Another Baron

Alex felt a bit speechless looking at the charging scientist. Did all scientists in Marvel have a hobby of martial arts? They were all skilled fighters, one after another.

While complaining internally, Alex's movements didn't slacken at all. The battlefield combat techniques he learned from Logan left him no room to hold back; every move was a killing blow. Moreover, the vicious scientist conducting human experiments before him reminded Alex of the Japanese, making him even more merciless.

What surprised Alex, however, was that his killing blow missed. Worse, the opponent managed to open a huge gash on him, and scarlet blood instantly dyed Alex's newly changed black uniform.

Glancing at the combat knife in the scientist's hand, then down at the wound on his abdomen, Alex couldn't help but curse softly, "Didn't you say it could withstand a combat knife?"

Unfortunately, at this moment, no one was destined to answer Alex's question.

The scientist sneered at Alex, not advancing immediately, as if waiting for something. But soon, he was astonished to find that the wound on Alex's abdomen was healing at a speed visible to the naked eye.

Seeing the surprise on the scientist's face, Alex secretly felt smug. At that moment, Teleportation was activated, and he instantly appeared in front of the scientist, his dagger swiftly slashing towards the scientist's neck.

However, to Alex's shock, the scientist dodged again.

A long sword had appeared in the scientist's right hand at some point, and it was with this long sword that the scientist blocked Alex's dagger.

Seeing the scientist wielding a combat knife in one hand and a long sword in the other, Alex couldn't help but frown. He tried attacking a few times, but each attempt ended in failure, and he was even injured by the scientist several times. The combination of a long and a short weapon was extremely tricky, leaving Alex feeling quite powerless.

"I need to practice more when I get back!" Alex sighed, preparing to retreat. One scientist had already left him helpless. If a large group of Hydra agents showed up later, Alex would be even more outmatched.

Leaving the scientist behind, Alex quickly rushed to the side of a dozen young people. After quickly giving a few instructions, he unleashed his Psionic Power, enveloping everyone. Then, he activated Teleportation, and in an instant, the group vanished from their spot.

Thanks to the Tesseract, Alex's Teleportation ability had been greatly enhanced, even stronger than in his previous life. Teleporting with a dozen people was no problem.

Seeing Alex return with the dozen youths, the members of the commando unit looked over with expressions of surprise.

"Carter, these people are yours." Alex unceremoniously handed them over to Carter before signaling the others to follow him into the inner room.

"Alex, you're injured?" Steve quickly noticed the wounds on Alex. Under his super-healing ability, there were naturally no wounds, but the large bloodstains made everyone's hearts skip a beat.

Alex casually lifted the hem of his clothes, indicating that the wound had already healed. He then turned to Howard beside him, pointing to the scratches on his clothes, and said with some annoyance, "Howard, didn't you say this suit could withstand a combat knife? What's going on?"

Howard was slightly taken aback. He frowned and walked closer, examining it carefully for a moment before explaining, "That combat knife must not be an ordinary one. It should be made of special materials, similar to your dagger."

Alex thought for a moment and nodded. "Yeah, his combat knife really looks different."

"Alex, who injured you?" As Alex's combat training instructor, Logan was displeased that his disciple had been hurt.

"A scientist!" Alex twitched his lips, explaining somewhat awkwardly.

At this moment, Carter had finished arranging the dozen youths and pushed the door open to come in. Hearing Alex's words, she frowned slightly and asked, "Describe his appearance."

"It's him, Baron Strucker!" After hearing Alex's description, Carter stated with great certainty, "Baron Strucker, a close confidant of Hitler and one of Hydra's leaders, with a status no less than Red Skull's."

"Why is it another Baron again?" Alex's focus was clearly different from everyone else's. Hearing that this Strucker was also a Baron, he couldn't help but complain, "Are Barons really that cheap? Is everyone a Baron!"

"Strucker comes from the Prussian upper aristocracy. His family is full of military leaders; the previous generation served with Bismarck, so his background is very strong. The Baron title is hereditary," Natasha said with a slight smile. "Strucker was recruited by Hitler in '34 and later became the leader of the Skull Commando Unit."

Glancing around at everyone, Natasha continued, "Furthermore, Hydra was actually founded by him. Red Skull took over later. However, his influence within Hydra is immense, no less than Red Skull's."

"So he's quite a big shot!" Alex hadn't expected that he had stumbled upon such a prominent figure by accident. He said with self-deprecation, "I didn't find Baron Zemo, but finding Baron Strucker isn't bad either!"

"Since we have to kill them anyway, let's take care of this one first!" Logan didn't care which Baron it was; he was ready to fight.

"Alright, we'll depart now!" Steve said in a deep voice, adjusting the newly adorned shield on his wrist.

Alex thought for a moment and shook his head. "It's better not to. Doing so will only alert the enemy and be detrimental to our mission of capturing Baron Zemo. The Baron the command wants is Zemo, not Strucker."

"Strucker is also on the command's list, but his difficulty is higher, so the command hasn't issued any related missions for now." Carter, as the liaison officer for the Howling Commandos and the Allies, knew the Allied strategic plans and tactical objectives best.

Hearing this, Alex rolled his eyes and said sarcastically, "Will the command eventually ask us to assassinate Little Mustache?"

"That sounds good, why don't we do it?" Logan's eyes lit up at this suggestion, clearly very interested.

Alex knelt down directly and chuckled, "Uh, I was just kidding, just kidding. Let's go kill the Baron!"

Steve chuckled along, raised his shield, and shouted, "Let's go, we're departing!"

Alex spread his Psionic Power, enveloping Steve, Bucky, Logan, Nick Fury, and Natasha. Teleportation made them disappear from the camp, and in an instant, they were back at the end of the tunnel, before that iron gate.

Alex had no idea what the situation was outside the iron gate. To be safe, Alex chose to make a temporary base here and scout the situation outside first.

Peeking through a small hole, Alex found that the situation outside the door had barely changed since he left. Baron Strucker had gathered over a dozen living people again, seemingly about to conduct human experiments once more.

"The person is outside!" After observing for a moment, Alex turned to look at the people behind him who hadn't moved and said softly, "I'll lead you out later. Once we're out, Steve and Logan will deal with Strucker, Nick and Bucky will handle the Hydra agents inside, and Natasha will be ready to respond." He paused slightly and continued, "I'll go outside and intercept the people out there."

With the plan decided, Alex led the group out to the iron gate.
