The Director
The Light Fleet's earth-elemental magic warship advanced, Feimaina flew up from the wind-elemental warship and landed on it. She changed into an earth-yellow staff and, together with dozens of Magister, activated a large-scale alchemical array.
An extremely dense earth-elemental Magic Power surged across the bridge, flowing towards the seabed and meandering along the bedrock of Brown Gold Island towards the shallows, gradually encircling it and outlining a series of massive runes until they covered the entire perimeter of Brown Gold Island.
Even with dozens of Magister working together, everyone was exhausted, panting heavily, and covered in cold sweat. The magic crystals on the warship were completely depleted.
Fortunately, the entire magic array successfully infiltrated without encountering any unexpected interference.
Feimaina's eyes narrowed, and she paused, her earth-elemental staff in hand. "Activate!"
A bright yellow light shone on the magic warship and quickly spread outwards. Runes activated in clusters, forming a huge, radiant halo around the Brown Gold Island.
Large-scale shipborne magical weapon, "Earth-Rumbling Pulse"!
Everyone on Brown Gold Island felt the ground beneath their feet suddenly tremble, as if an ancient behemoth was churning the earth. Everyone's bodies shook violently, and large cracks appeared in the ground.
The dragons were utterly baffled. Was this "slight" tremor truly an attack unleashed with all their magic crystals? Even stepping into the cracks would only trap half their legs—could the attack be any less effective?
However, this attack was effective in another way: the huge defensive shield covering half of Brown Gold Island dimmed rapidly under the impact of the Earth-Rumbling spell, and then shattered with a bang, turning into countless points of light that dissipated in the air.
At the center of the island, waves surged on the large magic pool that powered the defensive shield. The Magic Power crystals that were originally suspended in the magic fluid could no longer maintain a stable orientation, and the entire defense system fell into complete chaos.
The magic pool's output circuit triggered a protection mechanism, automatically shutting down and ceasing the supply of energy to the shield.
"The tactics employed by the Temple of Light are quite targeted," Su Ming said with a hint of contemplation.
Yise and Yuya's intelligence operations in the Radiant Holy City were highly effective. They learned in advance about the elemental attributes of the incoming magic warships, deduced the possible spell configurations the enemy might employ, and were prepared for the shields to be destroyed.
But seeing the facts confirmed with his own eyes, Su Ming couldn't help but wonder which link in the chain had gone wrong and leaked the secret that the Brown Gold Island shield relied on shattered magic crystals.
"Don't overthink it," Newman said. "We purchased a large amount of magic fluid and transported it all to this island; it's quite a commotion. It's not surprising that someone in the Temple of Light was able to deduce that our deployed magic system relies on magic fluid and suggested using an earthquake spell to interfere."
"That makes sense." Su Ming nodded. "After all, the opposing team's battle analysis department isn't useless either."
With the shield completely destroyed, all types of cannons on the Light Fleet opened fire at full speed, shells engulfing Brown Gold Island, with three or four shells landing in different areas of the island every second. Transport ships carrying ten thousand paladins also rushed towards the beach, preparing for the landing operation.
On Su Ming's side, the Giant Dragon Team began to withdraw from the field as planned.
Elder Yin'er set an example by performing the most earnestly. He let out an extremely shrill dragon roar, as if his Dragon Tail had been trampled. Then, under the threat of the enemy's "dense" artillery fire, he frantically flapped his wings and took off, looking utterly disheveled.
The other dragons followed Yin'er, flapping their wings and leaping, abandoning even the observers and only caring about their own survival.
"All of you, fly properly!" Mo Yuan reprimanded several dragons with a lax attitude. "What are you laughing at? Hold it in!"
Upon hearing this, some of the dragons burst into laughter. Several even nearly fell from the sky, and the scene briefly spiraled out of control.
Su Ming covered his face. He felt no sense of accomplishment as the director today. Acting in this scene was more tiring than actually destroying the enemy fleet!
If this were Hengdian, no one would even hire these unprofessional guys to play corpses.
"Silver Island has prepared stewed meat rice." Su Ming said helplessly to the entire channel.
The dragons, who had initially seemed somewhat perfunctory, suddenly became frantic. They trampled each other, frantically flying towards Silver Island, vying for the lead, truly putting on an air of panicked escape.
Before long, the group of dragons left the battle zone and disappeared into the eastern horizon.

This scene filled the commander of the Light Fleet Havitron, with ecstasy – everything had gone so smoothly! The legendary, infamous, and ruthless Bone King Su Ming was nothing special after all!
In particular, Su Ming's control over the dragons was so poor that as soon as the battle was slightly hampered, the dragons did not hesitate to scatter and flee on their own.
As a commander, this is an extremely serious failure. "Su Ming is indeed far too inexperienced," Havitron thought to himself with disdain.
"All ships, charge!" Havitron Trang drew his gleaming sword, and a bright red battle flag rose rapidly over the flagship, fluttering in the sea breeze. "All ships, full speed ahead of Brown Gold Island!"
"Yes, sir!" the officers responded in unison.
"The flanking forces on the east flank, launch immediately and intercept the remaining personnel on Brown Gold Island!" he shouted the order. "At all costs, annihilate Su Ming!"
The signal flare was fired, and the three high-speed warships roared into action.
On Brown Gold Island, Ainuobia offered a reminder.
"Guild Master, Silver Island didn't prepare any meat at all. When the dragon arrives at Silver Island and realizes it's been tricked, it'll definitely cause a ruckus!"
This is a problem, Su Ming thought to himself. Otherwise, the most troublesome thing in today's battle will become appeasing the dragons who didn't get any meat.
"Tell the logistics department to do something simple: reward the first ten dragons to arrive at Silver Island," he instructed.
He only said there was stewed meat rice, but didn't say how much. The right to interpret this belongs to Su Ming.
"----That's one way." Ainuobia quickly went to inform them.
The radar emitted a beeping sound.
Signals indicated that three fast-moving Temple of Light warships, "ambushed" on the east side of Brown Gold Island, were activating all their propulsion arrays and speeding towards them at a high speed of twenty knots, attempting to cut off the retreat route of the remaining personnel on Brown Gold Island and wipe them out in one fell swoop.
"The battle with the dragon is over." Su Ming turned around, looking at the group of observers who had been "abandoned," but his tone suddenly changed. "All forces attack! Sink all three of these fast warships, leaving not a single one alive!"
"Yes!" the necromancers of the Unfinished Bone Mad Machines responded in unison, soaring into the air and rushing towards the three high-speed warships.
There were no Bone Machine Battalion stationed on Brown Gold Island, and no heavy weapons were prepared for this operation. All the necromancers drew their staffs from under their cloaks, quickly adjusted their formation in mid-air, and prepared for battle.
"Lately, we've been spoiled by those precious dragons, or by those powerful weapons," a necromancer sighed as he soared through the air. "We've almost forgotten our true purpose."
"Now that you mention it, it's true," another necromancer chimed in, tightening his grip on his staff, a hint of nostalgia flashing in his eyes.
"Then this battle will be the first battle of honor for necromancers since the founding of the Final Bone Mad Machines!" the team leader necromancer declared passionately. "Attention, all! ' Spirit Rain ' – coordinate your spells and activate!"
Without a word, all the necromancers unleashed a torrent of dark Magic Power, forming a massive synergistic spell in the air. The dark light coalesced, unleashing a powerful aura.
The three Temple of Light intercepting warships had clearly noticed the unusual activity in the air, and the captains' expressions changed drastically.
The sailors on the ship had already adjusted the cannons' orientation, loaded their shot, and aimed at the necromancer horde, ready to launch an attack as soon as they entered firing range.
In terms of pure combat strength, the three warships were indeed somewhat weak in front of two hundred spellcasters, but their main force was not far behind the enemy. They only needed to hold out for a moment, and their own forces could overwhelm these necromancers like a vast ocean.
But the next moment, an enormous, skeletal whale suddenly burst out of the water, and the splashes swept in all directions like a tsunami!
The giant skeletal whale opened its massive jaws, filled with sharp bone teeth, and snapped its jaws down on the leading warship. The ear-piercing screeching sound of bones grinding together instantly filled the air, sending chills down one's spine.
During the surprise attack on the Naga army the day before yesterday, the H-6 WZ not only killed a large number of Naga warriors, but also killed many whales that were controlled by the Naga and used to transport supplies. All of these skeletons were loaded onto the H-6 WZ and transported to Brown Gold Island, where they were assembled into this skeletal whale.
The captain of the warship felt a violent shaking and lost his balance. When he could see what was happening before him, the ship's structure had been half-eaten by the bone whale, and a large amount of seawater was rushing in through the hole, causing the warship to begin to sink.
The elite warriors on the ship finally recovered from the shock of the surprise attack and launched a counterattack. A barrage of magic and alchemical weapons rained down on the bone whale, with explosions echoing one after another.
However, all these attacks were firmly blocked by the dark shield surrounding the bone whale, and could not cause any effective damage.
"It's an undead agglomeration!" a spellcaster from the Temple of Light cried out in despair and grief, "The Magic Power of those two hundred necromancers is all combined; we can't break through their shield at all!"
The skeletal whale writhed its massive body, its tough bony teeth constantly wedging inward, tearing the warship's hull to shreds. The warship's keel could no longer withstand the strain, and with a loud crack, it snapped completely.
Without the skeleton whale exerting any more force, the warship naturally broke into two pieces under the immense pressure of the seawater, amidst various ear-piercing cracking sounds, and quickly sank to the bottom of the sea.
The captain, his eyes blazing with fury, could only grit his teeth and issue the order to abandon ship, before quickly rising into the air himself.
The crew members, who were unable to fly, jumped into the sea to escape, but were caught in the whirlpool of the sinking wreckage and were constantly dragged to the bottom of the sea.
The captain looked back at the Final Bone Mad Machines in the air, his eyes filled with confusion and resentment. He couldn't understand what had happened to make two hundred necromancers coordinate their spells and summon such a powerful super undead!

After taking down the first warship, the bone whale didn't hesitate at all, its massive body then lunging towards the second fast warship.
The crew on the warship were in complete chaos. The sailors frantically maneuvered the sails and adjusted the rudder, while the ship's mages changed direction in unison, activating the propulsion array with all their might, desperately trying to escape the clutches of this super undead.
But the warship's immense inertia rendered all their actions futile. The skeleton whale met the sporadic shots fired from the ship...
The chaotic barrage of artillery fire once again opened its jaws and bit down hard on the center of the warship's hull. Sharp bone teeth, like chisels, relentlessly ground and wedged in, the ear-piercing sound of bones grinding together mixed with the cracking of the hull, sending chills down one's spine.
Seeing that the battle was over, Su Ming unfolded the Gossamer Wings of Darkness.
"Let's go!" He took to the air and flew off the island, with Jielusi and Ainuobia close behind him.
Newman forcibly reconnected the output circuit of the large defensive magic array on Brown Gold Island. The chaotic Magic Power in the magic fluid immediately surged in, and a terrifying splitting halo appeared in the array's patterns, which intensified rapidly.
Ruixiuli scooped up Newman and took off after Su Ming.
Not long after, another deafening roar echoed across the sea. The third fast warship also met its end, breaking in two and sinking.
At this point, the entire intercepting fleet had been destroyed. The necromancers dispelled the "Spirit Rain" synergy and began picking off the survivors in the water and hunting down the enemies who had fled by air.
Following Su Ming's orders, the more gruesome the scene, the better!
A few minutes later, when Su Ming and his group arrived, the sea had cleared. Apart from a few slightly stronger and quicker-witted enemies who managed to escape, the rest of the enemy forces had all perished, becoming fresh material for the necromancers to summon the dead.
A deafening roar suddenly echoed across Brown Gold Island, and a massive mushroom cloud rose into the sky. Violent Magic Power, mixed with suffocating wind pressure, swept in all directions, mercilessly tearing the vanguard of troops who were closest to the Temple of Light to pieces.
The naval warships of the Temple of Light were also tossed about by a large wave.
Su Ming's previous office on Brown Gold Island was completely blown away, leaving only the basement with a broken entrance exposed.
"Great, mission successfully completed!" Su Ming breathed a sigh of relief. "Let's go!"
The group flew close to the sea surface, and soon they saw the massive hull of the H-6 WZ floating on the water. Everyone landed and boarded the bone-machine fighter.
The enormous skeletal whale contracted its body and followed closely behind, disappearing into the massive cargo hold of the H-6 WZ. Inside its belly were several rune cannons captured from the destroyed warships.
"Welcome aboard this flight!" Miao Xin's voice came over the intercom. "Everyone, please be seated and hold on tight, we're about to take off!"
Although there were no seats in the cabin, the necromancers didn't mind and squeezed together to sit on the skeleton whale.
The mechanics in the cockpit immediately began the takeoff procedures.
"How's it going, Director Su?" Miao Xin teased, "How's your movie dream coming true?"
97
"Mao's dream of making movies." Su Ming leaned back in his chair and rubbed his temples. "The real battle plan is only just beginning!"
