Negotiations
The atmosphere at the Twilight Years Mansion is excellent; food, drink, clothing, and lodging are all readily available, and there's even a high-standard laboratory.
Chimmon Hagrid felt that life in the Scarlet Alliance State was far better than his life as a ruthless merchant who ripped off customers in Huli Port.
The chaos in the Aomeijia Alliance undoubtedly disrupted his life.
Chimmon Hagrid couldn't understand why Mengtesi Badun had suddenly died, and why this had triggered such a large-scale melee.
Why is he suddenly going to die?
The sudden death of the world's top expert, who once held the pinnacle of the Sequence Holder, is nothing short of a joke to his peers.
Chimmon Hagrid could accept that Mengtesi Badun was killed by Ferocious Beast, successfully challenged by Ren Yisheng, and defeated by Zhou Xin Xinyue's sequence, but he could not accept the explanation that he died of illness.
But once his gaze fell upon the leaked photos and videos of the hospital bed, Chimon Haig had no choice but to admit it, no matter how unwilling he was.
The unresponsive person lying in the treatment pod was Mengtesi Badun; his current test results were no different from those of an elderly person on the verge of death.
After being bombarded by concentrated rocket fire, Mengtesi Badun's chances of survival are now slim.
You still can't do it!
Chimmon Hagrid felt that his role as Speaker of the Grand Council was just so-so, and he wouldn't do any better than Mengtesi Badun, but he never expected that Montesbatton's term would end in the fall of the kingdom.
The Aomeijia Alliance appeared outwardly glamorous, but its collapse was so rapid that it caught countless people completely off guard.
Few anticipated this outcome, and few knew they would have to face this situation.
"Either you don't die, or you die cleanly, and things might be different!"
Chimmon Hagrid muttered twice.
Things have escalated to this point that even if he intervened, or even if Mengtesi Badun jumped up from his hospital bed and shouted "I'm not dead!", the matter wouldn't be stopped.
Countless interests are intertwined within this conflict. If these contenders are not uprooted one by one to create a powerful deterrent, the war will only resemble a selection process for a victor, until a final winner emerges.
The extent of the damage, the number of deaths, and the extent to which the economies of the Aomeijia Alliance will regress are all unknowns.
"Only the Scarlet Alliance State can intervene!"
If the video playing on the screen is turned off, Chimmon Hagrid can see three newly promoted high- Sequence Holder of the Seventh Sequence.
Zhong Rang, who calmly shared his experience; Song Xianzhong, who smugly said "I'm honored"; and Cai Guoli, who kept claiming "luck".
The birth of the three Seventh Sequence is not the end, but only the beginning.
The Twilight Years Mansion alone already houses five people of the Seventh Sequence, while outside there is Ren Yisheng, the Eighth Sequence, and Zhou Xin and Changkong Luo are also involved, who are heading to Qinmeng.
If we add the Changkong siblings, this is almost the total number of people in the world Sequence Holder.
As long as the materials extracted from the Ferocious Beast continue to accumulate in the Scarlet Alliance State, the Seventh Sequence Holder will continue to appear here.
The internal strife in the Aomeijia Alliance has presented a huge opportunity: as long as the Montes Lineage asks for help, the genetic resources that have been used to restrict the Scarlet Alliance State will inevitably be redirected.
"I wonder if those bastards will team up with the villains!"
Chimon Haig considered the Montes Lineage's style and the current committee of the Scarlet Alliance State, and felt that it was entirely possible.
However, if the Montes Lineage's negotiators kept their options to themselves, Li Yingbo and his group would likely have given a perfunctory response one minute and then gone to meet with the rebel representatives the next.
Who will be the negotiating representative?
Although Chimmon Hagrid was overthrown by the Montes Lineage, this does not mean that he sided with the villains.
On the contrary, Chimman Haig strongly disliked this brutal method of resolving problems through war.
The Scarlet Alliance State has readily available solutions to follow, and can resolve related conflicts entirely through reform.
Gene Sequence are not exactly a publicly available resource these days. The large number of people involved means resource scarcity and competition, and resource allocation can easily get out of control and lead to vicious competition.
There are even directions that focus on genetic resources, which can be problematic even for those at the Sequence Holder.
But after six months in the Scarlet Alliance State, Chimon Haig had a pretty good understanding of how resources were coordinated and allocated, and he also understood why the Scarlet Alliance State had been able to stabilize.
The emergence of sequence locks involves many constantly evolving contradictions, such as the improvement of social and technological levels, the expansion of resources, the reform of sequence, and changes in centralization. The emergence of sequence locks is like using a whip to constantly drive many people forward.
When there is significant room for improvement in Gene Sequence, it not only provides sufficient deterrence but also allows for ample buffer time.
"With the collapse of the Aomeijia Alliance, the Scarlet Alliance State will be able to feast, and it's highly likely that this will reduce domestic conflicts to a minimum!"
Chimman Hagrid paced back and forth in the Twilight Years Mansion, feeling restless.
"I want to see Li Yingbo, and I also want to see that idiot sent by the official Aomeijia Alliance!"
When three more Seventh Sequence Holder were born in the Twilight Years Mansion, Chimon Hagrid pondered for a full thirty minutes before deciding he had to speak with them.
He wanted to find Li Yingbo and ask him to avoid making unreasonable demands.
He also needed to find the negotiating representatives of the Aomeijia Alliance to make them aware of the Scarlet Alliance State's bottom line and understand that only these people could minimize the destructiveness of this war.
After turning on the video recorder, Chimon Haig dialed Li Yingbo's number nine times before he finally got through.
"Old Hagrid, Ganghao..."
"What? It's that idiot Ganghao who's here to negotiate?"
Chimon Haig's mood soured as soon as Li Yingbo uttered a name on the communicator.
"Are all the Aomeijia dead? Why would they send Ganghao here?" Chimman Hagrid cursed.
"The only one who could have come to the Scarlet Alliance State alive was Montes Ganghao," Li Yingbo corrected. "The rebels of the Aomeijia Alliance used a method I don't understand to control the Airbus. When the Airbus reached an altitude of 11,000 meters, they suddenly locked it down, causing all the Airbus's controls to fail, thus resulting in the crash!"
"He fell over 10,000 meters and didn't die completely?" Chimon Haig exclaimed in astonishment. "That bastard's got a tough life!"
"I have a parachute!"
A dull voice joined the discussion, and Montes Ganghao was no longer the irritable and arrogant man he used to be.
The strength of the Seventh Sequence remains unattainable for many, but a stray dog is bound to be filled with fear.
If they cannot fight their way back to the Aomeijia Alliance, Montes Ganghao will only face the fate of being dependent on others in the future.
Even if the rebels offered him amnesty, he would never return to the Aomeijia Alliance, lest he be wiped out.
The struggle for power at the top is so naked and direct that there is no turning back for anyone; it can only end when one side is completely eliminated.
"What does Li Yingbo want? Can you agree to it? Can you provide the goods immediately? Can you get them to set off right away to quell the rebellion?"
Chimon Hagrid asked repeatedly, while Montes Ganghao's aura became somewhat uncertain.
Clearly, Montes Ganghao was prepared for a major financial loss, but he still couldn't accept the conditions proposed by Li Yingbo and others.
