I lost all interest in this story from this point on. I think the biggest problem with Chinese works in general is wanting to rush things to create a sense of urgency and danger, always having Danzo attack the protagonist, making him fight random enemies and become a target for other ninjas. This happens in almost every Naruto novel I’ve read, especially the ones where the character ends up in the Uchiha clan. It makes no sense at all; the story and protagonist were doing really well, and then out of nowhere he seemed to turn into a complete idiot and started acting like a moron, revealing all his secrets and even acting like some young master who slaps people in the face.
