Returning Home and a Territorial Dispute
As the video began to play, the first thing everyone saw was a stretch of pitch-black seawater.
The sea was boundless. At a glance, it looked like an enormous black curtain spread over the surface of the earth.
Most bizarrely, there was not a single ripple on it. It was as still as a pool of stagnant water.
The moment Andrew Ng and the others saw the image, they were startled.
It was real. The image was simply too realistic.
It looked nothing like CG made with special effects. It was as though it had been filmed for real.
But a black sea had never existed on Earth.
Before anyone could marvel at how realistic the image was, ripples suddenly appeared on the calm surface.
Shadow after shadow began to emerge in the pitch-black water.
They were all lurking beneath the surface, and only when the camera zoomed in did Andrew Ng and the others see them clearly.
The shadows were all ferociously hideous Demon Beasts.
The Demon Beasts came in all shapes and sizes. Some were as large as buildings, while others had several heads.
They were all lurking beneath the water, packed so densely that there was no end to them in sight.
"Ah!" A female researcher couldn't help crying out.
Her cry gave everyone else a fright as well.
"Qiaona, why are you screaming? It's just game footage!" Although Andrew Ng said that, his own face had visibly gone a little pale.
The Demon Beasts were simply too frightening. A single glance at them was enough to make anyone feel fear involuntarily.
The female researcher named Qiaona spoke. "Sorry."
"What kind of game is this? It's so realistic, and how did they design these models? Their imagination really runs wild." One expert couldn't help exclaiming in admiration.
