Blackwater Company! Gang Shootout
Chen Feng followed Jack out of the bar, where several vans were already waiting at the entrance.
Once inside, Chen Feng saw that the van's windows were completely sealed off, blocking out everything outside.
The driver's seat was also screened off with black cloth.
Jack explained,
"Chen, please understand. Those are the rules."
Chen Feng nodded without speaking. With his current strength, he had no need to fear a gang boss in the modern world.
The vehicle stopped after an hour's drive.
They had arrived at a remote port, where a small cruise ship was moored.
Jack led Chen Feng aboard through a special passage.
At the entrance to the ship, guards were stationed to frisk people.
After the search, Chen Feng and Jack were escorted to a reception room aboard the ship.
Gangsters in black suits and sunglasses stood throughout the reception room, their waistbands bulging.
Four people were already waiting in the reception room: three men and one woman. The three were accompanied by quite a few bodyguards.
Jack led Chen Feng to a seat off to one side and whispered in his ear,
"These people are all major clients of our gang. Those three are clients from the Middle East. They've got money to burn and buy a huge amount of weapons from us every year."
Chen Feng glanced over. Sure enough, the three guys wore headscarves and were clearly Middle Easterners.
"That's Miss Park from Goryeo Country. She's with the Seven Stars Society, and she's another major client of ours."
Jack introduced the Asian woman to Chen Feng.
The woman sat on a sofa in the reception room. Her curvaceous figure and white suit gave her the bearing of a gang boss.
The woman seemed to notice Chen Feng looking at her. She raised a delicate eyebrow and asked,
"Are you that man from Dragon Country?"
Miss Park spoke in Korean. By now, Chen Feng had made something of a name for himself in the underground arms trade.
After all, Chen Feng had bought weapons many times.
As a member of a gang, Miss Park also knew that Jack had a major client from Dragon Country.
Chen Feng had never learned Korean and couldn't understand her, so he chose to ignore her.
When Miss Park saw that Chen Feng wasn't responding, her expression soured.
But since this wasn't her turf, she held back.
She was about to ask again in English when a group of people walked into the reception room.
They were fully armed soldiers, carrying submachine guns and equipped with all kinds of tactical gear.
As soon as they appeared, they stood in stark contrast to the gangsters.
Miss Park and the three Middle Easterners visibly tensed at the sight. None of their people had brought weapons aboard.
At the front of the group were two men. One was bald, with explosive muscles all over his body.
Beside the burly man stood a man in a suit.
Jack went over to greet the burly man.
"Boss!"
Jack had previously told Chen Feng that his boss was called Stone, but Chen Feng knew nothing else about him.
Stone nodded to Jack, then looked at the people in the reception room and said,
"Welcome, guests who have come from afar."
Stone wore a smile, and his courteous manner seemed somewhat at odds with his powerful physique.
"Let me introduce you. This is the man in charge of arms sales at the Blackwater Company. You can call him Mr. William."
Stone introduced the man in the suit beside him. The man's expression was cold, and he showed no intention of greeting anyone.
But everyone present except Chen Feng stood up and began greeting Mr. William.
The Blackwater Company had a resounding reputation even on the world stage.
It was a private military company. As long as you had money, the Blackwater Company could help you do anything you wanted.
Even attacking a small country was no problem.
The Blackwater Company's military strength was beyond anything a gang could compare with.
Neither Miss Park nor the Middle Easterners dared put on any airs now.
William and Stone sat down in the reception room and began discussing business.
After listening for a while, Chen Feng got the general picture.
Stone's arms supplies all came from the Blackwater Company; he was a middleman.
This time, he was preparing to place a large order with the Blackwater Company to expand his arms business.
He had brought Chen Feng and the others here to prove his gang's strength to the Blackwater Company and thereby secure the order.
"Mr. William, these clients of mine come from all over the world. They're more than capable of handling the business and can definitely take all the goods from this shipment!"
Stone spoke politely to Mr. William.
Although he was a gang boss, he really didn't amount to much before the Blackwater Company.
They had teams of professional mercenaries comparable to special forces.
William crossed his legs and said,
"Stone, our Blackwater Company no longer intends to work with your Crips and Bloods."
Stone froze at his words, his eyes filled with disbelief.
"Mr. William, what do you mean by that?"
At that moment, the special forces soldiers who had come with William raised their submachine guns and aimed them at everyone in the room.
Stone's men also drew their pistols.
The two sides were instantly at sword's point!
No one had expected things to turn out this way so suddenly. Miss Park and the others turned pale.
William remained seated and sighed.
"You've been a good business partner, but unfortunately, the Eagle Sauce Federation has set its sights on you. A legislator paid us a high price to eliminate you, so I'm afraid I can only apologize."
Stone's eyes widened when he heard William's words.
"A federal legislator! Why? William, I've worked with your company for so many years."
But before Stone could finish, a mercenary opened fire.
Stone was riddled with bullets in an instant and collapsed into a pool of blood.
Seeing this, Stone's gang members immediately fired back.
Gunshots rang out one after another in the reception room.
The gunfire lasted only thirty seconds before dying down. Corpses now lay scattered throughout the reception room.
Apart from Chen Feng, Jack, and the others, all the gang members had been shot dead.
These gangsters were no match for the Blackwater Company's professional mercenaries. The gap between the two sides was far too great.
Miss Park, the Middle Easterners, and Jack all wore expressions of fear.
William was very pleased by their fearful expressions. He smiled and said,
"Rest assured, everyone, we at Blackwater don't lay hands on our clients. A federal legislator paid for Stone's life. I'll send you to the FBI in a little while, as a gift for that legislator."
The Blackwater Company was powerful, but sometimes it still had to show deference to the governments of various countries.
When the federal legislator asked them to eliminate Stone, the Blackwater Company agreed without a second thought.
Wiping out a gang meant losing some business,
but it would make their future operations in Eagle Sauce more convenient.
Chen Feng looked at Stone's bullet-riddled corpse in the distance, at a loss for words.
He had only come to buy some weapons, yet he had landed in the middle of this. His luck had been rotten for eight lifetimes.
There was naturally no way he would let these people take him to the FBI.
