Kinoki, the Target

"Aizen?"

Kinoki stared at Aizen in surprise. After the Three Realms of the Soul Reaper Star merged with the Shadow Star, this man had vanished without a trace.

"Why are you here?"

He had never expected the other man to simply appear on Sea Star.

Aizen smiled at Kinoki.

"I never hid my whereabouts from the beginning. You simply failed to notice, that was all."

From seizing a spaceship on the Shadow Star, passing through the moon, and arriving here, he had never intended to hide anything.

Even some people in the Land of Shadow knew.

Only Kinoki had failed to notice.

Kinoki looked coldly at Aizen before him, his heart sinking completely.

This guy was in the Six Paths Realm. Was there even any hope of escaping?

"You joined forces with Madara Uchiha?"

That was the only reason Aizen could be here now.

"Theoretically, yes."

Aizen replied.

But their alliance was incomparably fragile.

After all, they had only one goal.

The Origin within Kinoki.

The Hōgyoku was responding to him. The Soul King's consciousness was inside Kinoki's body.

"Then what does appearing before me mean?"

Kinoki asked in a low voice.

Aizen smiled faintly, and at some point, a sword had appeared in his hand.

"I'm merely very interested in you."

Kinoki's pupils contracted. He knew Aizen's abilities very well—or rather, the entire Land of Shadow knew them very well.

Aizen spoke slowly. "Kyōka Suigetsu's ability is complete hypnosis. What you see and hear are all what I want you to see and hear. Using it in reality is merely to better suit my needs."

"But it can also accomplish something similar to illusions."
