Selling Information
After seeing Coulson sign the mission Commission Form, Charlotte began to recount information about Itachi Uchiha.
"Itachi Uchiha, a young genius of the Uchiha Clan, whose father was the head of the Uchiha Clan."
"At the age of 4, Itachi killed an enemy ninja who ambushed him; this was Itachi's first killing. He entered the Ninja Academy at the age of 6 and graduated from the Ninja Academy in just one year. He awakened his Sharingan at the Chunin at the age of 10, joined the Anbu at the age of 11, became Anbu Captain at the age of 13, and possessed the strength of Kage Level ninja at the age of 18, before becoming missing-nin."
Charlotte had modified this account of Itachi Uchiha's life, but that didn't stop him from telling it to Coulson.
Coulson was also astonished. He hadn't expected that Itachi Uchiha would be able to kill a local ninja at the age of four. He wondered what level of ninja it was; at that age, it should have been Genin.
Meanwhile, Coulson had even more questions in his mind: Who were the enemy ninjas of Konoha, and which ninja village were they?
What exactly is the Sharingan? And what kind of organization is the Anbu, and what does it represent in Konoha?
And the speed at which he was promoted was astonishing. According to what he knew, the Ninja Academy was a six-year system, yet this Itachi Uchiha was already an Anbu Captain after just leaving Bekyo.
At the same time, they were also very curious about why the son of the Uchiha Clan Head betrayed the village. The son of the Uchiha Clan leader who founded Konoha Village was the son of a five-star general who was the founder of the country. Such a mission to betray the country sounded unbelievable.
Although Coulson had many questions in his mind, he did not interrupt Charlotte's speech.
"This is the number of recorded missions that Itachi Uchiha carried out during his time in Konoha: 53 D-rank missions, 152 C-rank missions, 134 B-Rank Mission, and 1 S-rank mission."
"Furthermore, he excels in Fire Style, Genjutsu, and Taijutsu, making him a very well-rounded ninja."
Charlotte's account was very comprehensive, covering almost all the key information about Itachi Uchiha.
At this moment, Coulson saw Charlotte stop and asked the question that had been on his mind.
What is the Sharingan?
Charlotte glanced at Coulson, surprised that his first question was this, but she still spoke up:
"The Sharingan is a special ability of the Uchiha Clan."
"Possesses powerful abilities such as observation, copying, and hypnosis. The holder has superhuman insight, can observe Chakra flow, can cast and see through Genjutsu, and can copy Taijutsu and non- Kekkei Genkai Ninjutsu."
"The Sharingan is one of the three great Dojutsu!"
There's a saying in the Ninja World: if you encounter a member of the Uchiha Clan in a one-on-one fight, you must run away.
Listening to Charlotte's words, Coulson found himself confused about something new, but he also realized that it was a powerful ability with the effect of hypnotizing people.
Clearly, Coulson's understanding of the Sharingan was not comprehensive enough, and he then asked, "What is the Anbu?"
"I just heard you mention it."
Upon hearing that Coulson had finally noticed something other than the Uchiha, he then said, "This is additional intelligence; it requires 50 Energy Block."
After thinking about it for a moment, Coulson decided to ask about the issue.
"The Special Assassination and Tactical Squad, abbreviated as 'Anbu,' are directly commanded by the Hokage and are a special operations organization."
"The members of the Anbu are all outstanding ninjas selected from the village. Their main tasks are to protect the Hokage and prevent foreign enemies from invading Konoha Ninja. Sometimes they are also responsible for reconnaissance and assassination missions."
As Charlotte explained, Coulson frowned slightly. The intelligence agency had considerable power, and it seemed that the ninja village was larger than they had guessed.
"Mr. Charlotte, there are wars even among ninjas?"
Charlotte, but didn't say much on the matter, Coulson didn't delve into it further either.
"Mr. Charlotte, may I ask why Itachi Uchiha betrayed the village?"
"Given his status and position, there are still some things I don't know very well."
Charlotte, however, said seriously, "This is a secret of Konoha; it's information that cannot be sold."
Upon hearing Charlotte's words, Coulson stopped paying attention and instead asked about the Physical Enhancement Serum.
"Mr. Charlotte, I wonder if you sell your Physical Enhancement Serum? We can trade for Energy Block, or other items that may interest you."
"We at S.H.I.E.L.D.. can provide some rare metals that might be useful to you: Vibranium, Secondary Adamantium, Adamantium."
Charlotte did not refuse, but she did not intend to take the rare metals; Temari and the others could collect them much faster.
After thinking for a moment, Charlotte quoted a price. "200 Energy Block per set. We don't need any metal."
Coulson wanted to negotiate the price, since if the Physical Enhancement Serum was really as good as Charlotte said, S.H.I.E.L.D.. would definitely buy it in large quantities.
"200 Energy Block are too expensive, how about 100?"
"If there are no problems after testing, S.H.I.E.L.D.. can purchase in large quantities."
Charlotte shook her head and said, "Coulson, you've misunderstood. You can't just buy as many Physical Enhancement Serum as you want."
"This was granted based on the positive cooperation we've had this year."
"200 pieces per box, and there's a limited quantity."
Hearing Charlotte's words, Coulson said no more. It was already good enough that the limited-edition sale didn't raise the price; you wanted to lower it?
"In that case, I'll take one. Do you have any in stock?"
"Okay, I can manage to provide one."
In Orochimaru's Laboratory, a considerable number of Physical Enhancement Serum based on Vampire research were manufactured, while the Werewolf version was given to the Sunagakure Puppet Shop.
Comparatively speaking, the Vampire version of the Physical Enhancement Serum is more powerful than the Werewolf version.
Charlotte sent someone to retrieve a packaged Physical Enhancement Serum from the Laboratory and handed it to Coulson.
By this time, Coulson had paid the bounty for today's mission and had learned most of what he needed to know. As he left, he asked, "I wonder how you classify missing-nin?"
Charlotte looked at the 450 Energy Block and two mission Commission Form in front of her, then stopped charging Coulson and said directly, "The classification of missing-nin varies slightly from village to village. Konoha only has S-rank, A-rank, and B-rank missing-nin."
"What about Grade C and Grade D?"
Charlotte laughed, "A ninja of this caliber isn't qualified to escape Konoha and become a missing-nin."
