Uchiha Jin developed Basic Inner Cultivation, passed the Academy exam, and joined Team 7 under Jiraiya while pursuing his own training with Orochimaru. The team’s first mission exposed a plot targeting Kushina, and Hiruzen prepared them for deployment to the front lines in spring.

• Jin befriended Minato Namikaze and Kushina Uzumaki, shared Basic Inner Cultivation with them, and helped Kushina use Kurama’s Chakra to reach the Body Opening Stage.
• Jin trained with Might Duy, demonstrated his strength, and drew Orochimaru’s interest in his cultivation technique and its potential connection to immortality.
• Jin passed the graduation exam, joined Team 7 with Minato Namikaze and Kushina under Jiraiya, and later began working with Orochimaru in a hidden laboratory.
• Jin refused the Uchiha elders’ request to spy on the Hokage’s faction, while Basic Inner Cultivation spread through Konoha and the Golden Finger announced that Jin’s novice period had ended.
• Jiraiya took Team 7 on a mission to investigate Yamada Ichiro, and Jin, Minato, and Kushina discovered that they had been used as bait in a trap targeting Kushina.
• Jin defeated a Chunin with poisoned kunai, Minato unveiled his Four Styles wind technique, and Jin saved him from an enemy ninja with Spirit Gun.
• Kushina pursued a fleeing enemy in her Jinchūriki form and destroyed him with a Tailed Beast Bomb, after which Hiruzen forbade her from using the attack in the village.
• Jiraiya reported that the captured shinobi’s brains had been destroyed, Hiruzen ordered Team 7 to prepare for spring deployment, and he refused Danzō’s demand for control of Kushina and Jin.

Uchiha Jin awakened his Sharingan during Team 7’s mission, then moved between the warfronts as Konoha’s battles with Iwagakure and Sunagakure intensified. At the Sunagakure front, Jin taught Tsunade a poison-extraction technique, and Sakumo Hatake prepared a counterattack while she recovered.

• Kiyoshi Hyuga asked Jin to develop a way to remove the Caged Bird, and Jin later trained with Minato Namikaze and Kushina before confronting Root operatives in the Forest of Death.
• After surviving Orochimaru’s test and months of training, Jin joined Team 7 on a reconnaissance mission, where he awakened his Sharingan while fighting Chudo and defeated the enemy with Kushina and Minato Namikaze.
• Jin accused a village chief of betraying Konoha’s location to Iwagakure, then learned that he and his teammates had been promoted to chunin.
• Orochimaru tested Might Duy, accepted him into his force after Duy opened the Sixth Gate, and led Konoha forces into battle against Sunagakure in the Land of Rain.
• After Sakumo Hatake requested help treating Chiyo’s poison, Jin was transferred to the Sunagakure front and met Kakuzu, offering him work managing Jin’s earnings.
• Sakumo Hatake and Tsunade asked Jin to help treat the poisoned ninjas, and Jin taught Tsunade the Thousand Spider Myriad Poison Hand in exchange for promised access to the Forbidden Scroll.
• Tsunade treated patients until she collapsed, and Sakumo Hatake prepared a counterattack and requested Jin and a capable sensory ninja for his team.

Uchiha Jin accompanied Sakumo Hatake through the Land of Rivers as Sakumo defeated the Sand forces and became known as White Fang. After returning to Konoha, Jin gained access to the Forbidden Scroll and developed the Heavenly Demon Art, while Fugaku, Hachidai, and Uchiha Shin were trapped by Rain and Kirigakure forces during a mission.

• Sakumo Hatake led Uchiha Jin and Aburame Mushihime through the Land of Rivers, defeating Sand forces and their puppet fighters as Jin fought alongside them.
• Sakumo Hatake battled Chiyo and the Third Kazekage, and Jin freed him from the Kazekage’s barrier before Sakumo unleashed a massive Chakra slash that cleaved a mountain range.
• Tsunade arrived with Konoha reinforcements as the Kazekage retreated, and Jin caught the exhausted Sakumo when he collapsed.
• Madara Uchiha learned of Basic Inner Cultivation and ordered Black Zetsu to spread it to the other villages, while Hanzō drove back the allied armies in the Land of Rain.
• Sakumo returned to Konoha and secured Jin permission to study the Forbidden Scroll, which Jin copied and used as a basis for creating the Yin Release technique he named the Heavenly Demon Art.
• Fugaku, Hachidai, and Uchiha Shin investigated missing Kirigakure ninja in the Land of Hot Water and followed traces of the Hiding in Mist Technique toward the Land of Lightning.
• Rain and Kirigakure forces collapsed the ground around Fugaku, Hachidai, and Uchiha Shin, revealing that they had used missing-ninja cases to lure and weaken Konoha squads.

Fugaku awakened his Mangekyō Sharingan during Kirigakure’s assault, while Konoha’s forces fought Iwagakure and Jin scouted Kumogakure. Jin uncovered a possible alliance against Konoha and fought a Kumogakure squad, ending alone against its jonin.

• Fugaku awakened his Mangekyō Sharingan after Uchiha Shin sacrificed himself, and he used Susanoo to save Hachidai while Sarutobi Fuji received news that Kirigakure had declared war.
• Orochimaru battled Hanzō with Manda and his Infinite Great Snake, then warned Hiruzen Sarutobi that Hidden Rock might attack the Iwagakure front as Minato Namikaze and Kushina fought there.
• Jin challenged the Land of Iron’s samurai, defeated Tuoda and Xiang Gui, fought Mifune, and sold him two sword technique scrolls before killing Yilang and the samurai who pursued him.
• Jin and White Fang investigated Kumogakure in the Land of Lightning, captured two cloud ninja, and Jin developed the Soul Insight Technique to search their memories.
• Jin learned that Iwagakure, Sunagakure, Kirigakure, and Kumogakure might be forming an alliance against Konoha, and White Fang sent word of Kumogakure’s planned Jinchūriki force to Konoha.
• Yugito transformed into the Two-Tails to attack White Fang, while Jin fought the forty-eight-ninja vanguard and killed its members until only a Cloud jonin remained against him.
