"Zhang Shengzi, what are you looking at?"

The first and fourth place finishes at home are respectable, and everyone at Lingshan is very happy.

Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva also went out to celebrate for a while, and only when he returned did he find that there was an extra person in his house.

Seeing Zhang Xuezhou staring intently at his two Little Jin, his drool almost dripping into the tank, Guanyin Bodhisattva's heart skipped a beat.

He shouted, and Zhang Xuezhou forcefully twisted his neck back.

"This little demon fish looks delicious!"

Zhang Xuezhou wiped the drool from his mouth, then gestured with his fingers to indicate the size of the two small fish. He finally decided that after cooking, there would only be three bites of meat with bones, and then he put his mind at ease.

"These two carp can do underwater work and are somewhat useful. It's better to keep them than to eat them," said Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva.

"It's for working!"

Zhang Xuezhou gave a casual reply, then looked around the thatched hut and felt that there was really no other food that looked appealing in Guanyin Bodhisattva's house.

He didn't just gorge on anything he could find; he would only use food to nourish and replenish his body's deficiencies if it made Zhang Xuezhou feel good.

The little fish in the thatched hut is indeed quite good; it has no flaws except for its small size.

Why would someone who does manual labor need to be so good-looking!

When Zhang Xuezhou said something sullenly, Guanyin Bodhisattva realized that Zhang Xuezhou had inadvertently said the wrong thing and revealed his secret desire to eat fish.

"Our Lingshan is a poor and remote place, and we don't have much to eat or drink. We can only enjoy a variety of delicious foods during the Ullambana Festival," said Guanyin Bodhisattva helplessly. "Ullambana means hanging people upside down. Just think about how we have to eat and drink while hanging upside down, and you'll know how scarce our ingredients are!"

"Do they really hold banquets where people eat upside down?" Zhang Xuezhou asked in surprise.

"That's right!"

"How tragic!"

Guanyin Bodhisattva frankly admitted that Zhang Xuezhou felt it was too difficult to get anything extra to eat at Lingshan.

Having eliminated that kind of thought, he only had the need to read scriptures.

"The Vishnu disciple will send me the Heart Sutra later so I can learn Sanskrit. You all should teach him diligently then," Zhang Xuezhou said. "Once I've learned the Heart Sutra, I'll give you elixirs!"

"This is easily resolved!"

Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva nodded happily in agreement.

Even on Mount Ling, there are different ranks. Bodhisattvas have extremely high status and can access many scriptures of the Western Sect, but compared to the Buddhist disciples cultivated by the Western Sect, they are clearly inferior.

Some Buddhists may not have studied the Sanskrit scriptures known to them, or may not have come into contact with Bodhisattvas such as Avalokiteshvara.

The Heart Sutra is a particularly important text among them.

Even if there were no payment for teaching the Heart Sutra, Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva would still be willing to explain the sutra.

"I called Manjushri and Samantabhadra over. They have sweet potatoes and lotus roots at home, so I can bring some over and eat them while studying the Sanskrit scriptures," said Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva.

"Melon and lotus root? Okay, okay, okay!"

Guanyin Bodhisattva was very perceptive; Zhang Xuezhou felt that the other person was a wonderful person.

Zhang Xuezhou felt that his learning efficiency would increase dramatically if he could eat and study at the same time.

He agreed to the request from Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva, and the Bodhisattva immediately went out and left.

But in just a short while, this thatched hut welcomed another face.

It's you!

Zhang Xuezhou glanced around and his gaze fell upon a handsome man with a fair complexion and no beard.

For Zhang Xuezhou to describe her as beautiful, she must indeed be very pretty, with a touch of feminine softness.

However, Zhang Xuezhou had fought with the other party and was certain that the person in front of him was a man, whose physical strength far exceeded that of ordinary cultivators.

"I thought it was Vishnu who came, but I didn't expect it was you who came to deliver the scriptures," Zhang Xuezhou said.

"Vishnu won first place on his home turf at Mount Sumeru. He's currently the center of attention, and the sect leader even had a private meeting with him for questioning. He's not free for the time being, so I've been sent here!"

Brahma bowed to Zhang Xuezhou with his hands clasped together. When he opened his palms, twelve scrolls of palm-leaf scriptures appeared in his hands.

"Only this much?" Zhang Xuezhou asked in surprise.

"We three holy sons each have six volumes of the Heart Sutra, while Tathagata and Wu Chao each have six volumes, totaling thirty volumes of scripture," Heavenly Dao Buddha Son Shigong's approval to retrieve the hidden scriptures. We will negotiate with him after Vishnu has finished his hearing!"

"Your book is too scattered," Zhang Xuezhou said, frowning.

"The Master teaches us according to our individual aptitudes," Heavenly Dao Brahma. "The six volumes we hold are different, yet each forms a system and does not appear scattered!"

"Oh?"

Zhang Xuezhou exclaimed in surprise.

Such a transmission of teachings as that of the Western Sect is extremely rare.

A classic text was passed down through five Buddhist disciples, each receiving a different version, yet each version was tailor-made and considered complete.

The power of the Buddha Son Shigong's mind was almost entirely concentrated on the black core in the center of his forehead, so it was not visible at the back of his head, but its power was unparalleled.

Vishnu's mental power resonates with the golden body of an Arhat, multiplying the defense rate and increasing the margin for error in sneak attacks.

Perhaps due to physical weakness or other factors, Zhang Xuezhou did not feel much mental power when fighting Brahma, but as the leader of the three Buddhist disciples, Brahma's ability in this area could not be lacking.

The Buddha's mental power involves the True Solar Fire; with a mere thought, it can almost trigger a fatal effect.

Zhang Xuezhou was unfamiliar with Wu Chao, whom he was quite familiar with, and had no idea what miraculous effects the Heart Sutra that Wu Chao had obtained had.

He considered his relationship with the Buddha and the Wu Chao, and pondered the conditions Vishnu had agreed to. Then he nodded, indicating that he had accepted the two copies of the Heart Sutra.

"Get Buddha Son Shigong's copy as soon as possible and study it. Also, urge Vishnu on so I don't have to wait too long," Zhang Xuezhou said.

"Become!"

Brahma nodded, looked around, and then stretched out his hand to scoop the fish out of the tank.

Zhang Xuezhou saw the small demon fish, previously the size of a palm, instantly transform into a form half the height of a person, and slap its tail onto the hand of Brahma.

Help!

The other little demon fish uttered mournful human-like words, its voice extremely penetrating.

"Hey, you two yin-yang fish are driving me crazy! I'm going to find a chance to catch you both and eat you tomorrow!"

Brahma was shaken by the little demon fish's tail, and his body was still somewhat unsteady. He gave up quickly, cursed, turned around, and dashed out of the hut.

"Eat your fill next time so you have the strength to come back, otherwise you'll get killed by the fish!"

Zhang Xuezhou waved his hand.

Zhang Xuezhou's physical fitness was so-so. The Brahma Heaven, which had endured twelve days in the Wind Cave, was clearly not in good shape either. He had not yet fully recovered and was almost thrown off his feet when the demon fish slapped him.

He looked at the little demon fish that had transformed to be half a person's height, and kept clicking his tongue.

"My Lord, I only got this big because I swallowed air. I'll shrink once I exhale. My flesh isn't even enough for you to chew on twice!"

The little demon fish fought back fiercely against the harassment from Brahma, but since Zhang Xuezhou had a good relationship with Guanyin Bodhisattva, they didn't dare to be presumptuous and instead chose to beg for mercy.

"Alright, I'm not interested in eating fish now, so I won't drool over you guys!"

Zhang Xuezhou looked at the little demon fish that had shrunk after being deflated, and then waved to the two fish.

He held the two copies of the Heart Sutra in his left and right hands, flipping through them one by one, and then began to compare and read them repeatedly.
