really great naruto fanfic, i like
I dropped at chapter 30 when it became clear there would be a lot of nationalist stuff. If you’re okay with that, the story was decent up until then, but not particularly good.
Good story. Been a while without an update, though.
8.5/10. The first around 500 chapters were really good. MC gets a bit too OP near the end which makes ending somewhat flat, but other than that nice novel.
A surprisingly good DND-esque western fantasy adventure novel, albeit maximum levels so far suggests to be at minimum twice the highest in DND rule 5. The novel has unforced relationship development between characters, the characters themselves are also meaningfully different and interesting. The author has also (thank god) decided to not employ an explicit forced down-your-throat information exposition feeding (hate it) making this somewhat more of a ‘show, not tell’ experience. I also greatly appreciate how the dialogues feel somewhat natural (despite the mtl) and doesn’t totally pull me back to my miserable reality.
But, there’s always a but, despite some great work by the author there are still some eye-piercing immersion breaking ‘plot holes’ that are inextricable and unexplained. First, why is the MC’s name in Chinese despite being from a local farming household in a zone where western names seems to be norm (not explained so far), why does bro also have black hair (isn’t he a local, hello???) and why, despite having living parents (haven’t been killed at the making of this review, ch.170) has there been zero communication (no mention of letters, I understand they’re poor, but come on). There’s also other stuff that I can’t quite remember at the top of my head, but basically it’s those small nit-pickable details that greatly err me.
Despite that, my overall impression has been positive, in fact this is probably one of the only series I kind of actively follow (except from some others on novelupdate) here.
8.5/10. Interesting concept, new take on mage novels.
Became a bit hasty near the end but overall I liked it.Good novel but how the fuck is Danzo still alive. Kill that mf bro it’s ruining the vibe. Like they’re avoiding the main issue 200 chaps in.
The old guys are still in power and nothing substantial had happened politically.
Good thing about this novel are flame powers and minatos space attacks.
1like1 replycurrent chapter list is the official chapter list bro, last chapter is same as what is shows in the original so dont know.
scheduled a rescrape in case it was part of the 69shuba.tw errors
I stopped at the end of soul land and it was a nice short story. author tries to call out some of the bullshit from the original angel clan.
Good fast food fanfic but the relationship with Tsunade and even Shizune was out of nowhere. Ruined the vibe. Like I know it’s Tsunade and fuck the age gap but no romance no nothing just slightly more intimate interaction and then boom they fucking. The fuck. Make the romance make sense if it’s Tsunade my guy. She has trauma and shit. She is mature, this is not teenage love.
I understand the urge to go for Tsunade but turning her into harem npc is just not it. Fuck you. Ruined my vibe today.
Basically a rewrite of canon from the pov of watching the sky…
Literally more written about canon than the actual storyWas refreshing seeing a DD2 story that doesn't involve the bug or electrolux, but the author seems inexperienced with conversations and keeps contradicting himself. I couldn't make it past 25 chapters
I Am The Swarm!
above average fanfic as far as naruto goes. Mind you, it is incredibly progression focused and slow-paced ( the war accounts for the first 600 chapters of the story and is very repetitive). The Mc is cold is invidualistic to a point where there is not a single conversation in 30 chapters. Fights are dynamic and interesting and what kept me coming back to this despite its flaws. Do not read if you are looking for any kind of relationship with any OC, this a MC focused novel.
This is a really fun story for the first 400 Chapters or so, but after that the story starts getting impatient, it goes from moving at a snails pace to insanely ramping up with multiple time skips one after another just to get to the end and ultimately I feel that the Character makes many decisions that don’t fit his Character or where the Story was going, the ending is kind of just a let down TBH.
Would be enjoyable if every damn chapter didn't retcon the previous.
11 out of 10 cookies. Probably one of the best novels currently available on the site. Cultivation fans will enjoy it for sure as it has that constant progression, while also taking great care to make characters interesting and framing cultivators in a refreshing angle, as researchers instead of bloodthirsty maniacs (which doesn't mean there is no combat, because there is actually a lot of it).
Hasn't updated for a while now. Is this dead?
There were a number of chapters posted before, but they've been removed.
EDIT: If the book's finished, where are the rest of the chapters?
