Clash
At this moment, Coulson was driving his beloved car, the "Lover," with Hawkeye and Black Widow Natasha on board, followed by two armored vehicles.
As Coulson drove, he said, "Barton, you take the Assault Team to the high ground and provide support from outside. If I activate the alarm on my person, you bring your men in to rescue them."
As Barton wiped his longbow, he replied, "Then you should activate the alarm on your body immediately."
"I will. Natasha, you'll come with me to Charlotte's Agency later. I'll be in charge of communicating with them."
Upon hearing Coulson mention her, Natasha replied, "Understood!"
Barton and Natasha didn't talk much on the way, but instead kept thinking about Charlotte Doyle's information.
Coulson quickly arrived at the intersection of 71st Avenue, Forest Hills in Queens, parked the car, and Barton got out to lead the Task Force in setting up defenses.
Seeing that Barton had made all the preparations, Coulson slowly started the vehicle again and drove to the entrance of Charlotte's Agency.
After parking the car, Coulson glanced at the site still under construction next door, then led Natasha toward the Agency.
The Agency doorman, seeing someone approaching, proactively opened the Agency door and rang the doorbell to indicate that a guest had arrived.
Coulson noticed the two extra doormen and one doorman at the entrance and didn't find it strange. It was the kind of unmanned Agency that seemed much stranger.
Walking down the corridor, Coulson and Natasha approached the service desk. Looking at Umino Iruka before them, Coulson took out his Business Card, placed it in front of him, and said, "I'd like to see your boss, Charlotte Doyle."
Iruka looked at the suited agent in front of him and the female agent beside him, picked up the phone at the service desk and said, "Lord Charlotte, Agent Coulson is looking for you with a female agent."
"Understood, I got it!"
Iruka hung up the phone and then said, "Lord Charlotte is waiting for you in the Rest Area."
Following Iruka's gesture, Coulson- class Natasha headed towards the Rest Area.
Upon arriving at the Rest Area, Coulson immediately spotted Charlotte Doyle sitting on the sofa watching the news on television.
Coulson walked over to Charlotte Doyle and sat down on the sofa opposite her with Natasha.
Seeing that it was the kind-hearted Coulson and Black Widow Natasha, Charlotte thought to herself, "Motherfucker, he's sent his core team!" She stopped watching the news and turned to them, slowly asking, "What's the matter?"
Coulson looked at the calm Charlotte Doyle, scrutinized her carefully, and then said, "Didn't you ask us for an explanation?"
Charlotte smiled and then said, "So you admit that the woman named Yelena Morse is a spy you sent?"
Upon hearing Charlotte utter the word "spy," Coulson's expression remained unchanged, but he knew in his heart that Charlotte's words were not simple. He simply asked in return, "So you admit that you murdered Ms. Yelena Morse?"
Charlotte laughed and said, "NO, NO, NO!"
"Agent Coulson, you can't slander an innocent person like that without evidence."
Hearing Charlotte proclaim herself a good person, Coulson's eye twitched, and he thought to himself: You call yourself a good person?
"Charlotte Doyle, you should know that this world is not just about you and the organization behind you, who possess extraordinary power."
Hearing Coulson's serious words, Charlotte chuckled inwardly: Yes, it's definitely not just me. Whether it's the sorcerers of Kamar-Taj, the monks of K'un-Lun, or the infamous Ten Rings, they are all extraordinary forces, and there are even so-called Inhumans superhumans, etc.
Charlotte's expression remained unchanged as she slowly spoke, "So this is the basis upon which you can so brazenly plant spies to spy on others' secrets?"
"You can't be unaware of what this behavior means, can you?"
"Or are you saying, Coulson, that your so-called Department of Homeland Security is preparing for war?"
Seeing that Charlotte wasn't attracted by the other supernatural elements in his words, but instead questioned him about whether he wanted to start a war, Coulson's anger didn't rise. Instead, he wondered what Charlotte was relying on, and he also knew that Charlotte's understanding of the Supernatural World was probably quite extensive.
"Mr. Charlotte, our Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division is primarily responsible for all matters beyond our control, and you are clearly not ordinary people."
"It's perfectly reasonable for us to send people to investigate. Shouldn't you be the one giving me an explanation?"
Charlotte looked at Coulson, who was struggling with her, and knew that a fight was unlikely, so she started arguing. "Coulson, espionage is not protected in any way."
"If you want to pursue this matter, I'll see it through to the end. But if you don't want to pursue it, then let's be frank and have a proper talk."
Hearing that Charlotte wasn't going to stall or argue with him, but instead wanted to talk, Coulson straightened his suit and then said:
"Okay, let's not talk about Ms. Yelena Morse for now."
Upon hearing Coulson's words, Charlotte immediately retorted, "Coulson, I don't care how you handle things or interfere with the supernatural, but spies are not allowed here."
"If we discover the spy, the outcome will be no different from anywhere else."
After speaking, Charlotte made a throat-slitting gesture.
Upon hearing Charlotte's words, Coulson stated righteously, "We do not send spies to their organization."
Natasha, who was watching the two talking, looked up at the ceiling and thought to herself: You two are just talking nonsense. Who would believe a secret service organization doesn't send spies?
"However, as the organization responsible for managing these matters, I need some information from you, and I hope you can cooperate."
"It's not any particularly important information; it won't involve your cultivation, techniques, training systems, or anything like that."
Listening to Coulson's words, Charlotte thought to herself, "I'm afraid these are the things you value most, but you know you can't get them, so you're avoiding the important ones."
Charlotte extended a finger and tapped it on the table in front of her, producing a rhythm that felt oppressive.
As Charlotte struck the door, the atmosphere became heavy.
After thinking for a moment, Charlotte said, "This is Charlotte Agency."
