"He really is a sewer rat, meow!"
Kijiro had clearly spotted the giant spewing magma in the distance as it approached them. Coupled with Obito's behavior, he guessed Obito had chickened out.
"If he's a rat, then you'll definitely catch him someday, Kijiro!"
Panting, Uchiha Izumi picked Kijiro up, her heart aching at the wounds of all sizes covering him. If Kijiro hadn't held Obito off, she knew she would have been no match for Uchiha Obito.
"Of course, meow!"
"I'm great at catching rats!"
Kijiro shifted in Izumi's arms. He might have been injured, but he wasn't about to lose face.
While Uchiha Izumi and Kijiro chatted, Uchiha Chisen came over to the girl and cat.
"Was Obito the one who attacked you?"
Looking at the injured pair, Uchiha Chisen's eyes flashed with a rare trace of killing intent.
In Tang San's words, Uchiha Obito had already earned himself a death sentence!
Unfortunately, Konan and Nagato had been disappointingly useless. He had already given them information on Uchiha Obito, yet instead of going after Obito, they had turned around and targeted him!
"Yes, meow!"
"His space-time dōjutsu is just too unfair, meow!"
"If it weren't for that weird space-time dōjutsu, Obito wouldn't be all that impressive, meow!"
Kijiro nodded repeatedly. He had held out against Uchiha Obito for several minutes. Although he had spent most of that time taking a beating, surviving Obito at all was already an impressive achievement.
"Space-time dōjutsu..."
Uchiha Chisen nodded. He understood Obito's Kamui very well, and countering it through brute-force methods wouldn't be too difficult.
But if he wanted to catch Obito whenever and wherever he appeared, the Flying Thunder God Technique might be more suitable.
"Once we're back in Konoha, I'll apply to read the scroll for the Flying Thunder God Technique.
