Late at night, in the Room of Requirement.
Silas Cyril was practicing spells on a magically conjured dummy. The tip of his wand repeatedly burst forth with that iconic green light that symbolized death—Avada Kedavra.
"Avada Kedavra!"
The green light struck the dummy precisely. It instantly lost all signs of life and collapsed to the floor, only to be restored by magic moments later.
Silas repeated the process expressionlessly. To him, aside from making it more convenient to cast the Unforgivable Curses in actual combat—especially the Killing Curse—a wand truly had little significance. His Vishanti Magic was more powerful and flexible.
[Keep it up, Silas!] the system said with an inappropriately excited tone. [Your Avada Kedavra proficiency is steadily increasing! As long as you successfully use it to kill one real living being, you can achieve another hidden accomplishment and receive a new Darkhold fragment as a reward! Just imagine that powerful dark knowledge!]
Silas stopped, grumbling inwardly, "Go on, tell me where I'm supposed to find a 'real living being' for me to kill. Randomly grab a classmate? My house is Ravenclaw, not Azkaban, thank you very much! Do you expect me to go searching the world for Dark Wizards right now?"
The system seemed stumped. It fell silent for several seconds before offering a suggestion that sounded very "clever"—but was actually extremely dangerous:
[Uh... speaking of dark wizards and Azkaban... Host, how about this? Open a portal and go directly to Azkaban Prison to 'pick' a lucky one? Everyone imprisoned there is a heinous dark wizard who deserves to die! Helping them end their suffering would count as eliminating evil for the people, and you could complete the accomplishment while you're at it. Kill two birds with one stone!]
Silas froze. He had not expected the system to
