The Hundred Thousand Great Mountains had three hundred and sixty-five remarkable peaks, each connected to a vast stretch of mountain country.

Every one of those peaks was a node in the Heaven-Obscuring Chaos Grand Array of the Hundred Thousand Great Mountains.

A regional array covering such an enormous area depended on natural conditions blessed by heaven, but still more on craftsmanship that rivaled the work of gods.

The grand array had nearly divided the Southern Jambudvipa Continent and the Northern Kuru Continent into two. Even the emperor who had been invincible under heaven hundreds of years ago had been forced to turn back empty-handed with his legions, leaving him no choice but to build a wall along the border to mark the boundary.

The grand array not only kept enemies at bay; the wisps of Spiritual Qi that drifted out as it slowly revolved were also a great aid to cultivation.
