In the following days, Alex trained Marx to control metal whenever he had free time. After a few days, Marx made significant progress; he could manipulate a piece of iron with such skill it was like a performance. It was no wonder he was destined to become the fearsome Magneto.

Alex wasn't idle either. While honing his psionic power, he continuously explored and researched his own special abilities. From his time in Chinatown, Alex had learned that his mother was very likely a mutant. There was no doubt that his sudden special abilities originated from this body, stemming from the X-gene within him, just like Marx.

Being able to absorb Marx's metal control ability without harming Marx was different from Rogue's power. Alex thought of a word to describe it: replication. It wasn't deprivation or plunder, just copying Marx's ability without damaging Marx's own powers. However, this replication wasn't permanent; it had a duration.

One replication, meaning one touch, lasted about four hours before the ability faded. Replicating it multiple times in succession would increase the duration exponentially. However, after three times, further replication had no effect. Therefore, theoretically, the longest Alex could possess the metal control ability was thirty-two hours.

Of course, as long as Marx was near Alex, Alex could continuously control metal. When the ability faded, Alex just needed to touch Marx's body again.

After understanding his abilities, Alex began preparing for their escape.

"Alex, are you planning to leave?" one evening, Jacob climbed out of bed while everyone else was fast asleep and spoke in a low voice to the still-awake Alex. Jacob had seen all the changes in his son and attributed it all to Alex, who had become mysteriously powerful in his eyes.

Alex glanced around and nodded, saying, "Yes, I'll take you all with me when the time comes."

Through persistent training, his teleportation had improved again, with the distance now reaching six kilometers, allowing him to teleport again in just one minute. Even with four people, Alex was confident he could get them out of Auschwitz Concentration Camp. Once they were out of the camp, with his metal control ability, he'd be like a bird returning to the forest or a dragon roaming the sea, unstoppable.

"Before we leave, I want to kill White Glove!" Jacob's voice was very low. His face was indistinguishable in the dark brick room, with only his eyes flashing with a ferocious, predatory glint.

White Glove was the nickname the concentration camp inmates had given Rudolf Fernandi.

Alex opened his mouth to refuse, but looking into Jacob's eyes, his throat suddenly felt choked. After a moment's hesitation, he finally nodded and said, "Okay, but you have to listen to me about everything."

Watching Jacob climb back into his bed, Alex wore a bitter expression. He had agreed readily, but this matter was incredibly troublesome. Alex had originally planned to take the four of them and escape the camp under the cover of night, unnoticed. By the time the guards discovered them, it would already be the next morning, and even if they were pursued, Alex wouldn't fear them with his metal control ability.

However, Alex couldn't refuse Jacob's request. Although it might expose their whereabouts prematurely, he had to agree to fulfill Jacob's wish.

Two more days passed, and a new group of recruits arrived at the camp, said to be prisoners of war from the front lines—four thousand in total. That day, White Glove went on another killing spree, executing three hundred prisoners at the Wall of Death. He did it all himself, with one person holding a machine gun in front of him while he sprayed bullets wildly from behind.

As White Glove's killing frenzy escalated, he turned the machine gun's barrel towards the women working outside the open area.

From a distance, Alex watched with eyes wide with fury. Audrey and Ella were among those women!

"Marx, do it!" Alex habitually touched Marx's shoulder, and then his teleportation vanished.

As Alex disappeared, a hint of excitement flashed across Marx's small face. His hands moved rapidly, and the guards around them cried out in pain as they fell to the ground. Their steel helmets were crushed together, along with their not-so-hard skulls. This was something Alex had taught Marx: simple, convenient, and unexpected, the quickest and most efficient way to deal with guards.

Jacob was stunned for a moment before snapping back to reality, shouting, "Compatriots, pick up the guns, we're fighting our way out!"

A month of hellish trials had extinguished most of the men's fighting spirit. They didn't react to Jacob's words, but quite a few were still stirred and picked up guns, joining the resistance.

While Jacob rallied the men, Marx, remembering Alex's teachings, immediately turned his attention to the surrounding guard towers. Before they could react, he swiftly dealt with them, decisive and efficient.

Alex didn't bother to check if Marx followed his instructions. After his teleportation ended, he appeared in the center of the open area, in front of White Glove. At that moment, White Glove held a machine gun with both hands, preparing to fire.

White Glove didn't care who had suddenly appeared before him. The machine gun in his hands roared to life, spitting out dozens of bullets that formed a dense, impenetrable barrage.

Alex roared in fury, "White Glove, you deserve to die!"

A strange phenomenon occurred: the bullets stopped less than ten centimeters from Alex.

Alex looked coldly at White Glove and waved his right hand gently. All the bullets immediately scattered, flying towards the stunned guards around them. Each bullet, like a mythical elven arrow, skillfully pierced the heads of one guard after another, drawing sprays of blood. In an instant, nearly a hundred guards in the open area lay dead on the ground, never knowing how they died.

White Glove snapped back to reality in an instant, roared, and the machine gun in his hands chattered again. The same scene repeated, but this time, Alex's target was guards further away. Any guard holding a gun was sent a bullet by Alex.

"Drop your weapons, or die!"

Alex's threat was very effective. All the guards who were about to draw their weapons wisely lowered them.

"What are you waiting for, grab the guns!" Alex then looked at the newly arrived prisoners of war on the other side. Despite Alex's earlier imposing demeanor, he was actually in great pain; the rapid consumption of his psionic power was almost unbearable for his soul. "Secure this place immediately and prevent guards from other nearby camps from discovering us."

Auschwitz Concentration Camp was vast. The one Alex was in was the main camp, Auschwitz. Nearby were two other main camps and thirty-nine smaller camps or factories.

The prisoners of war were not ordinary people. They quickly regained their senses, disarming the guards while seizing advantageous positions. The more than three thousand prisoners of war soon controlled the main Auschwitz camp. The guards within the camp were locked up, and all the "inmates" were released.

Seeing that the situation was under control, Alex finally couldn't hold on and slumped to the ground weakly.
