Good Luck
"Which of you saw the key to the evidence room? Why wasn't it put in the designated place?"
Upon hearing Cui Jie's question, the on-duty police officer immediately replied, "The key to the evidence room was taken by Ah Bin this evening and hasn't been returned yet; he probably forgot about it."
"This guy is completely breaking the rules."
Upon hearing that the keys had been taken away and not returned, Cui Jie cursed under his breath and left the office. He went to Li Zhongzhi, who was sitting in the Rest Area, and said, "Sorry, Zhongzhi, a police officer took the keys home. How about you come and pick them up tomorrow morning? It's getting late, you should go back and rest."
"Tomorrow, I promise you'll get those things if you come tomorrow morning."
Seeing Cui Jie's serious expression, Li Zhongzhi didn't insist. "Then I'll come tomorrow morning."
Seeing that he couldn't get his daughter's things tonight, Li Zhongzhi gave up and went to Charlotte and the others, saying, "Mr. Charlotte, we won't be able to get my daughter's personal belongings tonight; we'll have to wait until tomorrow."
"Okay, then tomorrow morning. But we can't delay any longer. The longer we delay, the worse it will be for your daughter."
"Let's go, rest for a bit, and come back tomorrow."
Charlotte took Li Zhongzhi and got into a High Table car, which drove directly to the Continental Hotel.
After seeing Li Zhongzhi and the others leave, Cui Jie received a call from his father-in-law and went directly to his father-in-law's house.
His father-in-law was the police Director, and seeing his father-in-law sitting in the living room, he sat directly on the sofa opposite him.
"Dad, Tingting asleep?"
Upon hearing that Cui Jie's first concern upon returning was for his daughter, a smile appeared on his face.
"Tingting is asleep now. She's in a good mood today, and the baby in her belly isn't moving or kicking."
Hearing his father-in-law's story, Cui Jie's face lit up with happiness, but he still asked, "Dad, did you call me here for something?"
"Cui Jie, I heard that the Hong Kong is back again?"
When Cui Jie heard his father-in-law suddenly mention Li Zhongzhi, he was taken aback. Although the case was not small, it probably wouldn't catch the Director's eye, since it was currently just a missing person case.
"Yes, he came to the police station tonight to collect his daughter's belongings, and this time he brought an accomplice. He seemed quite confident."
As for the two children, one man and two women, who were with Charlotte Cui Jie completely ignored them.
Upon hearing that Li Zhongzhi had not only returned but also brought helpers, the Director frowned slightly before relaxing. Others might not know the ins and outs of the matter, but he knew it all perfectly well.
All of this was orchestrated by the incredibly powerful Zheng Hanshou, who also had leverage over Zheng Hanshou. Li Zhongzhi's daughter, on the other hand, was the heart that even higher-ups urgently needed to replace.
As for the people Li Zhongzhi brought, the Director didn't care at all. In Bangkok, how could an outsider possibly cause any trouble? He then said seriously:
"Cui Jie, after you hand over the items to them tomorrow, you shouldn't get involved in this case anymore."
"This case will be closed soon."
Hearing his father-in-law's words, Cui Jie was somewhat confused and questioned him:
"Dad, why?"
"This is a case that could potentially involve a life; how can we just give up like this?"
"And what do you mean by saying this case will be over soon?"
Upon hearing his son-in-law's question, the Director did not provide an answer. Instead, he spoke with a serious expression and a firm tone, "Listen to me on this matter. Don't interfere anymore."
"That's an order!"
Hearing his father-in-law say that, Cui Jie was also annoyed, so he didn't linger and went straight back to his home.
Back home, Cui Jie didn't sit idle. Remembering Li Zhongzhi's words, he began to search for the name Charlotte Doyle online.
He wanted to know what kind of being could give Li Zhongzhi the confidence that, despite having no leads yet, this being could bring back his daughter.
As Charlotte Doyle's name was entered, a large amount of information quickly popped up.
It wasn't a local Thailand report, but an United States news report. Looking at the English description, Cui Jie carefully examined it.
Charlotte Doyle, the second-largest individual shareholder of Stark Industries, a superhero and God of Ninjas, saves people from fire and water...
Looking at the introduction and the short combat video, Cui Jie was stunned, then muttered to himself, "Is this a movie trailer?"
"Is United States about to have a new Captain America?"
If it weren't for the existence of Tony Stark (Iron Man) and Captain America in history, Cui Jie would hardly believe that all of this was real.
Even so, Cui Jie still couldn't believe it, but the news reports above, and the fact that Charlotte Doyle's name was indeed listed as a shareholder of Stark Industries, made him think that it was all just movie publicity.
"It seems Li Zhongzhi has really found a big shot. I just wonder how that person plans to help him find his daughter."
"Finding someone isn't something that can be solved with brute force..."
Then Cui Jie thought of Charlotte Doyle's wealth; if he used his money, it wasn't impossible.
After gaining a new perspective on Li Zhongzhi's matter, Cui Jie closed his notebook and went back to his room to sleep.

Triskelion.
In Nick Fury's office.
"Director, according to the latest news, Charlotte Doyle has become the leader of the High Table and, earlier today, flew to Bangkok, Thailand, on a private plane known as the High Table."
Upon hearing his subordinate's report, Nick Fury pondered for a moment before asking, "Have you found out why he went to Bangkok?"
"Because no surveillance equipment can be installed near the Agency, the investigation is quite complicated. However, we still managed to reach a conclusion based on surveillance footage from other areas."
At this moment, the agent took out a photograph, and the person in the photograph was Li Zhongzhi.
"This man is a Hong Kong police officer who recently reported his daughter missing in Bangkok, Thailand, but to no avail."
"According to the call records we retrieved, it was his friend who advised him to go to Charlotte Agency to request a mission and find a solution."
"And at the New York Airport, airport staff did indeed see him board the High Table's private jet with Charlotte Doyle."
Listening to his subordinate's explanation, Nick Fury chuckled, "Such a small mission, and the God of Ninjas has to accept it and personally handle it? Is he going out for a stroll?"
"Li Zhongzhi is lucky; he actually managed to find Charlotte Agency."
