Background / History

Medusa is the queen and spiritual pillar of the Snake-People Race. Xiao Han first finds her badly burned in the Tagore Desert after her failed attempt to retrieve the Green Lotus Core Flame. The Heavenly Flame’s Fire Poison is spreading through her body, placing her life in danger because of her yin-aligned snake nature. Xiao Han treats her with medicine and medicinal baths until the poison is fully expelled. 84 85 87

Having recovered to Peak Dou Huang, Medusa accepts Xiao Han’s help to retrieve the Green Lotus Core Flame. Protected by Ice Silkworm Soft Armor, she successfully obtains the flame and enters seclusion in the Desert Stone Forest to attempt a dangerous breakthrough. While five Dou Emperors arrive to seize the Heavenly Flame, she entrusts Xiao Han with delaying them and focuses on cultivation. After parting from Xiao Han, Medusa returns to the Snake-People Race. When the Misty Cloud Sect attacks her people, she refuses surrender and fights two five-star Dou Zong despite being only a three-star Dou Zong.
