The Hidden Land's Master
"Son, your dad's been out gathering material and written quite a few pieces lately. I'll be coming to your academy in a couple of days. You promised to let me mooch off you for food and drink, so you'd better keep your word!"
Just before bed, Zhang Xuezhou finally received a message from Zhang Weimeng.
Zhang Weimeng's gathering of material meant falling under the influence of the mental world and entering another person's world of thought.
After going through that, Zhang Weimeng needed a long time to work through the memories and slowly return to reality.
As his understanding deepened, Zhang Xuezhou knew full well that such an influence could not come without a cost.
Reading Zhang Weimeng's casual description, as relaxed as ever, Zhang Xuezhou pressed his lips together slightly.
"Food, drink, and a place to stay-all covered!"
As long as they paid, the families of Xuanshi Building residents could also use the dining center.
Zhang Xuezhou thought about his salary and figured he would have little trouble paying for Zhang Weimeng's meals.
That would let him keep an eye on Zhang Weimeng and do his best to coax him into cultivating.
Once Zhang Weimeng was fully aboard that ship, he would make progress of his own accord, and Zhang Xuezhou would no longer need to coax him along.
Coax him?
Lying in bed after replying to Zhang Weimeng's message, Zhang Xuezhou turned those words over in his mind.
Zhang Weimeng needed coaxing, and in that hidden land, Zhang Xuezhou would most likely have to do the same sort of thing.
Unlike coaxing Zhang Weimeng to cultivate, Zhang Xuezhou thought there was a fair chance he would need to coax the hidden land's master into making wine.
He would even need to improve the quality of the master's fruit
