Investigation
After pointing to one of the photos, Nick Fury pointed to another, this time featuring Drake Stone, who had won the title of Magician of the Year for several consecutive years.
"This is the building Charlotte visited yesterday when she unleashed her energy. On the top floor of this building lives a Magician with Feudal Lord."
"Based on the intelligence you obtained today, we analyze that Charlotte may have gone here to see him, but according to our investigation, Drake Stone has disappeared and his whereabouts are unknown."
"Based on surveillance footage, he was recently seen at New York University and Battery Park, so we are quite certain that he is a Mage."
"The only unfortunate thing is that Drake Stone disappeared last night, and his agent is also unable to contact him. We don't know what happened at the moment."
Coulson looked thoughtfully at the subject in the photo. At this moment, Nick Fury spoke again, "Arrange for personnel to retrieve information on all well-known Magician or those who have performed unbreakable yet incredible magic tricks. Arrange for agents to observe and communicate with them."
"We must find all these Superhuman hidden within the Magician industry."
"Understood, Director. I'll arrange for someone to investigate the Magician immediately."
"What are your plans, Director, regarding Charlotte's request for cooperation?"
Upon hearing Coulson's suggestion, Nick Fury rejected it without hesitation. "Impossible, we can't agree to his request."
Coulson was unaware of the Tesseract's importance, but Nick Fury was well aware that it was a treasure coveted by other powerful empires in the universe, its value immeasurable.
Trading the Tesseract for ownership of a Living Planet is perfectly acceptable, and S.H.I.E.L.D.. is even researching the Tesseract for weapons development.
The only weapon he could think of that could be used to counter Superhuman was why it was given to Hidden Leaf Village just because of a few exchange study opportunities.
But this incident confirmed for Nick Fury one thing even more: the other party also wanted the Tesseract.
"Coulson, you can talk to him about other requests, or increase the number of Energy Block; these are not problems."
"Or we could recruit some ninjas into S.H.I.E.L.D.. on a special basis. We're willing to use Energy Block as their salary and pay them an additional amount in Energy Block as compensation."
Upon hearing the Director's suggestion, Coulson had already mentally sentenced the matter to death. He had already sensed from the conversation that even if the department were willing to give up the Tesseract, the other party might not agree.
Under these conditions, there is no hope at all. Moreover, Konoha can obtain a large number of Energy Block just from selling information, while S.H.I.E.L.D.. has no choice but to accept the other party's information sales.
Because apart from Charlotte Doyle, S.H.I.E.L.D.. currently has no other way to obtain information about the Supernatural World.
"Director, I will try my best to negotiate with them, but the chances of reaching an agreement are not very high."
Nick Fury looked at Coulson, hesitated for a moment, and then continued, "Do your best. I believe in you."
"Clear!"
Coulson then went to Nick Fury's office to arrange for his agents to collect and screen information on Magician.
At this moment, Nick Fury was alone in his office. He pulled out his last hope from his pocket: Captain Marvel's Pager.
Staring at the Pager in his hand, Nick Fury drifted into the distance, then he murmured, "Prime Merlinian ruler of Mage, will he protect humanity?"
"If they really exist, why have they never shown themselves, and why did we not find any trace of them even during World War I and World War II?"
"Back then, Red Skull was preparing to destroy the world..."
"I don't believe in their existence, and I would never entrust the safety of humanity to such people."
"Human safety must be protected by S.H.I.E.L.D..; I don't trust anyone else to do it..."

Three days have passed since Coulson came to provide intelligence advice.
Over the course of three days, Charlotte earned 50 Gold Coin, 60,000 copper coins, and 200 Reincarnation Stone through the daily check-in system.
As for the Ninja Shop, it has refreshed with some special Ninja Fragment, such as ninjas like the Hanabi Hyuga, Natsuhi Festival Tenten, and Winter Sakura Haruno, or some ninjas that are very difficult to refresh. I don't know if Merlin's blessing has ended or if my luck is really like a wave, and it is currently at a low point.
This explains why Charlotte didn't spend any Gold Coin to buy any Ninja Fragment.
Charlotte was sitting in the car with Ginny next to her. They were heading to the conference room at the Continental Hotel ahead to hold High Table via video link.
"Boss, these are the Gold Coin for the recovery room, forged according to your specifications at our Armory."
Seeing Ginny open the small box of Gold Coin, Charlotte took out one of them and examined it in her palm. The front of the Gold Coin still bore the Continental Hotel's logo, but Gold Coin back had been changed to the Konoha Village logo.
After weighing the Gold Coin in her hand, Charlotte said, "Alright, let's put them into the market."
Charlotte then inserted the Gold Coin into the box.
John Wick soon arrived at the hotel entrance, where the hotel manager Winston, was already waiting. Upon seeing Charlotte's car parked at the entrance, he immediately went forward and opened the car door.
"Welcome, Elder Charlotte."
"Everything in the meeting room is ready for you."
Charlotte stepped out of the Rolls-Royce, looked at the respectful Winston at the door, patted him on the shoulder, and said with a smile, "Thank you for your hard work."
Winston smiled and said, "It's all I should do. It's an honor for the New York Continental Hotel to have you choose to hold the meeting here."
Charlotte nodded without saying anything more, and led Ginny and John Wick into the Continental Hotel.
Upon entering the Continental Hotel, Charlotte's assassins all looked at this legendary figure in the assassin world with utmost respect.
The assassins wearing hats all simultaneously removed their hats, while the others placed their right hands on their chests and bowed in allegiance.
Seeing the attitude of the many assassins in the hotel, Charlotte didn't stop to say anything. Instead, she followed Winston to the conference room on the top floor of the hotel.
As Charlotte immediately entered the hotel's public area corridor, a commotion erupted within the hotel.
A new recruit to the Continental Hotel asked curiously, "Isn't he a superhero? How come he's in the Continental Hotel, where we assassins just returned?"
At this moment, the assassin beside him began to tell the newcomer the story of the Legendary Assassin, Ninja Master Charlotte.
