Despair and Hope
In the temporary parliament hall of the New Aomeijia Alliance, Ren Yisheng sat on a platform not far from Grean, showing his support, and was the first to leave after the dull meeting ended.
He was the first to leave, and then walked at the front with Zhang Xuezhou and Ren Anran outside the council chamber, whispering to each other. This reversal of roles did not cause any dissatisfaction.
Some people looked out the window at the densely packed heavy trucks parked outside below.
In less than ten days, 90% of the Sequence Holder and generals who had been implicated had been captured, and the city of Branpeda was no longer plagued by the indiscriminate flying of rockets.
This wasn't because Ren Yisheng led his team to settle accounts one by one, but rather because they were scattered like stars across the sky to carry out missions, which allowed them to arrive in Branpeda at almost the same time.
This also involves issues such as restoring normal communication services and ensuring the smooth passage of vehicles, meaning that many Scarlet Alliance State had very little time to take action.
While the accuracy of the information provided by numerous members of parliament certainly played a role, it also meant that many of the Scarlet Alliance State's Sequence Holder possessed the ability to take things from a vast army with ease, truly leveraging the advantage of Sequence Holder teams in decapitation strikes.
If Badun were dead, and the Montes Lineage's Sequence Holder team could utilize that ability, none of them would dare participate in the rebellion.
The captured individuals were not newbies, but rather involved with the Sixth Sequence.
The new parliament was filled with 60% of the original members, while at least 30% of the remaining 40% were in these heavy trucks. Some regional leaders who adhered to neutrality stood obsequiously beside the Scarlet Alliance State.
Capturing these people is almost tantamount to ending a civil war.
This group surrendered even earlier, meaning that the high-ranking Sequence Holder of the Aomeijia Alliance were almost completely wiped out.
This was destined to be a very embarrassing day for the Montes Lineage; never before had they lost face to such an extent.
Some people have turned their attention to Montes Clark, Steel, Bingo, and others.
"Did you feel it?"
Montes Clark's face showed a hint of despair.
The skills Zhou Rihui displayed were far beyond Montes Clark's capabilities. As a speed-type Seventh Sequence user, Montes Clark felt that he was far less agile than Zhou Rihui, and even less likely to possess the ability to fly through the air like the other.
If the two were to face off, she would be utterly crushed, while Montessler would be nothing more than a target in front of Zhou Rihui.
It hadn't been long, and Montes Clark didn't know why the Sequence Holder of the Scarlet Alliance State seemed to have changed completely. Anyone he randomly picked was incredibly capable, and even a young man like Zhang Xuezhou had become extremely formidable.
"Our Alliance States turmoil..."
"It's not a problem of internal strife on our part; it's that the Scarlet Alliance State's Gene Sequence technology has improved dramatically!"
The Gene Sequence problem is not a recent development; many people are stuck at the Sixth Sequence and find it difficult to advance.
Even Badun, who led the Gene Sequence, was helpless.
Without exceptional abilities to break through and become a member of the Montes Lineage, even with the combination of ferocious beast extracts, it would be difficult to enter the Seventh Sequence.
"It seems many people from the Scarlet Alliance State have entered the Seventh Sequence," Montes Clark whispered. "Pay special attention to Li Qi, Qin Zhong, Bi Dazhi, and Zhen Wudi!"
"How could they possibly enter the Seventh Sequence so quickly?"
Zhang Xuezhou revealed that Montes Arthur had paid a considerable amount for the treatment of ferocious beast extracts. Even if these extracts were a perfect match for certain people, it did not mean that entering the Seventh Sequence would necessarily guarantee entry.
Moreover, the Scarlet Alliance State Committee obtained these beast extracts in a very short time, only about ten days.
Montes Clark's despair also stemmed from this, as she further judged the significant advancements in the Scarlet Alliance State's Gene Sequence technology.
This improvement is overwhelming, completely disrupting the previous sequence balance.
"As long as the Grand Council Speaker recovers, everything can be back," Montesbingo whispered encouragingly. "We'll definitely be able to enter the Seventh Sequence!"
If there is any hope left among the many loyal members of the Montes Lineage, it is only on Montes Badun.
Badun of the Eighth Sequence was a guiding light, and everyone followed the direction he pointed. As long as Badun lived, many felt there was still a chance for things to return to normal.
"Just bear with it for now, lest you get beaten up!"
Montes Steelhair whispered something.
The Sequence Holder of the Scarlet Alliance State are powerful, but these people are ultimately just passing through and have not taken root in the Aomeijia Alliance. Sooner or later, they will return to their home countries.
No matter what becomes of the Aomeijia Alliance, as long as they are alive, there is hope.
Why did they break up?
The passageway in the temporary council chamber was very short, only about ten meters long, but the view outside made it seem incredibly long.
With mixed feelings, Montes Clark walked down the stairs and saw a large group of Scarlet Alliance State Sequence Holder clear out four heavy trucks, which then carried more than two hundred people toward the airport in Brampeda, leaving only a few people behind.
"Are you back in Western Capital City so soon?"
As they reached the first floor, Montes Clark heard Grean's somewhat flustered questioning voice.
"It's a normal procedure for returning to China; we can call you back if needed!"
"Oh, I see. I thought it was because of poor hospitality!"
Grean's subservient manner resembled that of a servile traitor, yet few criticized him.
Regardless of who is in Grean's position, the choices they make are not much different. Moreover, a large number of Sequence Holder will choose to surrender, and many have contacted and negotiated with Li Yingbo and others. What they are doing is no different from what Grean is doing.
"Their advanced Gene Sequence technology also includes medical applications. I really hope we can win a few games at the next Alliance Island conference and thus acquire their advanced gene technology!"
"Maintaining advanced technology to enter the Seventh Sequence is also a necessity, and the Scarlet Alliance State seems to have a high success rate!"
The idea that Grian lacked backbone was one thing, while Montes Clark and others had another.
Technology is constantly circulating throughout the world.
Perhaps at the next Alliance Island meeting, it will be their turn to fight tooth and nail for victory.
"We should cultivate as many young people as possible, since the rules for the next round will no longer revolve around the top-level competition, but rather at all levels!"
"Every member selected by our Montes Lineage is among the best in their respective ranks. They have a very high probability of winning, and acquiring the technology of the Scarlet Alliance State will definitely not be a problem for them in the future!"
"Let's play it safe and not be complacent. We'll do another sequence screening later!"
"Let's wait until Grand Councilor Badun returns before deciding on these matters!"
The Montes Lineage has fewer than ten members in the council, but these are all selected from the best and are the ones who know best that the Sequence Holder of the Aomeijia Alliance are not afraid of comparison with the younger generation.
When someone mentioned that Badun's recovery time was uncertain and his return date was therefore uncertain, everyone fell silent.
