Three-Way Call

As they bantered, the H-6 WZ had already approached the mouth of the Zhuo River.

Not long after the H-6 WZ entered the Zhuo River, the Star Empire garrison stationed nearby had begun an emergency muster. But as the enormous silhouettes of dragons appeared overhead, the Zhuo River Division immediately settled down.

They had not taken a single step outside their camp gates, merely setting up defenses where they stood, on edge.

For that very reason, the dragon squad tasked with suppressing the Zhuo River estuary had chosen not to attack, instead entering a "friendly" standoff.

"The waters leading out to sea are clear!" Elder Can Xin, who was leading the squad, reported to Su Ming. "Please proceed directly through."

Su Ming glanced at the shifting data on the radar screen and saw that not only had the Star Empire refrained from ordering its garrison to intercept them, but many warships that had been operating nearby had also hurriedly withdrawn far away.

Even more extreme was the battleship UFO, which Su Ming had encountered once before. She had originally been docked at a port fifty kilometers away, but now she had fled to a position nearly a hundred kilometers away. Even the little dot on the radar seemed to carry an air of panic.

"Xialike knows the Pansy is here," Su Ming murmured.

Since the other side knew better than to interfere, Su Ming had no intention of escalating the conflict. Maintaining the posture of "innocent passage," the H-6 WZ sped out of the Zhuo River and returned to the vast sea.

"Dragon squad, withdraw," Su Ming ordered. "Can Xin, pick a harmless stretch of sea and drop all your ordnance before you leave."
