Goblin Nirvana?
When the light of the "Silver Moon Emblem" exploded in the sky above the battlefield, the command center immediately detected the anomaly.
The dispatchers quickly sprang into action. After ascertaining the enemy's numbers and strength, they left only two combat teams that could arrive the fastest to provide support, while intercepting any teams en route, sending them back to their original missions or allowing them to continue resting.
With the arrival of the drone, Lake Watuke was also brought under communication coverage.
The battle ended much faster than expected. Even a powerful archbishop, surrounded and attacked by ten dragons, could only withstand it for a very short time before turning into a charred corpse.
The rest of the enemies—the two bishops and the goblins—all chose to surrender. Marked by the Moon God Technique spell, they had no chance of escape whatsoever. Moreover, the mission had completely failed, and they had lost their purpose in fighting.
Because the enemy quickly lost their will to fight, Tengxi did not suffer much damage. When the rescue team arrived, even her outermost layer of wooden armor had not been penetrated.
Apart from constantly crying, Miss Forest Dragon is otherwise unharmed.
On the contrary, Qiluo was truly injured. Seeing that there was no hope of escape, the archbishop focused his final, frenzied killing intent on her, attempting to take her with him.
Fortunately, the unicorn had been trained by Zijin and Katharine, making it exceptionally slippery when it tried to escape.
After learning that they were alright, Su Ming turned his attention to dealing with the "Pillar of Desecration".
These totems, radiating an ominous aura, are anything but normal.
Several necromancers skilled in curses were urgently summoned to the scene. They studied the totem and quickly came to a preliminary conclusion: it was a curse-type device created using a large amount of unknown technology.
Su Ming nearly choked on his late-night snack. Wasn't that obvious?
Fortunately, the interrogation of the prisoners went smoothly, and Su Ming quickly learned the purpose of these enemies and the core of the "Desecration" plan.
"These bastards!" Su Ming's eyes narrowed dangerously. "Since they dare to play such insidious tricks, don't blame me for being ruthless next!"
Gelie had already retired for the night, was startled by the news and got up to peek in. Only after learning that Tengxi was safe and sound did he relax.
"She's the designated next Forest Dragon Elder," Gelie told Su Ming. "Luckily, she's alright."
A hint of confusion flashed across Su Ming's face. "I've met Tengxi. Her talent seems quite ordinary. Are you sure she can shoulder the heavy responsibility of an elder?"
"Ordinary?!" Gelie looked at Su Ming in surprise. "Do you know how rare and difficult it is for the Forest Dragon Race to produce a dragon like this, who is so lively, sociable, and willing to travel around, only once every few hundred years?"
"----Are you referring to talent in this area?" Su Ming finally understood.
"Otherwise?" Gelie replied, "It's not their turn to fight."
"Too."

Stacy stepped into the command center, her steps slightly hurried, her long hair disheveled. She had just been summoned from behind and had flown here on a giant dragon.
During this time, she and Pulilade, who was proficient in human alchemy, had been studying the "Nirvana" technique submitted by the Fate Manipulator, which was a task assigned to them by Su Ming.
However, the situation has changed, and Su Ming has no choice but to bring Stacy over.
"You'll depart tomorrow morning for Lake Watuke and the Sharp Gorge City site to conduct an investigation," Su Ming instructed Stacy. "I need you to figure out how 'Desecration ' operates, as well as the goblins' side, the source of the virus contamination, and the details of the poisoning."
Stacy nodded. "Understood. I will identify the virus type as soon as possible and devise a response plan."
She paused, then added, "As for ' Nirvana,' Pulilade and I have basically figured out its core technological roadmap."
"Can it be reproduced?" Su Ming leaned forward slightly.
Stacy shook her head helplessly. "Pulilade is indeed practicing day and night, micromanipulation and biological tissue suturing. But to reach the operational requirements of ' Nirvana' —it's absolutely impossible in the short term."
Su Ming thought for a moment, "I can handle the surgical skills issue."
Stacy wasn't surprised. She thought for a moment and asked, "Are you in such a hurry to achieve this because you plan to use this technology on goblins?"
"Yes," Su Ming nodded in agreement, "Since the goblins dared to use Desecration, they shouldn't blame me for using Nirvana."
Return it.
"What kind of Nirvana is this?" Stacy spread her hands. "I thought you were going to retaliate against the virus directly, an eye for an eye!"
"Oh?" Su Ming raised an eyebrow slightly. "Why would you think that? If you wipe out all the goblins, who will do the work for me?"
"Tsk." Stacy's tone was slightly teasing. "I was really looking forward to a biological war."
"Hey, don't you want your scholar title anymore?" Su Ming chuckled, then said seriously, "There are quite a few goblin subjects in Dragon Valley. Using this indiscriminate method is just self-destructive, isn't it?"
Among the enemies Su Ming needed to deal with, the goblins were not even worth mentioning, so there was no need to be so ruthless. From the beginning, Su Ming's plan was to control these goblins and turn them into his own resources with as little cost as possible.
Then, go and defeat the real enemy!

Stacy went to rest, and Su Ming made arrangements for the remaining work.
He ordered the necromancers on the Lake Watuke to seal the corrupted totems. The two dragon combat teams that had gone to provide support earlier were to remain stationed in place to ensure the safety of the totem poles and the lake's water source.
But that's not all. Since the enemy's target is the water source, Su Ming had to send out some teams to patrol the winding waterways of the East of the Ridge region overnight in order to completely eliminate any potential dangers.
At the same time, he also issued instructions to the intelligence forces operating in Gray Ridge, ordering them to investigate the "Desecration" matter with all their might.
At dawn the following day, the main force on the front lines, along with the flank forces led by Katharine, launched an attack eastward simultaneously. They advanced with unstoppable momentum, continuously undermining the already fragile organization of the goblins in the East of the Ridge region.
The main pressure on the battlefield right now is still on the side of the plains blocking line, where the Dragon Claw Regiment Third Battalion under Zijin's command is located.
They guarded the key passages, blocking the goblins' escape routes. On one hand, they had to guard against the goblin troops inside the encirclement making desperate moves, and on the other hand, they had to be vigilant about rescuing the goblins from their heartland.
But Zijin was not satisfied; she had no intention of passively defending herself.
"According to the plan, we should attack the passages on both sides now," she said to Su Ming.
Yesterday's deliberate refrain from pursuit was a deliberate attempt to allow the scattered goblins to concentrate on the roads on either side. Whether it was the riverbed path flooded by water or the mountain pass path destroyed by Zijin's massive terrain magic, after a night, these two "paths of survival" must now be filled with a large number of terrified goblin remnants.
At this moment, the dragons need not expend effort searching; they can simply unleash their scorching dragon breath and devastating area-of-effect magic to reap efficient slaughter.
This was the pre-war planned moment of reaping the rewards.
"Some unexpected things have happened," Su Ming explained. "You won't be able to get support for the time being."
Su Ming had originally prepared two troops to reinforce Zijin's blocking line.
The closest force is the troops led by Bowers, who are suppressing the goblin's rear resource points. In the plan, they were supposed to send a portion of them to support Zijin.
However, a problem hindered the army's progress: the goblins' management of supplies was utterly chaotic. They had no concept of food categorization, leaving everything haphazardly together, including many foods unsuitable for dragons, and some even poisonous.
The Dragon Claw Regiment Third Battalion had to expend enormous energy on sorting. To make matters worse, they also had to independently undertake the task of supplying thousands of dragons along the entire front line, which was already a huge strain on their resources.
The second reinforcement was an elite force drawn from the main attacking legion. The original plan was for them to set out this morning and quickly reach the plains interception line.
However, due to last night's "Desecration" totem incident, Su Ming used up this force ahead of time to ensure the safety of water sources in various places. Now they are all stationed at key locations in the East of the Ridge water system to guard against the enemy causing trouble again.
"No need to worry," Zijin insisted on the plan. "You weren't there, so you can't truly feel the shock of yesterday." She recounted, "Countless rockets tore through the sky, a rain of steel and fireworks crashed down, and the entire goblin army was reduced to nothing in an instant. Such a sight is enough to intimidate any enemy!"
Yesterday, Su Ming's deployment of three hundred rockets in one go wiped out a main goblin army, leaving an indelible mark of fear in the hearts of the surviving enemies.
"Is that so?" Su Ming murmured.
"You need to consider things from the goblins' perspective. They simply don't have the guts to launch another attack on the plains today," Zijin continued her analysis. "You see, it was unusually quiet last night; the goblins didn't bother us at all."
Goblins are a race that excels at night battles. Despite their relatively weak physical strength, they also enjoy creating chaotic battlefield conditions.
Su Ming was persuaded by Zijin, "Then you organize it, be prepared to react at any time!"
"No problem!" Zijin replied crisply.

Zijin gave the order to divide the troops into three groups. She entrusted one of them to Zhimeng to lead, and they flew towards the mountain pass that had been destroyed by terrain magic.
She herself, leading thirty-three giant dragons, returned to the old riverbed battlefield.
The scene on the ground was just as expected: the dried-up riverbed had turned into a muddy swamp, where tens of thousands of green-skinned goblins were stuck. They trudged through the sticky silt, one step deep and the other shallow.
Upon seeing the giant dragon approaching from the sky, the goblins' terrified roars and shoving curses immediately mingled together.
Zijin narrowed her eyes slightly, not immediately ordering an attack. She simply led the dragon herd, skimming at a very low altitude along the river. The violent air currents whipped up by the dragons' wings blew off the goblins' tattered leather hats, making it almost impossible for them to open their eyes.
The shadow of death was so close, almost within reach. The goblins completely collapsed. They cried out and tried to escape, but were trapped in the mud and blocked by their equally desperate companions. Chaos reigned like boiling porridge.
Guided by the Zijin, the dragons completed a commanding circle before returning to the sky above the riverbed. At the Zijin's signal, the dragons raised their ferocious heads and let out a long roar!
In the riverbed, the densely packed green figures, like wheat fields swept down by a hurricane, instantly shrunk down, kneeling in the mud and begging for surrender.
"Sure enough," Zijin smiled at Su Ming, "You see, we only need to show a little goodwill, and these greens immediately know how to be grateful!"
"----They've seen a glimmer of hope, haven't they!" Su Ming retorted.
The number of prisoners swelled rapidly, soon exceeding ten thousand, and they swarmed across a large stretch of riverbank like an ant colony.
In the sky, the dragons took turns circling and keeping watch, their eyes scanning back and forth; on the ground, the observers responsible for screening moved among the prisoners, their feet barely touching the ground.
The Zijin landed lightly on the top of a nearby hill and casually found a flat rock to sit on. She bent her legs and gazed at the green ocean below, which had transformed from despair into bewilderment.
"Su Ming," she asked, "How long are we supposed to be guarding this mud pit?"
"The auxiliary troops responsible for receiving the prisoners won't arrive until 3 PM," Su Ming replied.
"Tsk, then I'm going to be bored to death!" Zijin stretched, leaned back, and relaxed on the sun-warmed rock.
"If you find it boring—" Su Ming seemed to have been prepared, "I have some data on a new weapon that will soon be deployed. I'll send it to you, and we can study it together."
Zijin rolled her eyes so hard they almost reached the sky, but unfortunately, it was a voice call, Su Ming couldn't see it.
The girl rested her arms behind her head, gazing at the clear blue sky and white clouds above her.
"I don't want to look at the documents." She suddenly lowered her voice to a very low hue, with a hint of awkwardness in it. "I just—I just want to chat casually."
Su Ming's gaze swept across the situation screen in the command center; today's battle plan was being executed quite smoothly.
The attacking force is steadily chipping away at the remaining enemy territory, and the operation to take in prisoners is progressing smoothly as planned. The interception line on Zijin's side is also very solid.
The goblin forces that dared to assemble in a significant manner were annihilated by the dragon's breath, scattering and fleeing in all directions, without even having the opportunity to deploy the Long-Range Fire Battalion for support.
Consequently, Su Ming, the commander-in-chief, seemed somewhat idle, even less so than his subordinates who were busy coordinating the communications personnel of various units.
"I'm free now, I can chat with you," Su Ming replied, leaning back on the bench. "What do you want to talk about?"
Upon hearing this, Zijin's body stiffened for a moment.
What to talk about?
Was it the delicious cookies he gave me yesterday, or the warm, bone-melting spring sunshine right now?
Countless little topics swirled on her tongue before silently slipping away.
"Or—" Her fingers unconsciously twisted the sash, her pearly teeth gently biting her lip, "Tell me about your new weapon, what does it look like?"
