Chisen and Team Guy uncovered Kabuto’s vessel experiments, developed a resonance-based countermeasure, and pursued his research from the Land of Water to the Land of Rice Fields. The arc ended with the team entering Kabuto’s underground facility and reaching his first finished Immune-Integrated Vessel.

• Chisen and Team Guy investigated Nameless Island, where synchronized resonance attacks triggered the vessel’s immune rejection and destroyed it and its cultivation tanks.
• Chisen used Akamatsu Kinpei’s antibodies to create an Awakening Agent while Team Guy raided Kabuto’s Crescent Archipelago facility and destroyed its unfinished core vessel.
• Team Guy escaped a biomechanical sea creature and traced Kabuto’s experiments from the Land of Water to a burned laboratory in the Land of Rivers.
• Tide sent Guy, Chisen, Neji, and Tenten toward the Land of Rice Fields, where they tracked Kabuto’s work to a hidden underground facility in the southern mountains.
• Neji spotted a living subject with six developing glands in a tank, and Chisen identified it as Kabuto’s first finished Immune-Integrated Vessel.
• Guy led the team through the facility’s ventilation system, and Tenten blasted open the central culture chamber as Chisen examined the vessel’s pulsing glands.

Guy’s team destroyed Kabuto’s experiments, defeated him, and rescued the captives and modified jinchuriki at the old Otogakure site. After returning to Konoha, Chisen began helping Academy students face their fears and choose their own paths.

• Chisen confirmed the specimen was irreversibly dead, and Guy’s team left the underground facility with tissue samples before Neji detected thirteen ambushers waiting in the pass.
• Guy used the Eight Gates and the team’s tactics to fight Kabuto’s modified jinchuriki, while Chisen misled Kabuto and the villagers guided them toward a route around the blockade.
• Guy, Neji, Tenten, and Chisen entered the old Otogakure facility, where Kabuto summoned Hashirama, Tobirama, and Minato while preparing five gland transplants.
• Guy and Neji disrupted Kabuto’s defenses, and Guy paralyzed him as his attempt to merge with God Tree cells transformed his body.
• Neji found the six sedated captives alive, and Chisen helped the rescued youths and freed jinchuriki recover before the team returned to Konoha with Kabuto’s records and samples.
• Tsunade approved the mission and granted the team a week of recuperation, during which they rested, visited the baths, and spent time together.
• Chisen visited the Ninja Academy and advised Riku, Aoi, Kenji, Emi, and Lu on their training, fears, and ambitions, then confronted Lu about his guilt over his brother’s death.
