The Sea Queen's Unfortunate Incident
The atmosphere at the diplomatic ball was not affected in the slightest by the departure of the hosts.
The dwarven war song, mixed with wild stomping, almost lifted the ceiling. But the most eye-catching focus was the strange pair—a Skeleton Pig with a top hat and a skeleton swaying wildly to the beat of the drums, and a Newfoundland dog wiggling its hips back and forth in an unbelievably seductive manner.
In the side room used as a temporary resting place, Stacy opened the door and led Ruixiuli, the dwarf Wanshi, and the Giant Hammer hammer in one after another.
The door closed, shutting out most of the noise from the banquet hall.
"Hey, old hammer," Stacy grumbled, "You couldn't make it when we were fighting the Crystal Dragon, but you're so eager to get to the ball." "Pah!" Giant Hammer huffed, ripping off his sweat-soaked shirt and slamming himself into the large leather sofa with a thud. "That bastard warlock threw a bunch of Magic Power crystals at me! If I hadn't reacted quickly, I'd be a tombstone by now!" He rubbed his lower back in pain. "Look at my old bones! I only did a few laps on the dance floor, and it feels like they're falling apart!"
Strictly speaking, he didn't just jump around a few times, but for almost two hours.
Stacy stepped forward, her fingers pressing with professional force to examine his muscular back, but she found no fresh wounds or bruises. "You... this isn't a combat injury?"
"Yeah, right!" Giant Hammer shouted righteously, "Can't I have a herniated disc? Can't a hammer warrior have an occupational disease?" Stacy rolled her eyes in exasperation, clenched her fist, knuckles bulging, and delivered a powerful "physical therapy" blow to the middle of Giant Hammer's lumbar spine. Clang! A crisp, teeth-grinding cracking sound of bones popping.
"Ouch!" The Giant Hammer arched its body, letting out a miserable cry. Then, its pained expression melted away like ice and snow, transforming into a blissful, almost intoxicating daze. "Mmm... so good! It has to be your skill!"
He hummed contentedly, not forgetting to make a Wanshi remark about the stubborn rock, "Unlike some dead priest who only knows how to chant scriptures, utterly useless when it comes to this kind of joint problem!"
The Wanshi on the other side ignored him and instead gestured to Ruixiuli to take off his shirt with a serious expression.
"Hey!" Ruixiuli immediately clutched his chest warily, his eyes darting between Stacy and Wanshi. "You're not exactly like this ' Naked Doctor,' are you? I'm warning you, I don't have a girlfriend, but I'm straight!"
The Wanshi seemed to have been greatly insulted, his beard bristling with rage. "What kind of garbage is in your head! When you poured the corrosive potion on your face in the dark dungeon of Divine Might Prison, didn't it drip all over your body?"
Ruixiuli's lips twitched, and he sighed resignedly as he began to undress. Sure enough, there were several winding scars on his chest.
"I knew it!" The Wanshi immediately slapped him with its large hand, even giving him a squeeze. "Nice muscles, young man!"
Stacy ripped off half of the Giant Hammer's trousers. She cracked her knuckles, then delivered a clean, sharp elbow strike, precisely hitting the dwarf warrior's tailbone!
"Ugh!" The Giant Hammer let out another groan, a mixture of pain and pleasure that stirred the imagination.
"So what if I'm the same?" Stacy pressed down hard on the Giant Hammer while giving Ruixiuli a disapproving look. "In the eyes of a true healer, the physical body is merely an appearance, everything is empty! Only illness is real!"
After pressing for a while, Stacy's forehead was beaded with sweat. She casually unbuttoned the top few buttons of her dress and fanned herself against the neckline. She hooked her foot over her medical kit, reached inside, and pulled out a round bottle, which clattered onto the coffee table. The bottle was made of simple, elegant curved glass, containing a slightly shallower layer of clear liquid. The simple bottle bore the words "Water of Life, 96% vol" in Polish script.
"Here, this is some good liquor I got from Bay Owl, supposedly called vodka," Stacy said. "You two got a great deal!"
Wow!
Giant Hammer and Wanshi Stone cheered, grabbed the water glasses from the coffee table, and poured two full glasses without hesitation.
The strong, pure aroma of alcohol instantly filled the air, causing Ruixiuli beside him to frown, but only making the two dwarves more excited. After pouring, only a shallow portion remained in the bottle. The gazes of Giant Hammer and Wanshi clashed in the air, sparks flying.
"The usual rules?" Giant Hammer licked his lips. "Whoever finishes this drink first gets the rest."
"Ha! You think you're so tough just because you're a warrior?" Wanshi Shi grinned, rolling up his sleeves. "I may be a priest, but I'm younger than you. Come on!" The two gripped their glasses tightly, the sides clinking together with a crisp "clink." They slightly hunched their backs, stretching their necks and shoulders, looking ready to pounce.
Stacy eagerly stepped forward. "I'll be the referee!"
She grabbed the dwarf's thick wrist and moved the wine glass to the center of the coffee table, ensuring absolute "fairness." Then, she abruptly raised her hand and slammed it crisply onto the coffee table.
"Cheers!"
The Giant Hammer and the Wanshi wrist tilted and retracted with lightning speed. The "water of life" that was almost overflowing from the cup was not spilled at all during such a violent movement, demonstrating its power.
The two men simultaneously brought the cups to their wide-open mouths and resolutely poured the entire contents down their throats!
"Their speeds are about the same!" Stacy found it difficult to make a decision.
But the two dwarves who had just drunk the wine suddenly stiffened, their faces turning from excited flush to a horrifying paleness, and then quickly turning a sickly purplish-red, their eyes bulging out of their sockets.
Before the two dwarfs could even utter a sound, they fell straight backward, landing heavily on the carpet.
"Old Hammer! Wanshi!" Stacy exclaimed in alarm, rushing to the nearest Wanshi, tearing open his shirt, and pressing her hand, glowing with a probing white light, against his chest, trying to find the cause.
Meanwhile, Ruixiuli also rushed to check on the Giant Hammer.
A moment later, the two dwarfs suddenly moved. They opened their somewhat unfocused eyes and struggled to their feet.
"Stop scaring people like that!" Stacy snapped.
The two dwarves were clearly not yet fully recovered from the violent impact of the "Water of Life." They glanced at each other with dazed eyes, as if trying to recall what had just happened.
It seemed as if they had stuffed a huge ball of dragon's breath-like flame into their mouths.
High concentrations of alcohol, besides causing burns and dehydration, are also rapidly absorbed by the stomach wall, causing the blood alcohol concentration to surge at an abnormally high rate, far exceeding the rate of breakdown.
Wanshi's vision grew increasingly blurred as his gaze swept over the bottle on the coffee table, which gleamed with an alluring luster.
He reached out his hand, wobbling as he lunged forward, "I won, the rest... the rest is mine!"
Stacy reacted quickly, grabbing the bottle and dodging the Wanshi's claws. But the Giant Hammer on the other side roared and pounced.
"Nonsense! It was me... I won!" Giant Hammer roared, reeking of strong alcohol.
The two dwarves pushed and shoved each other, trying to grab the bottle from Stacy's hand, while Stacy struggled to dodge.
Just one cup and she's already like this; what would happen if she drank any more!
"Can't find Stacy?" In the corridor outside the venue, Qiluomilan emptied a plate and let out a satisfied burp.
"Woof! Woof!" A Newfoundland dog, a head taller than her, barked in confirmation beside her.
"Can't you smell it with your nose?" Qiluo scolded.
"Woof... Woof..." the Quail whimpered pitifully.
"Alright, alright, I know you won't." Qiluo rubbed her round belly, deciding to exercise a bit to aid digestion. "Watch closely, do it like this!" She took a deep breath, her small nostrils flaring, and smelled an extremely strong aroma of alcohol—pure like never before seen!
"Alas!" Qiluo's eyes suddenly shone like Stars. "Someone has hidden treasure here!"
She suddenly grabbed the Quail by the neck, took off running with her short legs, and followed the scent of wine.
In the side hall, a fierce battle for ownership of the "Water of Life" was escalating. Stacy and Ruixiuli were using all their strength to try and pry the large hands of the two drunken dwarves off the bottle.
Sizzle!
A tearing sound rang out! Stacy's dress was ripped open, revealing a black strapless top underneath.
"You two bastards, stop this now!" Stacy was furious. She raised her pointed high-heeled foot and slammed it hard into the Giant Hammer hammer's shinbone.
In this chaotic moment, the door to the side hall was pushed open with a snap by a small hand.
Qiluomilan, dragging the Quail whose eyes were rolling back in its head from being strangled, appeared at the door in a daze.
To be precise, only the Newfoundland was completely stunned, as if struck by lightning. As for Qiluo, her little face first showed astonishment, and then her eyes sparkled with bright stars!
Wow, it's the legendary silver party!
Qiluo quickly ran to a corner of the room, and with a "whoosh," pulled out a sketchbook and charcoal pencil from somewhere. "Please continue!" she exclaimed. Then, as if remembering something, she quickly and politely bowed. "Thank you for your hospitality!"
Stacy's heart skipped a beat when she saw the Quail.
"Wait! It's not what you think!" She hurriedly covered the torn fabric, trying to explain.
Large, glistening tears rolled down Quail's wet, dog-like eyes. He let out a heartbroken whimper, turned, and ran. "Stop! Let me explain!" Stacy clutched her chest and quickly chased after him.
Queen Ghostly Flower had just finished exchanging pleasantries with King Star Pickaxe and Queen Geruida when she strolled out of the banquet hall.
A cool night breeze brushed against her cheeks, slightly dispelling the overpowering smell of ale and sweat. She strolled along the straight paths of the Ruby Base, organizing the key points for her meeting with Su Ming the next day.
It is foreseeable that the situation in the Taya Plane will not be peaceful in the future. She plans to leverage the advantages of the Silver Moon Forest, allowing the producing countries to accumulate a large amount of food, thereby gaining more leverage in establishing themselves in this world.
The night breeze ruffled a few strands of her hair, all thanks to Su Ming's groping hands. She simply untied her hairband, then gathered it up again and neatly tied it tight.
A commotion arose from all around, with many people running around as if searching for something. Soon, Ghostly Flower's presence attracted their attention. They gathered around, pointing and whispering about her, and the number of people increased.
"Huh? The target has changed to an older sister form?" one member looked closely.
A necromancer with keen perception frowned. "This aura is definitely from a unicorn, but something's off about its demeanor, and its power is unfathomable."
"I understand, Qiluo's disguise skills have improved again!" a voice beside her asserted.
Everyone suddenly realized why they hadn't been able to find her for so long!
A workshop foreman raised his arms and shouted, "Comrades! Grab the unicorn pony, rock and roll is just around the corner!"
"Catch the pony, listen to rock!" the crowd roared in response, howling as they pounced on the lone figure in the center.
Queen Ghostly Flower had no idea what was wrong with these necromancers who were obsessed with Final Bone Mad Machines, but that didn't stop her from cracking a smile that she hadn't seen in a long time.
The unicorn revealed its beautiful form in the moonlight, its white, pointed horn gleaming brightly.
Although she is only three hundred years old, she has the title of "Millennium Queen". This is not because of her age, nor because Ghostly Flower is the queen of Silver Moon Forest. Rather, it is because this Saint Rank Moon Dancer is skilled in a skill of the same name that allows her to attack from behind.
"Thank you for your hospitality," Queen Ghostly Flower gracefully stepped forward, her voice carrying a moonlit coolness, "I'm honored to receive you!"
Her figure flickered, as if blending into the flowing moonlight. The next second, she appeared behind the charging crowd.
Ghostly Flower's smile, like a poppy blooming in the Abyss, rushed towards these foolish, clueless mages.
Tonight is destined to be a celebration for the god of chrysanthemums!
