Completion remarks for Volume Eight + thanks for tips

Mm, I was feeling a bit unwell, so these remarks came out a day late.

This volume took more than three months and totaled one hundred chapters. What was originally the third part of Volume Seven, the "Luan Chapter," had now concluded as the main portion of Volume Eight.

This volume was divided into two parts.

The first part involved the Saints and mainly laid the groundwork for the world setting. If I ever finished this book and wanted to write another, I could use this background.

The dragon-slaying plot in the second half, well, like the original trip to Firegate Island to destroy the pearl, was one of the core plotlines from when I first began writing. Wasn't the second part all about wrapping a whole platter of dumplings just for that little bit of vinegar?

The draft for the dragon-slaying battle was lost.

Reconstructing it bit by bit from memory was indeed difficult. Updates during that period were utterly cursed, always coming out very late every day—or rather, very early?

Compared to the draft fragments I found later, the changes between the two versions were enormous and conflicted heavily.

In the original draft fragments, a group of Nascent Souls challenged a Celestial Dragon that had been tightly bound. The dragon-slaying process was the Vanguard Plan from Fu Henghua's dragon-slaying strategy. A group of Grandmasters and elite Golden Core Realm cultivators went underwater to slay the dragon at the core seal, while Fu Henghua, as the survival-focused primary support, led a group outside to clear out water demons. Even his parents' manifestations were only meant to deal with the water demons. The standout characters were Zhu Zhengming, the Lord of Heavengate Island, and Fu Danwei. A group of
