Silas dove down from above the clouds, locking precisely onto the flying car wobbling through the air. He adjusted his direction and, like a red ghost, silently flew in front of the Ford Anglia's hood.

Then, under Harry and Ron's horrified gazes, he suddenly came to a sharp stop and landed on the hood with a smack!

The Levitating Cloak flapped behind him. Through the glass, he flashed an excessively brilliant smile at his two terrified friends, tapped the window with a finger, and called out teasingly:

"Hi~ you two little idiots~ Need help? The great Sorcerer Supreme Silas Cyril has come to rescue you from your predicament!"

Harry and Ron had been concentrating with all their might—and trembling with fear—as they struggled to keep the flying car following the train. Silas's sudden face-to-face appearance nearly stopped their hearts! The car lurched violently, and Ron let out a scream.

"Silas!" Harry cried, barely managing to steady the steering wheel, both startled and delighted. "You scared us to death! Listen to us! We didn't want to do this! It was the wall at the platform in King's Cross Station! It... it seemed to be sealed! We couldn't get through! We had no choice but to..."

Harry desperately wanted to explain that they were not messing around; they had been forced into this.

Silas pulled his face away from the glass, hovering before the car with his arms crossed as he looked at them in amusement. "Oh? You couldn't get through the wall, so you chose to drive this... well... wonderfully antique relic and stage a Hogwarts Express chase?"

He shook his head, his tone teasing. "Very creative. But are you sure this thing can make it to Hogwarts? It looks like it's about to fall apart."
