Primordial Lord Golden Rosy Clouds
Whether blood relatives can receive blood transfusions depends on the continuous evolution of medical technology.
In times when medical care was not very advanced, it was difficult to verify blood composition, so people would try to use the blood type of a close relative to make up for blood deficiency.
As medical technology has advanced to a certain level, it has been discovered that although the blood of close relatives is likely to match the blood type, the genetic similarity between them can cause certain cells in the blood to be unrecognizable by the transfusion body, resulting in extremely strong rejection and even death.
However, with the further development of medical technology, these cells can be killed using medical means, thus enabling blood transfusions again.
The development of medicine has gone through several stages, from feasible to infeasible, and then back to feasible.
Jinxia Yuanjun is currently in a state of confusion. She has discovered that blood transfusions from close relatives are more reliable than those from strangers, but the mortality rate is also higher.
Is the cell you're referring to called a turbid cell?
"Turbidity?"
"My master once told me that the pure part of a person's blood is compatible with the human body, while the impure part will be rejected by the body. Therefore, the impure part needs to be removed before transfusing blood!"
"This explanation follows the same logic!"
The voices inside Taiyi Palace exchanged messages with Zhang Xuezhou several times, and then a white-haired, youthful-looking Daoist in a yellow robe appeared at the entrance of Taiyi Palace.
"It is my honor to meet a fellow Daoist today. Please come in and enjoy some fragrant tea!"
The Daoist in yellow robes was none other than Jinxia Yuanjun, the mistress of Taiyi Palace.
He personally came out of the palace to greet him, his words full of polite formalities, which made Yao Yuanguang question his existence.
As he listened to the two men's descriptions of blood, cells, clear and turbid substances, his mind felt completely muddled.
This clearly touched on unfamiliar territory for Yao Yuanguang. Even though Zhang Xuezhou and Jin Xiayuanjun did not shy away from having him present when they discussed it, Yao Yuanguang could only barely understand what they were saying and could not get a word in edgewise.
"Clever and resourceful?"
He recalled Hongku's evaluation of Zhang Xuezhou and felt that this matter seemed to have nothing to do with intelligence or wit, but was entirely a matter of insight.
"Could this guy have some kind of medical lineage?"
If Yao Yuanguang were to look for a possibility, he could only think that Zhang Xuezhou might have obtained a medical classic and was familiar with some of its blood-related content, which would have enabled Zhang Xuezhou to discuss it with Jinxia Yuanjun.
Even Confucian School scholars can't spout nonsense like you!
Watching Zhang Xuezhou being invited in, and Rong Tianding being politely ushered aside by the Daoist boy, while he himself waited outside the Taiyi Palace, Yao Yuanguang felt that everyone's fate was different.
He looked anxiously at Taiyi Palace and paced back and forth outside it.
Having served under Jinxia Yuanjun for decades, he had never even entered the gates of Taiyi Palace. How could he be as fortunate as Zhang Xuezhou, who was personally greeted by Jinxia Yuanjun?
"Jinxia Yuanjun's cultivation is a notch above mine, and she is not within the scope of my normal divination calculations; otherwise, I would at least be treated as an honored guest!"
Yao Yuanguang pondered for a while.
Inside the Daoist palace, Zhang Xuezhou followed Jinxia Yuanjun as they walked, passing through long corridors constructed of ancient, magnificent wooden structures.
The white walls and red tiles make Taiyi Palace appear extremely clean, yet it also contains a certain rhythmic feeling that Zhang Xuezhou is familiar with.
"It's a formation!"
Zhang Xuezhou could sense the presence of the formation, but he couldn't pinpoint where it was located.
Although his rudimentary skill in array formations played a part, it was undoubtedly an excellent way to integrate the array into the scenery, making it difficult for others to see through.
He followed Jinxia Yuanjun through the long corridor, and when Jinxia Yuanjun pushed forward, a grand hall came into view.
Hanging in the center of the hall is an ancient painting. In the painting, a person is wearing a Daoist robe with a Tai Chi symbol, his hair is tied in two buns, he wears a wide-sleeved robe, and he walks in the wind with silk ribbons and hemp shoes. His posture looks extremely elegant.
"This immortal's cloud-riding technique is truly unrestrained and a feast for the eyes," Zhang Xuezhou couldn't help but praise.
"Give them a few more compliments!"
Before Jinxia Yuanjun could even speak, the immortal in the ancient painting opened his mouth, spoke a sentence to Zhang Xuezhou, and even winked.
"This painting depicts my master," Jinxia Yuanjun said, pointing to the ancient painting. "After his death, a wisp of his primordial spirit tainted the painting, giving it a strange quality and turning it into a painting demon!"
Can paintings become demons?
Zhang Xuezhou couldn't help but exclaim in surprise.
He had only intended to have more topics to talk about, but the topics he casually brought up turned out to be rather strange.
The claim that the wheat in Wu Chao had become a demon was just a joke, but the ancient painting in front of us really does have a somewhat eerie Yao Qi to it.
The painting demon uttered a sentence, blinked, and then struck a graceful flying pose within the painting, as if Zhang Xuezhou was just waiting for him to add a couple more words of praise to flatter it.
"If an ancient painting is stained with the Essence Blood or blood of a top-tier cultivator, or even their three souls and seven spirits, and is placed in a blessed land, there is a one or two out of a hundred chance that it will transform into a painting demon," Jinxia Yuanjun replied.
"Don't call me a demon painter, call me Master!" the demon painter said discontentedly.
"Yes, Master!"
Jinxia Yuanjun didn't argue and readily agreed. Only then was the painting demon satisfied and fixed its posture, no longer causing trouble on the painting.
"Fellow Daoist, please!"
After dealing with the painting demon, Jinxia Yuanjun pointed to a small table.
He took the lead and sat down on one side of the table, then waved his hand, seemingly bringing a teapot and two teacups from a distance.
After shaking the teapot, hot tea poured out of the spout.
The tea was yellowish in color, yet it had a refreshing fragrance.
Zhang Xuezhou sat to one side and took a sniff, feeling his head become clearer and more refreshed.
"Good tea!"
Zhang Xuezhou gave a thumbs-up.
He didn't stand on ceremony and took a sip of the tea.
The warmth of the tea as it entered my mouth brought with it a sense of sudden enlightenment and profound understanding.
Zhang Xuezhou felt a sense of clarity wash over him.
"This tea is a Daoist tea cultivated by my master. Whenever there are difficulties in your cultivation, just drink a cup of this tea, and it will bring some relief," said Jinxia Yuanjun. "However, this tea cannot be drunk too much. After three times, it will have little effect, and the tea is only somewhat useful for your current cultivation level!"
"So that's how it is. Thank you for the tea, Yuanjun!"
There really aren't many things that Zhang Xuezhou finds difficult to understand.
He's just a test-oriented education machine; he absorbs whatever others cram in, and his understanding depends entirely on their instruction.
Limited by the fact that Zou Bugui's cultivation had only reached the Divine Ability Realm, there were parts of the Yin-Yang School's teachings that he did not understand regarding the Divine Ability Realm and the Realm of the Sole Self Realm, but this was not the realm he was currently in.
Zhang Xuezhou considered the matter several times before finally returning to the content of the Yang Soul Transformation Technique and Chapter Five of the Mental Strengthening Chapter.
Thanks to the explanations of many venerable ones and Dharma masters, the content has been clearly reviewed, and the fifth chapter of the Mental Strengthening Chapter has become more transparent, reducing the feeling of difficulty in cultivation.
If they weren't in an unfamiliar place, Zhang Xuezhou would have liked to try visualizing and advancing the fifth chapter of the Mental Strengthening Chapter, or perhaps examine his Yang Soul Body.
"Fellow Daoist seems to have a profound understanding of medicine. Are you familiar with the technique of borrowing Demon Power?"
After some pleasantries, Jinxia Yuanjun officially began the conversation, speaking eloquently.
Biotechnology? Bloodline fusion?
A few familiar technical terms popped up, and Zhang Xuezhou realized that he had indeed underestimated this world.
Just when he thought he had grasped most of it, a much broader aspect was clearly still hidden deep inside, waiting to be discovered.
At least with Jinxia Yuanjun, Zhang Xuezhou heard about biotechnology that was extremely similar to gene technology in reality.
