Evolution Experiment, Fireball Technique
Aboard the Eagle Sauce Country warship, Houston and several experts and professors were staring at the monitoring instruments.
The monitoring instruments were connected to the various devices on Qiefusi. As long as he was within ten meters, the devices would scan the Painting Civilization being and produce biological images for them to study.
At that moment, however, Houston and the experts were all a little baffled by the images on the monitors.
There was nothing on the monitoring screens.
For example, the images captured by the high-precision biological imaging device were completely blank.
The other devices were the same. None of them had transmitted any data back.
"How could this be? Could it be that he isn't a carbon-based life-form?" Houston stared at the monitors in bewilderment.
This was completely different from what they had anticipated.
They had guessed that one of the devices might fail, but they had never expected all of them to fail.
After all, as long as he occupied space, their laser rangefinder should have been able to detect him.
One of the experts said,
"Could it be an electromagnetic issue that's preventing the captured data from being transmitted?"
Another expert nodded. "Yes, that's certainly possible. The magnetic fields of extraterrestrial beings are different from ours."
Houston said gravely,
"For now, we can only take the devices off Qiefusi and see if they recorded anything."
Houston's heart was heavy. They had prepared so much, yet they had obtained no data whatsoever on the extraterrestrial being. It left him feeling frustrated.
Just then, someone cried out, "The general is coming out!"
Everyone immediately looked toward the ball of light and saw Qiefusi slowly emerging from it.
Qiefusi's face was positively glowing. He could hardly have been more excited when he learned that the Painting Civilization was going
