A Plan of Action! Raising the Strength of Both Worlds Across the Board
Hearing Chen Feng's question, Zhengjiao looked surprised. "Why are you asking that?"
Zhengjiao could hardly be blamed for his surprise. The question touched on matters far too profound for a Nascent Soul cultivator like Chen Feng to ask about.
"Just curious," Chen Feng answered calmly.
Zhengjiao shook his head. "Although I have inherited memories, I don't know much about how Spiritual Qi forms in a star region. It seems to have something to do with the laws of heaven and earth."
"Then what would happen if Spiritual Qi suddenly appeared in a dead, silent star region?" Chen Feng asked.
Zhengjiao thought for a moment. "I don't know. But if I found Spiritual Qi suddenly appearing in a dead, silent star region, I'd definitely seize it. Just like Spirit Veins on cultivation planets, it would be something the major powers would fight tooth and nail over."
Hearing that, Chen Feng felt inexplicably heavy-hearted.
He had suspected as much himself: once Spiritual Qi formed in a star region, someone might set their sights on it.
On cultivation planets, many factions searched everywhere for Spirit Veins and claimed them for themselves, because Spirit Veins meant an endless supply of Spirit Stones.
And those were only Spirit Veins on cultivation planets. If Spiritual Qi revived in an entire star region, one could imagine how powerful the factions it attracted would be.
Perhaps those factions would not pay Earth much attention, but Chen Feng knew better than anyone how little the cultivation world cared for mortals.
Seeing that Chen Feng's expression had turned grim, Zhengjiao asked in surprise, "Fellow Daoist, what's wrong?"
Zhengjiao could plainly sense that something was off with Chen Feng's mood.
Chen Feng shook his head. "Nothing. We'll leave for the Inner Sea in two months. I'll go heal my injuries first."
