dragon Valley with Xuan Zi, absorbed the Dragon Clouds and the Dragon God’s power, and survived the collapse of his seals with the Light Dragon King’s help.
• After the exit from Dragon Valley collapsed, Tang Wulin buried the dragon bones until the Light Dragon King sent him back to the outside world and asked him to find Little Hei and Little Bai.
• Believing Tang Wulin dead, Huo Yutong fell into despair, returned to Shrek Academy, and became distant and emotionally withdrawn.

Tang Wulin and Huo Yutong joined a hunt in the Star Dou Great Forest, where they uncovered the Zhongli Brothers’ scheme and helped Di Yun'er obtain a Soul Spirit. They returned to Shrek Academy with Di Yun'er's origins still uncertain, while Huo Yutong was sent to resume her Soul Tool work and Tang Wulin offered to show Xuan Ziwen his forging.

• Tang Wulin learned from Huo Yutong that they had gained divine consciousness and power, then discovered that Di Yun'er looked like him and had a Golden Dragon aura.
• At the Sea God's Pavilion, Tang Wulin recounted his journey through Dragon Valley, and he and Huo Yutong explained the Soul Spirit system to the elders.
• Cai Mei'er revealed that Di Yun'er's early-life records were blank and arranged for Tang Wulin and Huo Yutong to join a Group Soul Beast Hunt with her and other Shrek members.
• The hunting group entered the Star Dou Great Forest, where Tang Wulin and Di Yun'er helped capture an Azure Sea Spirit Ape and the group later fought off a troop of Blood Red Baboons.
• Di Yun'er explained that her Golden Dragon Spear came from her family's inheritance, leading Huo Yutong to suggest that Di Yun'er could be Tang Wulin's ancestor or come from another timeline.
• The group encountered the Zhongli Brothers, whom Huo Yutong identified as Evil Soul Masters, and discovered their plan to steal the newborn Cubs of a Darkgold Dreadclaw Bear.
• Tang Wulin and the Shrek members fought the Zhongli Brothers and the bears, killed the three Evil Soul Masters, and helped Huo Yutong bind the willing Female Darkgold Dreadclaw Bear to Di Yun'er as a Soul Spirit.
• After returning to Shrek Academy, Huo Yutong was ordered by Xuan Ziwen to resume her Soul Tool work, and Tang Wulin offered to demonstrate his forging technique.
