Background / History

Mo Yin encounters Xiao Han after his spatial teleportation separates him from Xiao Xueqin and Medusa. Bound by her clan's marriage rule after he sees her naked, she insists that he marry her and attempts suicide when he refuses. Xiao Han stops her and agrees to marry her if she can make him fall in love with her. She then brings him into the Demon Sect's Sound Hall, where he can remain and cultivate. 177

Although she is Sound Hall's Hall Master, Mo Yin states that she originally came to the Demon Sect because of its name and does not consider herself connected to the sect itself. Her territory is a vast palace complex on Demon Mountain, guarded by black-armored soldiers and connected across mountain peaks by suspension bridges. 177 178

She arranges for Xiao Han to reside in the vice hall master's temporary palace, bluntly declaring that Sound Hall's rules are whatever she says they are. Her protection of him becomes public when she intervenes against Qin Yin, the Divine Sound Army's Third Commander. 179 180
