An Engineering Student's Strategy for the Test Center
Security at the test center was nowhere near as tight as at the naval base. Aside from the perimeter wall, access control system, and basic guard posts, there were very few military personnel inside. Most were civilians engaged in research.
Even so, Su Ming did not dare let his guard down. The painful lesson at Naval Station Everett was still fresh in his mind. Little Spiky Head's narrow escape last time had been at least half luck.
Although the security level here was much lower, this was still a country famous for its martial spirit. Even an ordinary person with a gun, continually hitting Little Spiky Head's vital spots, could plunge Su Ming into a fate beyond redemption.
Once this is done, I'd better leave this dangerous place as soon as possible, Su Ming thought. Manufacturing in the United States had been hollowed out, making equipment especially slow to obtain. Items stocked back home had to be custom-ordered here; equipment that could arrive in days took months in the United States. And anything with a lead time measured in months back home took years here.
Through Miao Xin's vision, Su Ming carefully surveyed the entire test center. Surveillance cameras dotted the place, and equipment he could and could not name was everywhere.
He did not dare force his way in this time. He really had no practice at that sort of thing. The fact that he knew so much about weapons was already thanks to all the mouse clicks he had put in.
After considering it from every angle, Su Ming decided to steer things toward an area he knew. For example, cutting the power!
Once the power was gone, the test center's modern equipment would be paralyzed. In the pitch darkness, personnel would also be far less efficient at
