Fu Xuanxing is a disciple of Song Chunqiu of the Xuanwei Sect. Originally from the Jinfang Waters, he travelled to Yanlong on a Spiritual Beast given to him by his master, though the beast eventually abandoned him after he neglected to bring its special pill. 76 284

His connection to the Fu Family predates his arrival at Panlong Island. Troubles surrounding him as an infant were sealed with the Southern Bright Li Fire Sword Sheath and the Fu Long Jade Sword; Fu Danwei later entrusted the Jade Sword and its techniques to him. His mother’s history may be connected to Yellow Banner Village, where Fu Xuanxing resonated with jade marrow fragments. 159 458

While residing on Panlong Island, Fu Xuanxing received years of sword instruction from Fu Danwei. Though initially inferior to Fu Liuhui in pure sword technique, he persisted in training and eventually developed swordsmanship beyond that of ordinary Xuanwei Sect disciples. 134 315
