The One-Eyed Dragon Comes Calling
John Wick seemed thoughtful; he felt there was more to it than met the eye, but he didn't ask any further questions.
"Wesley, Cross, you two stay at the base to oversee the Werewolf training and ensure the base's security. Don't let anyone infiltrate."
"John, could you please drive me to the Agency? I have some things to take care of."
Wesley and Cross nodded. "We'll keep a close eye on them and make the necessary preparations for the match."
Ginny got into the car, and John drove towards the Agency.
As soon as the car left the base, Ginny took out her phone and tried to contact Dave, Charlotte's junior, but the call went unanswered as the phone was out of service.
Hearing the notification tone on the phone, Ginny knew that Dave must have returned to the Magic World to train. After hanging up, Ginny looked at the setting sun outside the car, feeling very worried about Charlotte's situation. Without accurate information, she couldn't put her mind at ease, and at the same time, she felt an unprecedented urgency to improve her own strength.
Just before it got completely dark, Ginny arrived at the Agency. As soon as the car came to a stop, the doorman opened the door for her.
After getting out of the car, Ginny went straight into the Agency without stopping, heading directly to her room. She took out a special magical paper and wrote on it, "An emergency has occurred. Archmage Balthazar is requested to return immediately upon receiving this message."
Ginny also wrote a similar message to Dave, but she was worried that Master Balthazar might have other things to do on the other side and wouldn't be able to receive the message in time.
After writing her message on two pieces of magical stationery, Ginny folded them into the shape of Paper Crane and took the two boxes to the practice room where Balthazar had taught Dave and Charlotte magic.
However, the floor of this Training Room was engraved with Merlin Array, and it had been modified by Balthazar and several mages some time ago.
After entering the Training Room, Ginny placed two folded Paper Crane onto a magical mark in Merlin Array and left the Merlin Array. About three seconds later, the Paper Crane disappeared from the room in a flash of light.
Seeing the Paper Crane disappear, Ginny knew it had worked; all that was left was to wait for their arrival.
The two missing Paper Crane reappeared in the Magic World. After circling around once, each chose a direction and flew quickly toward their target.

Stark Seaside Villa.
"How about this? You use the Chakra Threads to activate the switch. Once activated, the Arc Reactor will fire lasers directly from the Puppet's eyes to attack the enemy."
"This will not affect the trajectory of the Kunai launched from inside the Puppet, and will also increase its attack power and versatility."
"The only thing that needs adjustment is the structure of the Puppet's brain and eyes. After all, to keep the parts simple, we don't need to make it like Superman's eyes shooting out two beams."
Kankuro glanced at the miniature Arc Reactor Tony had provided, thought for a moment, and then said, "I can modify the Puppet's eyes into an inverted triangle shape, which would make it easier to use for attacks."
"However, I need to cover the Arc Reactor's light source with something, otherwise it's too obvious on the Puppet's head."
Tony took a black metal plate from the control panel and placed it in front of Kankuro.
"You can use this material to block the light source; it can perfectly block the light from the Arc Reactor."
"All you need to do is design a small mechanism to store the laser during the attack and release it afterward."
"I suggest setting the Unibeam's power to three levels. One is a normal attack, where each laser attack consumes 10% of the energy, allowing you to use it multiple times during a battle."
"The Second Gear is fifty percent. When facing some powerful enemies, you can use it as a finishing move, but you only have one or two attack opportunities."
"The third level involves using all its power to unleash the strongest laser attack, but it only allows for one use. After that, the Arc Reactor will be overloaded and fail."
This was Tony's idea to use an Arc Reactor purely for offensive purposes, but such a use was not suitable for him. His Arc Reactor not only needed to provide energy for some attacks, but also needed to be responsible for the power of the Jaeger.
Kankuro's eyes lit up when he heard Tony's suggestion. "Excellent suggestion! Now my Puppet will be even more powerful."
Without any delay, Kankuro immediately began modifying his Crow Puppet.
It was already dark when Tony watched Kankuro begin his work. Tony felt a little hungry and was about to order a pizza when Jarvis's voice rang out.
"Sir, we have a guest."
"The person who has arrived is Nick Fury, the Director S.H.I.E.L.D.."
Hearing Jarvis's words, Tony frowned slightly, thinking to himself, "What's this annoying guy doing here again?"
"Not see."
"No, just say I'm not here."
Five seconds later, Jarvis spoke again, "Sir, the Villa's security system has been tampered with; he's already inside."
Upon hearing that his security procedures had been tampered with again, Tony angrily cursed, "Damn it, not again!"
"It seems I'll have to design the security procedures myself."
Tony glanced at Kankuro, who was completely absorbed in modifying the Puppet, and said, "You stay here and focus on modifying it. I'm going upstairs to meet this guy."
Without waiting for Kankuro's reply, Tony opened the door to the underground Laboratory and headed upstairs.
Tony jogged up to the lobby, where Nick Fury was lounging comfortably with his legs crossed and arms outstretched on the back of the sofa.
On the coffee table in front of them was a KFC Bucket, complete with hamburgers, cola, fries, chicken legs, and more.
Tony walked up, looked at the One-Eyed Dragon in front of him, and said directly, "What are you doing here again, you head of the secret service?"
As they were talking, Tony sat down on the sofa, reached for a hamburger on the table, and started eating; he was clearly quite hungry.
Nick Fury smiled inwardly when he saw that Tony hadn't refused the food he'd brought; he'd definitely brought the right thing.
"I guessed you hadn't eaten, so I brought you a hamburger."
Tony devoured the hamburger in no time and wiped his mouth with a tissue.
"I've received the hamburger, you can leave now."
Tony, however, showed no politeness whatsoever. "Since you say you're delivering hamburgers, well, the food's here, you can leave now."
Nick Fury was speechless after being rebuffed by Tony; the guy was really sharp-tongued. So he cut to the Gate of Opening and said, "We sensed a surge of Chakra energy at your Villa, and you just ordered us to seal off the nearby waters."
Nick Fury asked seriously, "What exactly happened?"
Looking at the serious-looking Nick Fury, Tony didn't answer his question. Instead, he exclaimed with an exaggerated expression, "You're spying on me?"
However, Nick Fury's expression remained unchanged. "All unstable factors will be under our surveillance."
"And we're worried something might happen to you here."
Listening to Nick Fury's words, Tony was filled with disdain. Having witnessed how the Magic World protected the world, he was utterly contemptuous of these agents' arrogant ideas.
"Whom can you monitor, and who can you actually monitor?"
"Are you able to control those people in Asgard, or find those Mage, or rather, track down the ninjas?"
"As for my place, nothing unexpected happened, and there was no fighting."
Tony immediately berated Nick Fury, stating that there were no surprises and telling him to get lost if he had nothing else to say.
However, Nick Fury looked Tony up and down, remained silent for a moment, and then asked, "How do you know about Mage?"
During Nick Fury's investigation, Tony had no knowledge of anything related to magic. He knew about ninjas because of Charlotte, and he knew about Asgard because the battle in Mexico was quite significant, destroying a small town, and they had also searched for Tony during that time.
But as for the Mage, Nick Fury was quite certain that Tony had not had any contact with them, and even S.H.I.E.L.D.. itself had only heard of them but had not yet met any real Mage.
"I have my own intelligence network, is it strange that I know about Mage?"
Nick Fury said, word by word, "That's strange!"
"Even we at S.H.I.E.L.D.. only know that there are Mage, but we've never seen one."
Tony said with a sneer, "Then you guys are really pathetic."
"He's someone I've never even seen Mage, yet he claims to be secretly protecting the Earth."
Nick Fury's eyes darted around. He wasn't sure how much information Tony had about Mage, or how Tony had obtained it, but he still humbled himself and asked:
"We've never seen these Mage with extraordinary powers before. Tony, could you perhaps enlighten me?"
"After all, you are still an advisor to S.H.I.E.L.D.., and I have a lot to ask you about this."
However, Tony didn't buy into Nick Fury's act and remained completely silent about the Magic World, not even mentioning the existence of Mage. This was because the fact that S.H.I.E.L.D.. had withheld his father's inheritance filled Tony with distrust of the intelligence agency.
Furthermore, Tony didn't believe that telling the other party about the Mage would do anything to protect the world; it would only fuel the ambition and greed of certain individuals.
Tony knew all too well what the resources of a world represented, especially since this world wasn't an ordinary one, but a Magic World. If Nick Fury found out, who knew what kind of trouble he would cause.
No matter how Nick Fury tried to reason with Tony or use provocation, Tony didn't reveal a single piece of information.
Even Nick Fury wanted to exchange his gratitude for helping the other party upgrade the Arc Reactor for detailed information, but considering the mismatch in value, Tony didn't speak up.
Nick Fury would be more than willing to get information out of Tony for free, since he needed Energy Block to get information from Charlotte. However, Tony felt it wasn't worth it to do Tony a favor.
Having determined that he couldn't get any information about the Mage from Tony, Nick Fury returned to the matter at hand.
"Tony, I need to report the reason for the blockade of the sea area."
Before Tony could speak, Nick Fury continued, "We also detected a surge in Chakra energy; the cause of this must be investigated."
Tony knew he couldn't keep quiet, otherwise this One-Eyed Dragon would definitely not give up and would keep him here. Besides, instructing Kankuro and sparring with him wasn't exactly a top secret.
He knew that the surveillance satellites overhead couldn't have missed absolutely nothing, so he spoke up:
"There was a young fellow in Sunagakure who I thought was quite good, so I sparred with him and gave him some pointers."
"As for the Chakra energy surge, it's probably because your instruments detected the opponent's use of Chakra."
Nick Fury nodded; this was pretty much what he had guessed. The only difference was the other person's identity—they were a ninja from Sunagakure, not Konoha.
Tony is good at getting to know the other party, but he hasn't obtained a single piece of information on this.
"I wonder what's so special about this child from Sunagakure that would earn the favor of Iron Man Tony Stark."
Seeing that this intelligence chief still wanted to extract information from him, Tony immediately stood up and showed him away.
"Now that you know the cause of the energy surge, you can go back. I need to continue my research."
Seeing that Nick Fury seemed about to say something, Tony's expression changed, and he said, "Do you need me to put on my armor and throw you out?"
Seeing that Tony was really kicking him out, Nick Fury didn't linger in the room and turned to leave, since he had already achieved his purpose for coming today.
Watching Nick Fury leave, Tony picked up the family bucket meal from the table and headed downstairs to the Laboratory. Not only was he hungry, but the little guy downstairs hadn't eaten either.
Upon arriving at the Laboratory downstairs, Kankuro had already modified the Crow Puppet and was conducting debugging work.
Tony took out a hamburger and placed it in front of Kankuro: "Eat up, you haven't eaten all day, you must be hungry."
Looking at the hamburger on the table, Kankuro didn't eat it right away, but said, "I'll eat it after I finish testing."
Pakkun, who had been lying on the ground, stood up and shouted, "Tony, give me a chicken leg!"
Tony took a fried chicken leg from the family bucket and placed it in front of Pakkun: "I haven't forgotten you."
After speaking, Tony patted Pakkun's head, but Pakkun didn't seem to care at all and started eating a fried chicken leg.
