Not Much of a Problem
The various Sacred Land lands vary in strength, but they rarely engage in forced plundering or killing.
Everything must be done with a legitimate reason; one cannot act arbitrarily based on personal preferences.
For example, if the Emperor knew that Zhu Jiuyin possessed a secret technique, he couldn't force him to hand it over.
However, Zhang Xuezhou believed that the grand event would bring rules, and he was willing to get involved to ensure that Zhu Jiuyin cooperated as much as possible, preventing the other party from holding back.
"That Ten Thousand Demons Stele is indeed an artifact from the Heavenly Court's past," the Emperor said. "This artifact was once subdued by someone, allowing them to understand techniques and achieve victory against the strong with the weak. Later, when no one had the means to use it, it could only be used as a witness to battles within the Heavenly Court. However, it's hard to be certain whether the Ten Thousand Demons Stele actually contains many Technique Method. Zhu Jiuyin erected the Ten Thousand Demons Stele in Sacred Land, there shouldn't be many demons who have obtained top-tier demon techniques, right?"
"That's indeed the case," Zhang Xuezhou nodded. "When I was young, I came into contact with the Ten Thousand Demons Stele and obtained a Drowsiness Technique. I've heard that other demons have also obtained limited techniques, and none of them have become particularly outstanding great demon masters!"
In his early years, Zhang Xuezhou had limited experience and strength, and he found Tiger Strength Demon King's swordsmanship to be unstoppable.
However, as they grow older and gain more experience, some skills that were once considered unattainable are now being evaluated more generally.
"The Drowsiness Technique is a trivial skill!"
The Emperor nodded, indicating that Zhang Xuezhou's insect control techniques were quite ordinary, and no one in the Three Realms relied on the Drowsiness Technique as a trump card.
As for the great demons of the Xieluosi River Holy Land, they are nothing special; at least, the demon kings of the past hundred years are not as good as Zhang Xuezhou.
"Do you still want the complete ' Technique Within the Clouds ' by Leizhenzi?" the Emperor asked.
"Yes!"
"Then I'll allow Cai Ma to retain the right to make demands on the Yedie River Holy Land!"
Zhang Xuezhou achieved great success at the centennial celebration, defeating numerous experts from various forces. However, Zhang Xuezhou used his personal awards from the centennial celebration too quickly.
In a very short time, Zhang Xuezhou used up almost all the power at his disposal, leaving only the Nine Spirits Holy Land, the Fire Worship Cult, and other forces without making any demands.
The Emperor felt that Zhang Xuezhou was truly unable to hide anything, and had used up almost all of his useful power.
For example, the request made to Daoist Lord of the Yedie River Holy Land can be kept in the meantime, and with Daoist Lord's help when needed, it will be enough to turn the Heaven and Earth.
There are very few ways to restrain a Dao Lord in this world, and the Emperor somewhat regrets Zhang Xuezhou's choice.
But he must say that Zhang Xuezhou's choice wasn't too bad; at least it wasn't too reckless.
"You need to be careful. If Leizhenzi's descendants cannot accept the conditions and choose to leave the Yedie River Holy Land, Lu Ya will be unable to fulfill your wish!"
Zhang Xuezhou made many requests, all of which required the Emperor's intervention. The Emperor was willing to accept these requests, since many of the old gods in Kunlun needed to travel around, make an appearance, and adapt to the times. They could conveniently handle Zhang Xuezhou's affairs on his behalf.
He also cautioned against the possibility of failure when making demands.
"Venerable Lei shouldn't refuse!"
Zhang Xuezhou shook his head.
The "Technique Within the Clouds" is not something everyone can master; Zhang Xuezhou is considered extremely lucky.
While Venerable Lei is skilled in flying, he is not among the strongest. Such cultivators possess extremely high strategic abilities and have very special identities. If they lack protection, they can easily be forcibly invited by certain powerful forces to join their cause.
Zhang Xuezhou felt there was at least a 90% chance that Venerable Lei would agree.
However, whether Venerable Lei can produce the complete "Technique Within the Clouds" requires discerning judgment to avoid any discrepancies later.
Over the years, Zhang Xuezhou has engaged in a great deal of spiritual practice, and he has encountered numerous instances of being shortchanged, suffering greatly in this regard.
He only discovered his shortcomings after he had cultivated himself to a certain level, and could only make amends afterward.
The two chatted back and forth in the Myriad Longevity Pavilion, while the Emperor continued to use the Yang Soul Transformation Technique.
Go!
As the feeling of solidity and gathering in his hand surged into his heart, the Emperor tossed the purple light he was holding, and layers of dazzling brilliance floated in the sky above Kunlun.
"Don't even think about slacking off, Kunlun doesn't offer that kind of opportunity!"
The Emperor called out, and a dissatisfied groan came from within the purple light before it wandered away.
"This is the Six-Lifetime Reincarnation Method. Its sole purpose after completion is to find a suitable host to inhabit, then infiltrate it, lie dormant, and slowly assimilate to gain new life. When its needs are met, it will awaken and live a second life. Finding a suitable host to live in is extremely important; a suitable host is the key to living a second life!"
What would happen if the subject being carried was unsuitable?
"If the subject used to support this is unsuitable, all efforts will be in vain, and there will be no shortcut to regaining past strength!"
The Emperor spoke eloquently, while Zhang Xuezhou stared wide-eyed.
Zhang Xuezhou had never encountered the Six-Lifetime Reincarnation Method before, but after witnessing the Emperor perform the spell and recounting the subsequent events, he felt a chill run through his body.
The methods of the Extraterrestrial Heavenly Demon are too similar to the Six-Lifetime Reincarnation Method.
In a sense, the Emperor was now using methods similar to those employed by Extraterrestrial Heavenly Demon to corrupt him.
"Could Zhu Jiuyin have created such Technique Method?" Zhang Xuezhou asked.
"He doesn't even dare to cultivate, how could he possibly create such Technique Method?" The Emperor replied, "This is probably a technique he acquired by chance, which he then added his own interpretation to, thus creating the Six-Lifetime Reincarnation Method!"
Where do you think he got it by chance?
"Perhaps it was from listening to someone preach the Dharma!"
The Emperor paused for a moment and looked at Zhang Xuezhou.
For the emperor, the feasibility of the technique is the most important thing; the origin of the technique is not important.
Zhang Xuezhou, on the other hand, was very interested in the origins of the Six-Lifetime Reincarnation Method.
"What would happen if, in a critical situation, a host was chosen to carry the spirit without assimilating the consciousness of the original being?"
After failing to find the source, Zhang Xuezhou couldn't help but seriously inquire about possibilities similar to his own situation.
"That can only be gradually worn away after recovery, or one may temporarily suffer from some headaches due to the conflict between the soul and spirit," the Emperor said. "But as long as one comes back to life, none of this matters. The stronger soul will inevitably crush the weaker one, and sooner or later, the physical body and soul will become one!"
"If the entity that bears this burden is very weak and unable to withstand the power of the divine soul, will it affect the teacher?"
"That's for sure. This is the worst-case scenario; life and death are unpredictable!"
The Emperor nodded, then shook his head.
He agreed with Zhang Xuezhou's statement, but didn't think that he, with the time and the help of good fortune, would end up dying young.
There may not be any Three Realms that perfectly matches the Emperor's desires, but choosing a slightly less desirable Ba Snake, like Zhu Shiyin, shouldn't be difficult, especially since he has been in human form for many years. At the very least, he could choose to assimilate a juvenile born from a human pregnancy.
Human acupoints correspond to the celestial cycles of this world, making them renowned for their rapid progress in cultivation.
Of course, choosing humans would also result in a short lifespan, in which case external forces would be needed to help.
The emperor spoke eloquently, feeling that he had no major problems.
