Entering the city
Zhang Xuezhou was extremely anxious before receiving a reply, but when he saw Song Fengying constantly waiting for the money to arrive, he felt that Song Fengying was relatively safe.
Zhang Xuezhou knew Song Fengying all too well.
Song Fengying simply enjoys chasing trending news, but Song Fengying's neither crazy nor stupid; she can be fearless to this extent.
"Could something be wrong with the giant moth?"
He was deep in thought, watching as the Turs and many councilors used pictures to try and pinpoint the giant moth's true location.
"The area affected by the giant moths' battle is extremely wide. Even if the giant moths don't find Mom for some reason, Mom still has to get out of there quickly, because there will be a range of over two hundred rockets bombarding them!"
Besides the inherent threat posed by giant moths, the threat of firearms is also very real.
Anyone who doesn't move more than ten miles away from the blast radius could be affected by the explosion.
The accuracy of rocket artillery has always been a problem; it's normal for more than ten out of two hundred rockets to miss. Leaving Leiata City is the safest course of action.
Zhang Xuezhou now only hopes that the person in charge of the funds in Tuer will act faster, so that Song Fengying won't waste time accumulating foreign exchange and escaping.
Zhang Xuezhou wrote a salutation and there was handwriting on it, so he was certain that Song Fengying would trust the information he sent and would leave if she could.
Zhang Xuezhou paced back and forth in the communications room for a long time, checking relevant numbers and even borrowing Turkalando's communicator to add Song Fengying as a friend.
The communication software of the Thousand Islands Alliance is completely different from that of the Scarlet Alliance State. Song Fengying adapted to local customs, while Zhang Xuezhou never paid attention to localization.
He randomly pressed buttons and tried to add the temporary number that Song Fengying was using.
To Zhang Xuezhou's surprise, he actually added it.
"The glorious paladin, ThurAndrew?"
Zhang Xuezhou frowned slightly at Song Fengying's contact name. Looking at the profile picture on the contact, Zhang Xuezhou wondered if Song Fengying had picked up Andrew's communication device.
"Does your Tuer religion have such a person?"
Zhang Xuezhou asked Turkalando in a low voice.
"This should be a paladin under the command of the Fourth Elder's Lineage. He seems to be their Lineage's chief paladin, belonging to the Fifth Sequence," Tulcarando replied after thinking for a moment after looking at the communication avatar.
"Andrew, after sending the behemoth's coordinates, leave Leiata City immediately. Our forces will be conducting area-of-effect artillery fire on that location!"
Zhang Xuezhou had Turkalando send a text message in the Thousand Islands Alliance, and then sent a multimedia message in the Scarlet Alliance State, after writing and taking a picture.
After telling Song Fengying the details, Zhang Xuezhou felt a little relieved.
He kept his eyes glued to the communicator, but to Zhang Xuezhou's slight disappointment, there was no response.
Nearly ten minutes later, a soft cheer rang out in the communications room, and Nagos and his men led their troops out in a rapid charge.
"Rocket artillery will conduct a wide-area strike on the target area in one hour. We need to get to Leiata City as quickly as possible and make sure to kill this beast!"
As Zhou Rihui rushed out, he quickly gave Zhang Xuezhou a brief instruction before hurriedly following after him.
Two hundred rockets simultaneously bombarded the target area; Zhou Xin would be blasted to ashes.
Even with an overestimation, many people believed that the ferocious beast would be seriously injured, if not killed.
The next step is to clean up the mess.
Even the most useless ferocious beasts have some valuable items on them, and many people hurry along partly to kill the beasts, and partly to try and pick up some bargains.
Naggs likely also wants to find ways to verify the coordinates sent by the Adventists.
"Saati, shall we go?"
After the group rushed out, got into the truck, and sped away, Turkalando looked around before quietly asking Zhang Xuezhou.
"You stay here, I can borrow your car and communicator," Zhang Xuezhou said.
You're going without me!
"I'm not afraid of toxic powder, but you are!"
Zhang Xuezhou replied to Turkalando, then whispered a few words to Ren Anran.
He grabbed his car keys and communicator, along with a pair of earplugs, and hurriedly ran out.
"Are we just letting Brother Zhou go alone?" Wang Li asked, puzzled.
"He's safer on his own," Ren Anran said helplessly. "Xuezhou isn't particularly good at frontal assaults, but he's very good at escaping!"
"They're stronger than us!"
Turkalando thought about it and agreed that Ren Anran was right.
She hadn't seen Zhang Xuezhou engage in many direct confrontations; he either relied on gun ambushes, unleashed his infinite blade attacks, or led everyone in a run.
In terms of experience in escaping, Turkalando felt that Wang Haoran of the Fifth Sequence couldn't outrun Zhang Xuezhou.
"Is Saam really over there?" Tulcarando asked in a low voice. "What preparations should we make here?"
"You're so shameless," Ren Anran complained. "You're calling me 'Mom' before you're even married!"
"I'm shouting my own thing, it's not bothering you. Go ahead and shout if you dare!"
"Snort!"
With Zhang Xuezhou not around, Ren Anran felt that she and Turkalando couldn't stay together anymore.
She didn't bother with Tulcarando's petty schemes during the battle; she simply made some basic preparations and deployments, trying to follow Zhang Xuezhou's previous arrangements to provide cover and eliminate any minor risks.
"Young man, you've got guts!"
On the other side, Zhang Xuezhou drove his new Turcalando closely behind the two recklessly speeding heavy trucks.
With a roar, the heavy truck sped along, rushing over obstacles in a straight line towards Leiata City.
Occasionally, the high- Sequence Holder on the heavy truck would look around, and Human Dynasty would whistle at Zhang Xuezhou who was following behind.
"Hey, don't get killed by that ferocious beast!"
Nags also waved to Zhang Xuezhou.
He tilted his head, sensing that Zhang Xuezhou was probably hiding something, perhaps knowing what treasure this visitor possessed, which explained his reckless actions.
But no amount of selfless dedication can overcome the limitations of the opponent's strength; without sufficient power, one is not even qualified to penetrate the center of the battlefield.
Zhang Xuezhou wasn't qualified, but Naggus wasn't afraid at all.
He considered Zhang Xuezhou's current state and realized he would have to be extra careful to try and obtain any treasures that the newcomer might be carrying.
After exchanging a few words of concern, Nagos watched as the heavy truck sped across a separating trench.
Large vehicles can pass through these trenches, but small vehicles have a very hard time getting through.
Seeing the car following behind quickly turn around, Naggus couldn't help but shake his head.
He reached out and grabbed at the howling wind and waves, then looked at a few refugees wandering by the roadside in the distance.
When Naggus discovered that the refugees were vomiting up a bunch of white, viscous substance, he was horrified.
"Everyone wear masks. We need to check your physical condition after this battle, and then have a full check-up when we get back home!"
Naggs didn't care about anyone else; he gave Omega and the others some instructions and then put on his breathing mask.
As they drew closer to Leiata, Nagos could see moths in the air that were the size of giant eagles.
Meanwhile, some less capable explorers died outside the city without even entering, leaving behind only tattered clothes and bloodied skeletons.
There were also patches of dark red and white hard crust residue on the ground.
The situation outside Leiata City was like this; the situation inside the city must be far more serious than Gongyi Xingguangyu and others described.
In this disaster, apart from those who left first and some refugees, eight or nine out of ten of the remaining people have already been fed to the giant moths.
