Banquet (Part 2)

After Odin's brief opening remarks, the banquet officially began.

Charlotte glanced at the people at the banquet. There were hardly any he recognized. After looking around, he could only recognize Thor, the Sif of earth and harvest, and Fandral, Volstagg, and Hogun, who were known as the Warriors Three.

The Ancient One seemed to sense Charlotte's thoughts, and simply said, "On Earth, it's difficult to effectively extract the energy one needs. In fact, these things aren't as helpful as you imagine."

Charlotte pondered. Not everyone in the Asgard was powerful, but they were all very long-lived; a lifespan of 5,000 years was truly astonishing.

Charlotte didn't care about any of that. Since these fruits and delicacies could replenish the energy needed by her body's cells, why be polite? She could just start eating.

"I am Thor, the God of Thunder. It's a pleasure to meet you."

Seeing Thor reach out his hand, Charlotte shook hands with him briefly.

"I am Charlotte Doyle, it's a pleasure to meet you."

The four retrieved their staffs and approached Balthazar: "Master Balthazar, the Agency has been fully restored."

Balthazar nodded, then continued, "To prevent Prime Merlinian's Agency from being destroyed again, let's work together to construct a magic circle for it."

"That's how it should be. Although we don't understand why the great Prime Merlinian stayed here, we are willing to do our part."

Balthazar pushed open the door of the Agency, led everyone inside, and began setting up a defensive Formation.

Ginny then took out her phone and sent a message to Shizune, telling them that the Agency Reparo and asking them to come and check if the original experimental data and information had also been recovered.

Tsunade and Shizune, who rushed to the scene after hearing the news, were just as shocked as Ginny when they saw the Agency Reparo. Tsunade thought to herself, "It seems magic does have its merits."

At that moment, Ginny arrived at the Laboratory entrance. Seeing the excited two, she asked, "The experimental data and samples weren't lost, were they?"

"Nothing is lost, everything is still here."

"Very good!"

Ginny knew that if everything was still in place, then her turn to be strengthened wouldn't be far off.

After being rejected, Thor gave up on his idea and instead pulled Charlotte aside to tell him the story of Earth, even asking Charlotte if she knew the story of Jane Foster.

Although she still had a Light Stone that she hadn't recharged, and a Grimhold that would unlock another layer in four days, Charlotte decided to give up on the Anko fragment for now, considering that Sakura Haruno hadn't materialized yet, even though the other party's price wasn't high.
