Charlotte Doyle, the God of Shinobi
Upon arriving at the press conference, Charlotte and Ginny waved to each other, and then Ginny led Charlotte to the main stage.
At this moment, Pepper Potts stood outside the reporters' area, a professional smile on her face, looking at Charlotte Doyle on the stage.
Pepper Potts glanced at the man standing beside her and suddenly said, "You're here again, Agent Coulson."
Phil Coulson removed his hat and replied, "This is something that S.H.I.E.L.D.. definitely needs to be involved in."
Pepper Potts stared straight ahead and said calmly, "Aren't you going to suppress this time?"
Coulson looked at Pepper Potts and then slowly said, "We're just offering advice. The final choice is up to the individual. After all, we didn't stop Tony after he chose to acknowledge himself as Iron Man."
"And we will respect Mr. Charlotte Doyle's choice as much as we respect Tony Stark."
Pepper Potts remained silent in the face of Agent Coulson's high-sounding words, except for a professional smile.
At this moment, Charlotte Doyle stepped onto the stage of the press conference, picked up the microphone from the table, and slowly began to speak, "A lot has happened recently, especially the battle that took place on 71st Avenue, Forest Hills, Queens."
"I believe all the media and journalists are here today for this very moment, but before we begin, I'd like to clarify my own perspective."
Charlotte looked at the crowd below the stage, then slowly began to speak, "I am Charlotte Doyle, a businessman, a wealthy capitalist, and a philanthropic businessman with a kind heart."
Hearing Charlotte's words, the many reporters in the audience nodded in agreement. Based on the information that had been disclosed, Charlotte was absolutely right.
"But I am not a savior, nor a superhero, not some superman who wears his underwear on the outside and appears wherever there is a disaster to save everyone."
"I have my own life, and I have my own job."
"Besides that, I also have a Agency named after myself. If you need help, you can go to the Agency to request tasks, but the price is not cheap, so you need to be prepared!"
Seeing Charlotte so openly promoting her Agency, Coulson's jaw dropped. Was she here to advertise?
"Alright, that's all I wanted to say. Now it's time for questions. I'll randomly select a few reporters to answer."
Charlotte glanced at the crowd below and then said, "First reporter in the first row on the left, you may ask one question, only one, and I have the right not to answer."
Upon hearing that he was the first to be mentioned, the reporter was somewhat excited, while his colleagues beside him cast envious glances.
The reporter stood up and said, "I'm a reporter from ABC News. Mr. Charlotte Doyle, in the big battle that took place on 71st Avenue, Forest Hills, Queens, you were the one Uniform that superhero called Abomination, right?"
Upon hearing the reporter's question, Charlotte glanced at the curious gazes of the crowd below and then said, "I'm not a superhero, but I was indeed the one Uniform Abomination!"
As Charlotte finished speaking, the scene fell silent for three seconds, followed by an uproar. Reporters frantically pressed their shutter buttons, and countless flashes shone on Charlotte's face, as if trying to blind him.
Coulson, standing on the periphery, wore a faint smile, thinking to himself, "It's good that you admitted it. This wasn't something we wanted to put you in the spotlight; it was your own choice."
Ginny looked at Charlotte Doyle on the stage with a hint of admiration in her eyes, but then, as if she had thought of something, her gaze hardened.
About half a minute later, Charlotte stretched out her hands, signaling everyone to be quiet.
Seeing Charlotte's gesture, the reporters present gradually calmed down.
"Then I'll call on the next reporter to ask a question."
"Third row, sixth reporter from left to right."
The reporter who was called on stood up and then said, "I'm a reporter from CBS. Mr. Charlotte, when Iron Man fought Iron Monger in Stark Industries, were you the mysterious person Tony mentioned?"
When the CBS reporter asked about the battle that made Iron Man famous, Charlotte hesitated for a moment before saying, "At the time, someone told me that my friend was being persecuted, so I couldn't stand idly by and went to the scene to help him out a little."
As she spoke, Charlotte gestured with her fingers to indicate that her help was minimal, and that the real contribution came from Iron Man Tony Stark.
Charlotte, however, did not want to take on too much responsibility in this matter and steal Tony's thunder.
At this point, the reporter pressed on, confirming, "So, the mysterious powerful figure present was you, Mr. Charlotte Doyle!"
Charlotte nodded, then said, "Yes, it's me!"
The journalists got the answers they wanted and were very satisfied. It could be said that, besides the news about Iron Man Tony Stark, another explosive news story was about to be delivered from their hands.
Charlotte glanced at the crowd below the stage, then said, "There's one last question. That'll be for the reporter in the last row, from left to right."
Eddie Brock, who was called out by name, was extremely excited. He had gone through a lot of trouble to get into this press conference, and he never expected to be called out. He immediately stood up and excitedly said, "I am Eddie Brock, a reporter from the Global Daily. Mr. Tony Stark has a resounding title: Iron Man."
"So, Mr. Charlotte, what name do you plan to give yourself? Or will you take the suggestions of the masses? I've seen some websites that have suggested names like Green Boy, Flash Boy, or Green Lantern, after all, you were once enveloped in a green aura."
Charlotte was slightly taken aback when she heard the reporter's name. She hadn't expected that there would be Venom Eddie Brock in her universe. But before she could even feel amused, Eddie's next words made her facial muscles twitch.
What kind of ridiculous nicknames are these? Even Green Lantern is being used! And those two nicknames from before are just awful. If people actually started calling them those names, wouldn't that be incredibly embarrassing?
Charlotte's expression was solemn, and her voice was steady as she said, "I am a ninja, and you may call me the God of Ninjas!"
