A Transaction Refused Again
Seeing that Ms. Pakura refused, Temari didn't mind and sat down on the Sofa Area with Coulson, carrying the things she was holding.
Temari placed two Puppet dolls in front of Coulson, then turned the hourglass in her hand upside down and placed it on the table.
"Let's begin, Agent Coulson."
Coulson saw the sand in the hourglass begin to slip away and asked, "Ms. Temari, do you know anything about Rogue Ninja?"
Upon hearing Coulson's question, Temari's expression remained unchanged, but she was momentarily stunned. She then wondered if a Rogue Ninja had been brought to this world by Lord Charlotte, or if someone had used the identity of Rogue Ninja to contact S.H.I.E.L.D.. Although Temari was thinking about these things, she did not hesitate and answered Coulson's question directly.
"I know, there are indeed Rogue Ninja within the ninja community."
"They are ninjas from outside the ninja villages, but there aren't many of them, and their strength varies greatly. Some are very strong, but others are weaker than even students from the Ninja Academy."
"I wonder why Mr. Coulson would ask about this. Have you come into contact with any Rogue Ninja?"
Coulson nodded and said, "Our S.H.I.E.L.D. has come into contact with a Rogue Ninja from the Land of Fire named Yakushi Kabuto. I wonder if Ms. Temari has heard of him?"
Temari and said, "Agent Coulson is joking. How would I know the name of a Rogue Ninja? He's not some powerful figure renowned throughout the Ninja World."
Temari said she didn't know, but the image of Yakushi Kabuto kept flashing through her mind. She hadn't expected that Lord Charlotte had also brought him to this world. The number of people in Otogakure was certainly growing...
Upon hearing Temari's answer, Coulson glanced at Temari expression but couldn't discern anything. It was perfectly normal for her not to recognize Yakushi Kabuto; it would be quite absurd if she did.
"Ms. Temari, the ninjas don't live on Earth, do they? Judging from what this Rogue Ninja said, Sunagakure should be a ninja village in the Land of Wind."
Upon hearing Coulson mention the Land of Wind, Temari paused for a moment before replying, "That's right, Sunagakure is a ninja village in the Land of Wind."
"The Ninja World is also another planet, and it's not on the same planet as Earth."
"I just didn't expect you to ask this question so suddenly. I thought it would be a long time before you found out."
Having received Temari's confirmation, Coulson was still amazed, even though he had been prepared. He never imagined that ninjas really lived on another planet.
Coulson looked at Temari in front of him, recalling the questions he had prepared on the way here, and asked, "Temari, what is the difference between Earthlings Ninja World? Are they all Earthlings?"
Temari shook her head, but said, "I don't know. I don't know the answer to that question either. But everyone looks very similar. I don't know if we're all Earthlings, but we're all Human Race."
"Human Race?"
"Yes, they are all Human Race."
Hearing this answer, Coulson was somewhat surprised, but still able to accept it.
A minute had passed, and Temari turned the hourglass over to restart the timer.
Coulson didn't dare waste any time and immediately asked, "Ms. Temari, what is your purpose in coming to Earth?"
"Purpose?"
After thinking for a moment, Temari said, "I don't know what the village's considerations are; I'm just in charge of running this Puppet Shop."
"It's like a base of operations for Sunagakure on Earth."
"However, one thing I can be certain of is that we have absolutely no interest in conquering the Earth."
Coulson wasn't sure Temari's words were true or false, but with only a dozen or so people in the Ninja World at present, it was impossible for them to take over the Earth.
"Temari, since you are backed by a nation like the Land of Wind, S.H.I.E.L.D.. wishes to establish diplomatic relations and trade with you."
"You've been on Earth for a while now, and you've gained some understanding of this place."
"I wonder if your Land of Wind needs anything, whether it's electronic technology or supplies like food and meat, we can exchange them."
"I believe that trade between the two sides can bring substantial benefits to both."
However, Coulson knew that the ninjas were backed by a planet, unlike other aliens he knew, who were either too far away from Earth or had become homeless animals, making large-scale trade between them unlikely.
However, Temari shook her head and said, "We don't lack these things. The only things we're currently interested in about Earth are your Tesseract, Energy Block, and metals like Vibranium."
"As for other things, you don't have anything that interests us at the moment."
Upon hearing Temari's refusal, Coulson was taken aback. He hadn't expected that the other party wouldn't be interested in trading civilian goods and food. Wasn't the Land of Wind a country whose land was mostly desert?
Given this situation, desert countries should have a need to import food and meat, so has the other side developed to the point where they no longer need to import anything?
Is this due to technological advancements, supernatural powers, or perhaps the Land of Wind and the Land of Fire reached some kind of agreement before they arrived?
However, what Coulson didn't know was that if Temari could really travel freely to and from the Land of Wind, then this condition would be extremely tempting for the Sunagakure.
This allure is so strong that it could even sway Sunagakure into launching a war against the country beneath its feet, since fighting Konoha is the same as fighting here.
Based on the information she had, attacking from here might be easier, but Temari didn't actually have the Sunagakure Land of Wind behind her, so naturally Coulson's proposal couldn't pique Temari's interest, nor could it lead to any cooperation.
Upon hearing Temari's words, Coulson thought of the 048 items in the various S.H.I.E.L.D.. bases, and after a moment's thought, asked, "What if it's something unusual?"
Temari asked in confusion, "What strange thing?"
"Although it's not the Tesseract, it's some items with strange abilities."
Temari looked on with curiosity; S.H.I.E.L.D.. actually possessed other items besides the Tesseract.
"You can show it to me. If it's truly valuable, we can make a deal."
Coulson then spoke up, saying, "I'm very sorry, I didn't bring the items this time, but I'll ask to bring them next time so you can see them. However, I also hope that the Sunagakure can have new items to trade with us."
The second minute passed again, and Temari remained silent as she watched the hourglass run dry.
"By the way, Temari, we'll have the Vibranium you requested ready next week, then we can trade the Physical Enhancement Serum."
Temari nodded. "Once you have your things ready, we can proceed with the transaction."
